Hotels With Pools in Mandalay, Myanmar

Don't expect anything from the local Five Star News. The hotel's facilities and decoration are similar to those of ordinary hotels. When checking in, the floor is not air-conditioned and it is very stuffy. The check-in process is also a long time and it feels that the management is chaotic. The breakfast is hardly delicious. The only thing that is commendable is that the high-rise view is very good, overlooking the city, after all, it is almost the tallest building in Mandalay.

Location, amazing. Ambiance, great. While the service and staff are excellent, but sadly the place is under maintenance. Perhaps it was because of significant reduction of guests in Bagan. Breakfast was good. Room services was good. The hotel graciously allowed us to check in early, but I found that the toilet and towels were not cleaned properly. I alerted the front desk and they immediately cleaned the room. Another issue related to the toilet was the permanent stain on the wall and floor, and also the very low water pressure. For that price and the cleanliness, I got a bit frustrated.

Location is the king. You can walk from the hotel to most places in old bagan. Hotel is just beautiful, gardens are eye candy. Cleanliness is questionable, I guess because throwing things on the floor is just normal in cultural way, as well as dust and spider webs are just part of the nature :) Food is 10-40k, a bit more expensive then average. Massage is good, 30/40k for 1/1.5 hours. Staff is unbelievable friendly and helpful!, they can easily forget something, but would try their best to help you.

Everything else about the hotel was great, except that the Wi-Fi was broken during my stay. This was unbearable because there is no 4G signal at all in the hotel—only 3G—making mobile data unusable. With the Wi-Fi down as well, I was completely cut off from the internet and isolated from the world. I had originally booked 5 nights, but after the first night, I simply couldn't stand it anymore and checked out early. The hotel staff's attitude was excellent, and they refunded me for the remaining nights. The hotel restaurant is quite good, and the breakfast is nice too.

I stayed at Holidays Pier Hotel for 2 days during my business trip on November 2025 . The room was beautifully and clean. The location was perfect with city view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. However, the air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

”Had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hospitality was top-notch, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was prompt. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect getaway.”

Very convenient and safe. You can directly book various activities at the front desk. The hot water supply is quite stable (though the maximum temperature isn't super high). There's someone sleeping by the entrance at night, which makes you feel pretty secure.

Everything was good, except for a slight issue with the front desk's POS machine. My first payment didn't go through properly, so I had to pay a second time. They only refunded the first payment after I checked out. It seems the hotel staff isn't very familiar with these procedures.

We went there when Bagan was about to close down the city. To be honest, in this situation, there are only a few hotels, and this hotel is the only hotel willing to accept foreigners. They insist on opening and serving, it's really not easy. Bagan was driven by my boyfriend and I. There are no guests at this hotel. Everyone is serving me. The hotel’s environment is very retro, with a variety of exotic cultures. The rooms are also very comfortable and low-key luxury. , From the floor to the furniture are all ancient wood. I sincerely pray that bagan can quickly rise again after the epidemic, so that more people can appreciate his divinity. This place, this hotel, this sky, this sea, you are worth coming!

Very good Hotel. NIce pool and in good location, inside the area temples.
