Not close to the train station or lift station. Requires a pretty good uphill walk. About 15-20 min walk uphill from train station, and about 10-15 min walk from the ski lift/gondola. But once you get there, the location is beautiful. The hotel does offer a shuttle/e-car/bus transport. It's quiet, overlooks the town, views of the mountains, perfect secluded space. Hotel is clean, rooms are beautifully designed, compact but functional. Beds are comfortable, loved the rooms. We had a family room which was perfect for our family of four. The family room consists of two separate rooms across from each other in the hallway. In the hallway, there was a private entrance that brought you into the space where the two rooms were located. We loved this, because it turned our hallway between the two rooms into a foyer. Service was attentive and detailed. Loved the welcome beverage at check-in - nice touch, set the tone for the rest of the stay. Bar was cute and menu was creative. Patio deck restaurant was a perfect place for lunch. Amazing view of town and mountains, outdoor kitchen. Restaurant was great - food and service were wonderful. Breakfast was lovely. We do wish they would have changed up a couple things each day, because it was the same thing every day. Pool/Spa area was amazing. It had everything - sauna, steam room, plunge pool, two lounge pools, hot tub, showers. Caution: remember we are in Europe, some people may enter some of the facilities nude. We are personally not accustom to that, so it was definitely a little alarming for our children to see grown adults around naked. It would not be a bad idea for the hotel to have a policy around nudity or at least warn guests at check-in, on the website, or with signage. Wengen was our favorite place we visited on our tour of Switzerland, will be back, and when we come back it will be at this hotel.

petter62First, let's talk about the location. From Interlaken Ost station, turn right and walk straight for about 280 meters, and you'll arrive. Actually, you don't even need to exit the station; just walk to the end of the platform, and it's much closer. We discovered this later and always used that route – just make sure you know which platform to walk along directly, avoiding the underground passage.
Second, the hotel service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They gave a thorough introduction to the hotel and important notices, specifically mentioning not to put food waste in the bins. For self-catered food, there's a dedicated dining area (Pic 8) where they provide free plates and cutlery, which you just need to return to the bar counter after use. We had to book a suite because all other rooms were full. The room was quite spacious, with a small balcony offering a nice view of the mountains behind (Pics 1, 2). The bathroom had a massage bathtub with lavender and ice salt available, which was incredibly relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was served in the back garden, and the setting was lovely.
The only drawback was that the temperature hit 30 degrees Celsius during our first few days, and the room had no air conditioning. (Hotels with AC are rare there, which is understandable, but I still hope they'll improve this in the future, especially with global temperatures rising). After contacting the front desk, they provided a fan, which helped a lot. In the following days, the temperature dropped, and it was fine; after all, it gets cool in the mountains at night. The hotel's decor style truly resembles a vintage European hotel. Plus, there's a row of seats and tables outside the entrance, which is a great spot to sit and enjoy the street view in the evening. Directly opposite the hotel is the cable car station for the Harder Kulm viewpoint, and Hohematte Park is just a short walk away.
Third, directly across from the train station is a large Coop supermarket that has pretty much everything. As others have mentioned, the roasted chicken is indeed cheap and delicious, about 7 CHF for half a chicken. It closes at 7 PM, but there's also a smaller Coop supermarket inside the train station that closes at 9 PM. It has fewer varieties than the main one, but it still covers basic food needs, even if the selection isn't huge.

Absolutely stunning hotel! This place was nestled in such a gorgeous location! The view from the front of the hotel overseas lake Brienz. And the waterfall on the other side is a wonderful sight to explore. The hotel is historic, and due to that, they have some limitations on amenities. The rooms do not have centralized air. It was certainly not a deal breaker for us, but we did get warm during the day. The TV’s in the room were also small, and didn’t have access to the internet. Again, not a huge deal!
The staff was by far the most kind and helpful people we met during our trip to Switzerland! Absolutely incredible!
If you are visiting to see some Crash Landing On You sights, this hotel is almost perfectly in the middle of some major location. The landing dock is only 20 minutes away, and the panoramic bridge is about an hour. Though the drive to both locations was beautiful and well worth the time spent!
I would highly recommend this hotel, and certainly the restaurant! The food was spectacular and gave is that sense of royalty!

Beausite Park Hotel & Spa boasts a beautiful location with lovely grounds, but be warned: the walk up from the Interlaken West train station is brutal with luggage. Definitely communicate with the hotel in advance to arrange a transfer - you'll thank me later!
Once you're there, the staff is truly wonderful - attentive, helpful, and always smiling. They are a real credit to the hotel. However, the overall atmosphere felt a little...stuffy. The other guests seemed a bit reserved and formal, which may not appeal to everyone.
The spa facilities are excellent and well-maintained. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views and top-notch service (from the staff!), this could be a good choice. Just be prepared for a potentially challenging arrival and a slightly more formal ambiance than you might expect.

JingcongpianerThe hotel is located on Interlaken's Harder Kulm, offering views of the Jungfrau and other three peaks in the distance. It's suitable for self-driving.
The hotel offers a rich variety for breakfast, and the restaurant has a stylish decor. Rooms come with a kitchen, though it's quite basic, and the cooking utensils in the cupboard are locked. The hotel has many activities like a sauna and swimming pool, but I didn't have time to participate.
The hotel's biggest draw is its excellent location, overlooking Lake Thun and with views of the Jungfrau. The room decor itself is simple, but it has everything you need, including a sofa, a large dining table (which can be used for work), and a TV. There's also ample parking available.

Every moment here was absolutely wonderful! They were very accommodating with my requests, all the staff were friendly, and the room was quiet, clean, and had an incredible view. The breakfast was also well-prepared, compact, and tasted excellent. It's close to the First cable car, there's a supermarket right in front, and it's not far to walk from Grindelwald station. If I go again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose this hotel. For all the Koreans traveling to Switzerland, if you go to Grindelwald, definitely try staying at this hotel!

Guest UserTake 2 bus stops from Interlaken Ost and you’ll find yourself in front of Hapimag Interlaken. The room we got only had Type-J (3 pins) power sockets, but they gladly borrowed us free of charge. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the cheeses. Inside the laundry room, you’ll find a wash basin, 2 washing machines, 2 drying machines, and an ironing board. Would be coming back here if I ever found myself Interlaken.

Guest UserA good hotel local to the city and accessible by tram, in a quiet location. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a view of the city. The room contains a fridge stocked with refreshments that you have to pay for with tea and coffee provided. The bathroom contained little touches with sealed packets of ear buds, nail file and tooth picks which is nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good with a nice variety of food catering for all tastes however the plates are quite small so be prepared for a few trips back and forth to the buffet. The pool was good but cold when first entering so be prepared ro swim a few laps ro warm up.
