Here’s an example review for Valo Hotel: --- I recently stayed at Valo Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern design and cozy comfort. The rooms were impeccably clean, well-designed, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I particularly loved the smart layout, which maximized the space without compromising comfort. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any queries or special requests. The location was also a big plus—conveniently situated close to key attractions, public transport, and great dining options. One standout feature was the wellness area. The sauna and fitness facilities were top-notch, offering the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The room has a balcony, suitable for smoking, the surrounding environment is very good, suitable for walking, and the seaside scenery is very beautiful, the lobby is also great! So I will choose next time

The hot springs are quite large in Finland. It ends at 21 o'clock. You must remember to go early. We only checked in at 20:30 and couldn't make a good soak. The hotel is very big and beautiful like a park, and there is a 60s labor at the door.

Staff are friendly, breakfast is good with variety of choices. The sea view is slightly disappointing. Sofa bed is not in good quality. Bottle water put on the table at 5 Euro per bottle - please either take them away or provide them free to customer. I would not say this stay is bad - but honestly a lot better experience for my previous stays in Hilton hotels in other countries. Don't feel I spent the money worthy this time.

It's quite convenient to take the tram from the station. If you're staying in Helsinki for a few days, you might consider getting a one-day or multi-day pass, as it's more cost-effective. A single ticket is valid for 80 minutes, allowing you to take various buses or trams within that period. The hotel is also next to a small bay with decent views.

The room was very basic but spacious and quiet. The bed was good to sleep. The service was good and due to our arrival day. We had a restaurant pizza and it was good too. I could go again, location very good.

The hotel is not in the city center but it takes more than 20 minutes by bus, opposite is the forest. The room is on the first floor, the windows can be locked, there is no kettle, it may be borrowed at the front desk, the room is not large, the water heater may not be the conventional method of opening and closing, so I do n’t know if the phone came in at night and asked if I knew the front desk number Is n’t that because they do n’t use this water heater ... Breakfast is good and the sun is plentiful.

The room was clean and tidy, nothing fancy but perfectly adequate, and housekeeping was very diligent every day! The breakfast spread was quite generous, mainly Western-style, with fewer Chinese options. Getting around was quite convenient; taxi drivers generally knew the location well. If you're sightseeing, you can pretty much cover everything on foot within a day.

Overall really nice and centrally located hotel. Close to the main railway station. All floors have different themes related to Finnish nature (Winter storm, Midsummer, Fairytale forest, Sisu, Tranquility) and the front desk let us choose between a couple of themes. We weren't sure what they were going to be like, but chose Fairytale forest, which was ok. The room was a bit on the small side and with a view to an inner courtyard - however this was to be expected with the room type. The room was really quiet, which was a bonus in the middle of the city! Breakfast was nice, mostly European style with breads etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel for the central location and Finnish style, if you want to experience that.
