After seeing a recommendation from a WeChat influencer, I booked this hotel 🏨, and it was absolutely amazing! 👍👍 The price might seem a bit steep at first glance, but it's definitely worth every penny. I'm very satisfied! 😀 The hotel is located halfway up the mountain. Outside the hotel, there are hot springs. If you arrive before 3:00 PM, you can go and enjoy the hot springs ♨️ first. Check-in was very smooth, with smiling service. The overall design is a traditional Japanese garden style, ancient, elegant, and interesting. The intricate details of the decor are also worth appreciating. 😊 The hotel's 6th floor has exclusive private hot springs for guests, open from 5 AM to midnight – super nice! The absolute best part was the dinner buffet at the restaurant. There were so many choices, both Japanese and Western. The quality of the beef and sweet shrimp 🦐 was excellent, and there was a wide variety of drinks too – everything you could possibly want. It's the GOAT! The breakfast buffet was also great; the ramen was the best! ☺️ Luggage storage 🛅 was also very smart and convenient. This hotel deserves a 5-star rating, and I'll definitely visit again if I have the chance! ✨

This hotel is conveniently located. It is a traditional Japanese hotel with a lot of facilities. It is very beautiful, particularly the garden which is big and serene. The hot spring having both indoor and outdoor pools is impressive. The dining experience is fantastic because the setting is cosy and the food is extremely delicious. The mattresses, neither too soft, nor too hard, are very comfortable.

Extremely, extremely, extremely satisfied! I regret not booking it for my entire trip. The location is unbeatable, making it convenient to go anywhere. Since it was Christmas, the room was beautifully decorated. Looking at the pictures, these decorations aren't usually there, so I was incredibly lucky this time. I absolutely love this American style. Hygiene: The wet and dry separation is fantastic; the bathtub, toilet, and shower are all separate. Facilities: There's a balcony where you can open the window. I stayed in room 2208, which I believe is an excellent location. I hope to stay in this spot again in the future. Suggestion: Besides the Christmas theme, it would be great to have decorations for other activities throughout the year, such as cherry blossoms in spring, ocean themes in summer, or autumn leaves.

The room is big, but the location is very inconvenient on the mountain. There is a free shuttle bus. But the shuttle bus was gone very early. There are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby. If I go there next time, I really have to think about it again. But the breakfast is very cost-effective.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The view of Mount Fuji was absolutely perfect, creating a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. The hospitality service was fantastic—staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Every detail was well taken care of, making it a truly relaxing and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location offers pretty convenient transportation. While the building itself seems a bit dated and the overall environment is just average, the front desk staff were notably friendly and welcoming. The room was quite small, but it did come with all the basic amenities, including an air purifier and a refrigerator. The main downside is that prices double on weekends, which makes it feel quite overpriced and not great value for money. However, its convenient proximity to various attractions is a significant advantage. Sakuragicho Station, from where you can take the ropeway to the Ferris wheel, is just a few minutes' walk away. It's also not far from Yamashita Park and the Red Brick Warehouse, making all these popular spots easily accessible.

First, I was very happy to get such big Japanese-style room. It has 2 big rooms and much space. You can easily lie there if there are 8 of you. Hotel is kind of tired, but staff keeps it in a good condition. Dinner is a set menu, not kanseki. But it still was good. I was full and happy. Breakfast is a buffet. A bit about how to reach the hotel. There are shuttels from Hakone-Yumoto. It should cost 200 yen. They bring you to Okada hotel. But it's not your hotel. Stuff will give you a map and you need like 3 min to reach the right hotel. There are several onsens. Open and closed. All were good, warm. With good view on mountains. You can take yukata at the reception. And you need to make bed by yourself, but it's only cover mattress but sheet. Nothing difficult.

Not bad. I can see they are trying to make this property more known to international guests from different countries. Two dire problems: the food was extremely salty. With the exception of the Teppan dinner, all of the meals we had here had so much sodium content. Also, their food in general is not of high quality and tastes pretty much the same across all dishes. Please make improvements. And another thing I would highly recommend is that the manager lady learn English so that next time I visit this property and have to communicate in English and ask for some help, she doesn’t get sassy or mad at me for requesting another staff member who can speak English. I really needed some help with golf reservations and understandably it is not her business that we had to go golfing the next day. However, I didn’t realize it was such a rude thing to ask for another employee who could understand what I was saying when she couldn’t understand my requests specifically because of her lack of English proficiency. For this property to become popular with international guests, it would be a wholesome idea for the chief manager to learn to speak better English anyways. I guess she knew that she was being rude by hitting the desk because she came up to me and gave me her business card (without my asking and finally in a nice manner) when I merely asked a younger staff member if the angry lady was the manager. She must have known that she was giving me attitudes. When you are in the hospitality business, please don’t forget that guests are there to enjoy their trip—savoring each moment—not to feel uncomfortable or be bothered by staff’s attitudes.

The hotel's unique sailboat-like exterior makes it a Yokohama landmark! It's located right by Yokohama Port, next to an amusement park where you can see the Ferris wheel. The ropeway station is also conveniently close. The Cup Noodles Museum is just across the bridge, making it perfect for family trips. The Red Brick Warehouse is within walking distance, and there are large shopping malls and supermarkets nearby. It's a bit of a walk from Sakuragicho Station, about 20 minutes on foot. We stayed in a Bay View room for two nights this time. The room was spacious with a beautiful view overlooking Yokohama Port. Every morning around 6 AM, we could watch cruise ships docking. The bathroom was also large, and all the toiletries were Byredo. It's a shame there wasn't an extendable magnifying mirror, which made it a bit inconvenient for my husband to shave. Two bottles of mineral water, with cute bottles, were provided daily. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Haneda Airport with several departures throughout the day. You can choose a time that suits your flight; no advance booking is needed, just wait at the hotel entrance. You can pay with a Suica card on the bus, and it's 1000 yen per person, which is quite a good deal. It saved us the hassle of lugging our luggage onto the subway.

Cleanliness: I wish there was a trash can in the bathroom. Environment: Overall very clean, similar style to Atour and Ji Hotel, and the view is decent. Service: Quite good, they greet you when you come in and out. Location is great, in an office building, but it was really hard to find the first time. I couldn't find the entrance from Tokyu below, and had to ask around a lot. However, it was super convenient afterward. There are also a few Chinese restaurants downstairs, and you can hear a lot of people speaking Chinese working in the building. It's more suitable for sleeping than a vacation feel (compared to Tokyu). The sofa in the room is quite comfortable, and the bed's firmness is good too.
