Exceptional Poolside Staff – One staff member went above and beyond, quickly securing my personal belongings when heavy rain suddenly started.   Major Letdowns: 1. Poor Dining Experience – The BBQ buffet was underwhelming, with unappetizing presentation despite the fair price. Not worth it.   2. Disappointing Breakfast – Limited, low-quality options with bland flavors. Service was lacking: no staff guidance for seating, forcing guests to scramble for tables. Empty food trays were left unfilled for extended periods, leaving guests waiting. 3. Cold & Unwelcoming Service – From check-in to room service, the staff lacked warmth — far below the standard expected of a top-tier hotel.   4. Tiny, Uninspiring Pool – The swimming pool was disappointingly small.   5. Hygiene Concerns – The room was uncomfortably humid.

I recently stayed at Holiday Fiesta Lake in Phu Quoc, Vietnam with my family, and it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We had booked a room for three people, and everything was well-prepared for our arrival. The service was commendable — the staff was polite and responsive to our needs. The room amenities were up to the mark, clean and convenient, and the swimming pool was a highlight, especially for relaxing in the evenings. One suggestion for improvement would be to have a dedicated help desk near the reception to guide tourists about local attractions and transport options. That would make exploring Phu Quoc even easier for new visitors. Overall, I would definitely recommend Holiday Fiesta Lake to anyone planning a trip to Phu Quoc. It offers a pleasant stay with good facilities and a welcoming environment.

Very Nice Hotel and very affordable! The room is big enough, it could be more clean tough (under the bed and in the bathroom) but the rest was just excellent! Everything is very nice maintained and the housekeeping service is working as well! It is quite far to the main parts of the island but if you like to use a scooter it quite and convenient! We definitely recommend this hotel!

Stayed in Building B, Deluxe Suite Ocean View, 3rd floor. The room was indeed beautiful and comfortable, but starting from 9 or 10 AM, extremely loud music with heavy bass made it impossible to sleep. We had already paid for the airport transfer when booking. Before checking in, we communicated via messages that we would be changing hotels after checkout and not leaving Phu Quoc. (I thought we could take the shuttle to the airport and then head to our next hotel ourselves.) However, they insisted that I provide a flight number to arrange the shuttle. Later, they told me to arrange the timing with the front desk upon check-in. When I checked in, I asked the front desk if we could be dropped off at our next hotel instead of the airport since it was along the way. They said OK, and there was no need to arrange the time in advance—we could confirm it on the checkout day. However, it turned out they were referring to the free VinBus, not the hotel's paid shuttle service that I had already paid for. The front desk staff at check-in completely misled us, and as a result, we were unable to use the hotel shuttle. We noticed that the door lock kept beeping, and our keycard couldn’t open the door. We asked a hotel staff member to report the issue, assuming it would be fixed by the time we returned. However, when we got back at night, the problem was still there. I had to walk to the front desk again, and it seemed like no one had addressed our request, meaning it had been completely ignored. Finally, they helped us enter the room and told us the door lock battery was low and could only be fixed the next day. We ordered room service for a late-night snack, but by early morning, I had diarrhea, and my girlfriend was vomiting. I was left completely drained and unable to continue our itinerary. When we reported this suspected food poisoning incident at checkout, the front desk simply said, ”Okay, we will pass on the message,” and that was it. No apology, no compensation. Only the exterior looks five-star, but everything else fails miserably.

We stayed at La Festa Phu Quoc in a King Deluxe Ocean View Room with an additional bed. While the view from the room was lovely, the space felt a bit tight for three people. The extra bed provided was a folding type with a fairly thin mattress — not the most comfortable for a long stay. Despite the room size, the overall experience was pleasant. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which made a positive difference throughout our stay. Housekeeping was consistent, and the facilities were generally clean and well-maintained. If you're traveling as a couple, the room would be a better fit. For small families or groups needing an extra bed, it may feel a little cramped. That said, the location is convenient, and the ocean view certainly adds to the charm. Overall, it was an okay stay — simple, clean, and made better by the warmth of the staff.

location is good, few mins walk to the beach, and few mins walk to the Grand World Nightly Light show place, where many shops and restaurants are there. There is free bus ride, Vinbus from airport to the hotel and also stops at the city centre. You can save some Grab money there. Facilities, Standard swimming pool and there are some staff oeganizing water polo games for hotel guests to join. they are fantastic. The slide is right there, but didnt open during my stay, a bit disappointed the things i dont like was that too many people smoked around the pool, which i felt very uncomfortable. The breakfast was fine, but there were so many people and staff were not able to keep the place clean. Please hire more staff. To conclude, the stay was fine, and it is value for money.

We really had a great time at MOVENPICK resorts at Phu Quoc. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service is nice. The best part is their breakfast which has wide spread and their chocolate hour every day. Great for families who want to spend quality time with their loved ones.

5 perfect days in here. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and tidy room. Free access in cildren daycare every day from 9am-6pm, free chocolate hour every day from 3.30pm-4.30pm and free airport pick up/ transfer.The chocolate and cheese cake is so delicious. There are more than 5 ice cream flavours to buy. I bought vanilla and matcha. Both were so good! I am requested to get a room and a beautiful sunset view to celebrate my anniversary but wasn't expected to be fulfilled with warm greetings via wish card, a romantic swan towel and roses deco on bed, and there was a surprise of a delicious chocolate mousse cake too in the chiller! Iron and iron board upon request. The hotel provide a tote bag to use for free along the stay. I have tried their signature coffee. I like it. So refreshing! Hotel also provide a water cooler on the ground floor to refill a drinking water. I am also use their laundry service and satisfied with the service provided. The hotel has a universal plug, and therefore you don't need an external adapter. Btw, the hotel will charge you a deposit VND1million/day and i paid for VND4millions for 5D4N using wise card. The money will be refund less than an hour after check out. I am suggested to use wise card rather than use credit card that will take 7-10days to refund the money. This hotel is not halal because the breakfast provided is mixed with non-halal food. Our only food choice is boiled eggs. maybe the hotel can separate halal food because there are some foreign tourists from other countries who also have problems eating breakfast. Overall, we were satisfied staying here and fully recommended.

The hotel is small and beautiful, with a quiet location and a great holiday atmosphere! It’s close to a popular bar, so ladies with a low budget can give it a try!

A superbe hôtel really well situated by the river. So clean, big rooms with a balcony and relaxing chairs. The staff was cheerful and welcoming .We had a great time. I will highly recommend this hotel. We walked by the river to the old town. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. You can also borrow some bikes from the hotel.
