Ocean View Hotels in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan

I had an exceptional stay at your hotel! The room was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Traditional ryukan with futon beds and shared public baths with buffet breakfast and dinner included. Whilst I enjoyed my first ryukan experience it may not be for everyone, the building is older and the cost is quite pricey for a family in my case anyway. Would still come again. We stayed here for two nights. The island is beautiful and I had a nice view of the rabbits and the ocean from the window. You can also rent bicycles at a reasonable cost. They don't sell rabbit food so you might want to prepare your own before you come to the island. I'm vegan and whilst they did say to ask the staff to show you which items were vegan at the buffets there really wasn't much choice especially at dinner. Maybe I should have made a special request before I arrived. There's no vegan food available for lunch at the cafe, so you'd need to bring your own food

Second stay. It was still great. I was very satisfied with everything from the room to the food to the service! All-you-can-drink at the buffet is sure to satisfy those who like alcohol! It was my daughter's birthday trip, so she was very happy with the dessert plates and presents prepared. It was my first time taking my family here, but they liked it so much that we decided to stay there every year! It's close to the ferry terminal and they happily store my luggage, which is really helpful.

The hotel is just across from the station, with the beach and commercial street just outside, many restaurants and cafes, and about 15 minutes walk to the cableway, the location is very convenient. It is clean and the room is large, but the problem is that there is no humidifier and it is very dry when the air conditioner is turned on.

Probably because of the small size of Kure Port, the hotel is not expensive, the rooms are larger than those of ordinary Japanese hotels, the service is good, and the restaurant is rich in the characteristics of Kure Port's warship culture. It is very close to the Maritime Self-Defense Force Historical Museum and the Yamato Ship Museum. The hotel front desk also provides a traditional Chinese version of the Kure City Guide, which is very convenient. In addition, there is an airport bus that goes directly to Hiroshima Airport at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient.

I stayed with my family. Our room faced the sea, but since it was on the second floor, there was a building right in front of it, so I was wondering if the view would be good, but it was nice because we could see the Otorii gate. When I checked in, I was told that the check-out time was 10:00, but when I made the reservation, it was 12:00, so I explained that to them, and they took care of me, thank you very much. I am very satisfied with the food and the bath. I want to use it again.

Great location for anyone planning on biking the shiminami-kaido. Room was larger than I expected, two washer/drier available on the top floor. A small basement ”garage” with bike hanging racks where I was able to store my e-bike overnight. Some of the staff are completely fluent in English which was a nice surprise. The only real issue was the AC unit's main power LED is very large and extremely bright white, much brighter than having a night light and being ceiling mounted illuminated the entire room.

It's a little far from JR Onomichi Station. I walked there for more than ten minutes with my luggage. I could store my luggage. The room was small but well-equipped. It was quite comfortable for a solo traveler. The most surprising thing was that it included breakfast. The breakfast was very exquisite and the quantity was enough. It was a standard Japanese breakfast. It was worth the money. But if I wanted to go out to the nearest Lawson to buy something in the middle of the night, there were few street lights on the road and it was quite dark.

Near the pier, up a hill, the environment is quiet, the bathhouse is not big, and fortunately there are not many people. The breakfast is exquisite. Some of the waiters are from Taiwan, so communication is no problem. From the rooms on the sixth floor of the hotel, you can see the old ruins of Miyao Castle on the key mountain (the site of the Itsukushima Battle), and you can see the large torii gate from the side, and the view is acceptable.
