Hotel & Spa Lotus (Adult Only)

When we first got there, there wasn’t any staff at the reception, apparently to call them, you would have to pick up the phone on the front desk. Although the staff speak limited English, they are friendly and accommodating. There was PLENTY of space in the room, being able to open 2 big luggage’s with room to walk around. There was the minor inconvenience of having to pack our belongings and put to a side for check out every day, and check in again. The breakfast of 2 options (Western/Japanese style) was a tad bit too salty for our liking. We had the chance to utilise the roof top onsen, and which was quite a refreshing experience. The location is 10/15mins away from the nearest train station, so not very convenient when we were pushing our luggages to the hotel.

Okazaki
The hotel is relatively old and is a motel. It is cleaned once every 3 days. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, and only two bottles of water were provided at the beginning. Later, we took two bottles of tea, and the next moment the clerk knocked on the door to ask for charges, which was a bit awkward. 😅 I don't know why there is no daily ration of water, such a basic thing. Ordered a few meals and they tasted pretty good! The pillows were too soft and the support was not very good. The heater took some time to get warm enough. The hotel provided hair straighteners, which was great. The service attitude of the store clerks in the first few days was very good and I was very satisfied. But on the last day, I wanted to extend my check-out. I don’t know what went wrong in the communication. My boyfriend heard 4000 yen as The hotel is old and it is a motel. But on the last day, I wanted to extend the check-out. I don’t know what went wrong in the communication. My boyfriend heard 4000 yen as 400 yen. He was charged nearly 10,000 yen in 4 hours. It was the price for booking a one-night hotel. Big lesson! The money can be spent. After all, we are traveling abroad. With a mobile phone, there is no language barrier. It just takes some time. But when there was a misunderstanding about the settlement amount during check-out, the front desk yelled at us: No! No! No! 😡 I don’t know what he said. Anyway, his temper was scary. We don’t have a bad temper like him. It ruined the mood of the last day of the trip. Do you hate Chinese people? I didn't speak Mandarin all the time, I spoke English. Are you impatient waiting for the phone translation? We were shocked. We didn't expect that not every Japanese person is polite and respectful. In addition, because the front desk was furious, I found out after I left that the price of the meal was not charged at half the member price, but all was the regular price☹️Can I get a refund? I ate these
