I had an excellent stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. What truly made it exceptional was the extraordinary team working there—every interaction was warm, professional, and thoughtful. The room was a beautiful blend of classic elegance and modern comfort, spacious and immaculately maintained. As a foreign visitor, I found the hotel incredibly welcoming and easy to navigate, with staff always ready to assist. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, close to everything. An unforgettable experience made possible by outstanding people.

Everything is good for the price. Room is clean, well maintained. Thou the bed and room size not as I expected. Staff are efficient and prompt in replying my email. Free shuttle service to/from airport, tung chung which bring much convenience. Just the room size - with 2 26 inch luggages too small to move around. Bed not as comfy. Linens not bad thou. Didn’t manage to visit pool and gym as it’s just a layover for us.

Very spacious clean suite. Surprisingly comes with powder room. Bathroom with both shower and tub. Microwave and Nespresso. Added bonus they installed a filtered water sprout. I wish I had more time to enjoy those amenities. Location very convenient to Wan Chai station. Lastly, all my encounters with the staffs were met with efficiency with enthusiasm to make my travels easier. So nice of the staff and my appreciation. Must stay longer next time. Kudos to Trip.com for ease of booking and search this gem of a hotel through their app.

Relaxing environment for staycation. Nice swimming pool and waterslides. The kids enjoyed themselves with friends a lot! Although arriving before 3pm, we managed to get our room around 4pm only, after checking with the hotel for 2 - 3 rounds. (The hotel allowed me to check out late at 12noon in return.) The hotel seems to be under-staffed... I didn't get the crib until past midnight (actually after my daughter fell asleep on adults' bed.) My friends and I booked the same type of room, but mine was the smallest among them and I got my room latest. (Luckily, my friends invited me to their rooms to get changed first, so that the kids could all go to the swimming pool together. They invited us over to their room to play board games at night too.) I would say nice hardware in general... but it would be great to have some improvement in software.

Location: Although it's a Disney hotel, it's still quite a distance from the park entrance. You need to take a free shuttle bus, which runs approximately every 15 minutes. Getting to the park is fine, but coming back after the fireworks show often means a very long wait for the bus, and walking isn't really an option. There are no supermarkets around the hotel or the park, and dining at the hotel is exorbitantly priced. I strongly recommend stocking up on essentials at the airport or in the city before heading to the hotel. A taxi from the airport to the hotel cost 200 HKD. Facilities & Hygiene: The hotel's environment, facilities, and cleanliness were all excellent. There was no bottled water, but a water dispenser was provided. The bed was very large and comfortable. The hotel also has a Disney store, and guests receive discount coupons, which might make prices slightly cheaper than in the park. Service: The hotel does not provide complimentary toiletries. Having to pay 40 HKD for them during check-in felt a bit unreasonable.

It’s a hidden gem in the city! I stay at Royal View Hotel for 3 weeks, staff are so nice and helpful. Especially the overnight front desk staff really help me a lot! The best thing is the shuttle bus, every 15 minutes from 7am to 11pm, no need to worry about no convenience store nearby! The room was upgraded and the view is stunning. Definitely will stay here again!

The room is big and the bathroom is ok. The view was unmatched! I asked for a room away from the elevator and luckily could see the marina. Breakfast is good and varied, location is great. Nothing stood out in particular but i would recommend it. We stayed during a typhoon T10 and would’ve liked the hotel to make more recommendations to the guests, who are probably not used to experiencing this type of weather. I would’ve felt safer if some instructions on safety precautions or evacuation were left in the rooms.

Even though we checked in late, the staff at the front desk were super friendly and even gave us a room upgrade! Everyone in the lobby was really helpful, and we felt totally comfortable asking questions. We’ll definitely be back, the service was great, the location is close to the station, and there are tons of restaurants and bars nearby!

This hotel is perfectly situated in a prime location near to railway lines, making it easy to explore all the best attractions. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were well-maintained and clean, and the staff Leo was extremely helpful to arrange early check-in even though it was a busy time. Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay in the heart of the city.”

I recently stayed at the Regal Hongkong Hotel in Causeway Bay and had an excellent experience. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a more luxurious room, which was spacious and offered stunning city views.
