DDr. BarmaWir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt im SEETELHOTEL Ahlbecker Hof auf der Insel Usedom. Das Hotel ist historisch wirklich beeindruckend – man merkt sofort, dass das Haus eine besondere Geschichte hat, und wenn man sich dafür interessiert, kann man dort einiges nachlesen. Die Atmosphäre wirkt sehr nobel und klassisch, fast wie eine kleine Zeitreise. Gleichzeitig merkt man aber auch, dass vieles schon länger nicht renoviert wurde. Vor allem das Badezimmer und die Armaturen wirkten deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, ebenso der Fernseher. Optisch trotzdem wunderschön und eindrucksvoll, nur technisch und teilweise funktional eben etwas veraltet.
Positiv hervorheben möchte ich auf jeden Fall das unglaublich freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal an der Rezeption. Wir haben uns dort wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Das Bett war sehr bequem und auch das Kissenmenü fanden wir eine richtig tolle Idee.
Das Spa war ebenfalls wirklich super. Besonders die große Auswahl an verschiedenen Saunas hat uns sehr gefallen – der Wellnessbereich war wunderschön gestaltet und definitiv ein Highlight des Aufenthalts.
Die Sauberkeit war grundsätzlich gut. Allerdings lag hinter der Gardine noch eine Unterhose bzw. Shorts vom vorherigen Gast, was natürlich nicht passieren sollte. Das wurde dann aber freundlich geklärt.
Das Abendessen im Restaurant Kaiserblick war absolut hervorragend – wirklich eines der besten Essen, die wir seit Langem hatten. Das kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Auch der Service am Abend war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage direkt an der Promenade ist ebenfalls top.
Enttäuschend fanden wir leider das Frühstück und den Service dort. Ich kann ehrlich gesagt nicht ganz nachvollziehen, warum so viele davon begeistert sind, denn wir haben schon deutlich bessere Frühstücke für weniger Geld erlebt. Die Auswahl beziehungsweise die Auslage war eher klein und nicht besonders abwechslungsreich. Vielleicht war es Zufall, aber wir hatten mehrfach das Gefühl, als junges Paar deutlich weniger aufmerksam behandelt zu werden als ältere Gäste. Wir mussten mehrmals nach Kaffee fragen und wurden anfangs gar nicht danach gefragt. Ein bestelltes Eggs Benedict kam nur einmal statt zweimal. Bei einem bestellten Iced Matcha Latte kam zunächst ein normaler warmer Matcha, und als ich nach Eis fragte, wurde leider eher genervt reagiert. Gleichzeitig wurden bei anderen Gästen sehr herzliche Gespräche geführt, während man uns gegenüber eher distanziert wirkte. Das fanden wir wirklich schade, weil der Rest des Aufenthalts eigentlich sehr schön war.
Zusammenfassend: wunderschönes historisches Hotel mit toller Lage, sehr freundlicher Rezeption, tollem Spa-Bereich, fantastischem Abendessen und gemütlichem Bett – allerdings mit renovierungsbedürftigen Zimmern und leider enttäuschendem Frühstücksservice.

GGuest UserThe service at the reception is impossible. At least one lady gave the rubber chewing suitable answers at check-in. Otherwise, okay. As smokers you are treated worse there like a dog. The dog gets a bowl of water set and is welcome. For a smoker there is not even a cup of ash before the door that I have never experienced. The kittens must be put in the pocket or washed badly or disposed of in public wastehouses. Some just throw them into the street. Isn't nice. Otherwise the hotel has come into the years. trip.com is not recommended. I had asked if there was a balcony at the booked room. The answer was yes, but unfortunately it was not true.
