We had an excellent stay the room was very clean and new with almost complete amenities, just missing a body lotion. Breakfast was good too. The view from the roof deck is beautiful. Very near to airport with free shuttle bus service. I will come back and book this room again.
The location is very convenient. A lot of eateries and groceries store. It is also a good place to buy dried seafood. Near a metro station and easy to go to the ferry terminal to go Macau, ….
Toilet is rather small, but bed is reasonably comfortable. Bring your own toiletries. Only towels are provided.

Travelled with family of five, glad that i have booked this hotel with two separate rooms. Big and spacious rooms with separate living spaces considering Hong Kong hotel room sizes. On top of that. The view was perfect, unblock view of harbour though not the harbour. But for the price, it's super worth it. Was thinking of rebooking it for my next hong kong trip upon checking into the room, but unfortunately, I'm not available anymore.
It was indeed like other reviews have said. it's in the middle of the market with poultry stalls lining the street. But are you just touring that area or hotel lobby? At most, you will be spending like 5-10mins in out of the hotel to your destination of day (disneyland, oceanpark, etc), right? And like other reviews have mentioned, no toiletries (toothpaste toothbrush) provided, but lots of provision stores just outside of the hotel. Well, again, for that price, I have no complaints.
Do try out the local dimsum breakfast take out shop just opposite of the hotel. Super nice and budget friendly. For 30hkd, you get four Pan fried buns and fried bee hoon.
I'm definitely gonna book it again for my family the next trip.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, although it’s a bit far from the city center. Still, I’d give it an 8/10. On the bright side, you can enjoy a view of the other side of the city from the hotel. It's also not too far from the BTS station, next to a shopping mall, and just off the main road—overall, quite convenient for getting around.

I've had one of the most frustrating stays I can remember. Even though I can't say it was really hotel's fault, just a bad sequence of events. When I first got into my room, the room had a bit of a smell.. nothing terrible, it's almost 30 years old hotel and well carpets etc. also the hotel doesn't provide drinking water and there is only a box of tissues in the bathroom. What was worse, was that wifi was very unstable, when I tried to contact front desk about it, I couldn't reach them because of the ridiculously long queue for check in or they wouldn't answer the phone. Also the toilet was a bit dodgy, but it mostly worked. In the morning at 5 some guests made really a lot of noise, so at 6 I came to the front desk to complain about all, because, well, there won't be queues at such time. The receptionist offered to change me to a different room. Few hours later, I wanted to take a swim, but the pool was closed despite sunny weather.. apparently the government issued a storm warning. At that time I just wanted a refund and leave the place, but they would refuse, just insist on the room exchange. I went out for the day and when I came back there was an hour-long queue at a reception desk, which I refused to join. I asked concierge for help, but the guy refused to help me and had really bad attitude. So after loud argument with the men, I stormed directly in front of the front desk and demanded my new room. They gave it to me in 30 seconds and after I called to fix the wifi, rest of my stay was actually pretty great. The harbour view from 31st floor is really nice, especially early in the morning.
All in all, if one expects a 4-star hotel, this is not it. However for a budget accommodation (as was the price I paid) it is more than nice.

Very convenient location - directly linked to Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui station. Lots of food options around - whether within TST or at Mongkok or Jordan. Also very near popular eats like Bakehouse and Jenny Bakery!
Asked for ice across a few nights and the staff were helpful and prompt in bringing it to us - the only issue was what they brought the ice in (which was quite funny). On the first day, Thomas very kindly helped us to request for it and it came in a proper ice bucket. On the second day, it came in a huge wine bucket and on the third day, it came in a random small metal bowl, both of which were quite a surprising yet funny sight.
But all in all, we had a comfortable stay at The Kowloon Hotel!

I noticed a few things that made no sense for a hotel of this star rating.
The mini bar is a joke (see photo).
There was no luggage rack, so my suitcase had to be put on the bed to use it.
The safe in the room is not secured down, so anyone could walk in and walk away with the safe.
I don't like dealing with the virtue signaling people who are still wearing masks, and when I asked the girl to remove it so I could see her face while checking in, she refused. When I spoke to a manager about this, he said that they allow the staff to do what they like. Must be the only business in the world that would allow such a thing.
