Paradox Hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We typically stay at Four Seasons, Fairmont’s, and other hotels similar to these types of hotels. Paradox had first class service starting at the valet (Marty), along with all individuals at the front counter. To top off our stay, we had Andrew from concierges that took great care of us, as he went above and beyond for my wife’s 40th birthday celebration. -I will be writing a person letter to Andrew, for all the amazing things he did to make our stay so memorable. It’s hard to put into words the results of our trip, as all of it was amazing, from the lounge (Megan/Morgan/Vanessa were all fantastic and were extremely friendly. To the Mansion nightclub, where everyone was fantastic and provided amazing service, as we decided to get table service for the birthday celebration. If anyone is contemplating staying at the Paradox, do not think twice about booking, you will not regret it. Also, amazing walking distance to so many amazing shops and restaurants. All-in-all, we will be back to see all the amazing people we met and we look forward to our next trip to the Paradox Hotel.

i enjoyed the hotel resort..Conveniently located in Richmond...Easily accessible to everything. Preferable to have a car. Sky train was avail , but we had our own vehicle. Resort fees includes the parking which is good compared to other hotels nearby that charges $50/night for parking. I definitely would recommend to stay here. Room sizes are large, good entertainment.

The WYCA is located pretty well central and easy to get anywhere in Vancouver. Room was clean and basic but had all you need. Bed was excellent. Wifi worked well and shower was very good. We also had a balcony. There was no kettle in the unit but free tea and brewed coffee was available in the morning. Overall it is a good value place to base yourself when staying in Vancouver

We stayed in this property for just one night before our Alaska cruise. The location is it's USP and we actually walked down to Canada Place to board our cruise. The rooms are spacious and bright and there is complimentary coffee available in the reception. Eateries are all around and the Pacific Mall is within walking distance. We had a very comfortable stay!

Location is the best! Easy to access everywhere. You can easily explore downtown, Stanley Park, North Vancouver. The room was big enough for two of us, everything was not super new but clean and decent. Very worth to come back!

This is a very clean and welcoming hotel! Unfortunately a few amenities were out of service as they are currently renovating (hot tub and bicycles) but everything else was fantastic. We booked the penthouse suite on the 14th floor and loved it so much that we cancelled our reservations at the Fairmont hotel, just so we can extend our stay before we go to the airport for our family trip on the 6th. What we thought was going to be one of the most relaxing stays through our hotel experience quickly turned into a nightmare at the Versante hotel. It was a betrayal of trust from the Versante hotel staff and what Versante portrayed their company’s values to be. I would like to mention there were a few notable staff members that were exceptional and compassionate, and it’s a shame that this experience would reflect poorly on the hard working individuals who really tried to make our stay memorable. What had occurred in your hotel with the staff members that you hired to take care of your guests was unbelievably heartbreaking and I do not wish for anyone to go through what my wife and I had to witness.  On Tuesday, August 30th we booked for a hot stone massage at Spa Versante and confirmed our booking for a shuttle the next day at 3:45PM. Manager Yasin was the one who had confirmed our shuttle booking for the spa the next day at 3:45PM. On Wednesday, August 31st at 315PM we received a call from our hotel room (1404) from Nini, the front desk receptionist. Nini asked to confirm if we had booked a shuttle for 330PM. We then told her it was confirmed for 345PM. She said OK and we hung up. At 345PM my wife went downstairs to meet the shuttle that we had booked the day before for my wife’s spa appointment. There was no shuttle. My wife asked the Valet who was there and he asked her for her name and said it was not ticketed. He then took my wife to the receptionist who was working at the front, named Nini, and asked about the shuttle booking. My wife informed her about her appointment at the spa and shuttle booking, which should have made it obvious to Nini that the booking was for the Versante Spa further away. Nini then told her there was no shuttle that goes to the spa and it only goes to YVR. Ultimately, Nini said my wife wasn’t booked for a shuttle. When my wife told her we had received a phone call from her (at 315PM) to confirm our shuttle, Nini had denied making any calls to our room. Nini then told my wife there wasn’t a shuttle coming and pointed at the door and told her to walk. Nini did not provide any help or resolution, she had dismissed my wife’s needs as a guest and failed to provide her with adequate information for her confirmed bookings at Versante Spa. It was only two girls working, Nini and Monica at front desk. Upon speaking in person with Nini, my wife recognized her voice on the phone. She had denied ever calling my room to confir

Very good location at a great price! Highly recommend this place especially with amazing staff and daily housekeeping! The building itself is definitely slightly aged, but it's evident that the current management/owners are doing their best to improve the facilities. The good - affordable coin laundry, communal kitchen, very big rooms, amazing rooftop patio and sauna, impeccable location in Vancouver downtown The not so good - no breakfast options, communal kitchen's own pots and pans look iffy, slightly aged facilities (but the communal areas are definitely renovated in recent years) Will stay again if I'm ever in that area!

Hotel guest services is very poor upon arrival, only focussed on bus service to airport. Way to much valuable free time when no bus runs to airport, that could be sanitizing sitting areas. Very poor communication, information sheet of what the hotel has to offer is only at the front desk. Basically who ever deserves to know the services they offer. The service clerk put that blame on our facilitator, ” That was your facilitator that should have informed you, she had all your keys!” Like every hotel has all those informal sheets provided in all guest rooms. My facilitator is not your employee, she was a guest along with us. Stayed there for 6 days, they considered that a long period of stay and they do not service rooms unless requested. Upon my request was for fresh washcloths, the bed was made the full garbage bins were left and no fresh washcloths as requested. Service clerk turned into a joke and claimed she did not know what I was talking about and did not know what a washcloth was. The filthiest gym, after I had walked in, I really needed to do my exercises. That was my first and last. I was concerned of contracting a staph infection from that hotel. My dozen of eggs and all my vegetables and dip froze in the fridge, the manager said all he can do is offer me a free Breakfast. I replied no, the service on your busiest day the servers have no patience, And my dip alone cost the amount of a breakfast, I can not eat too much restaurant food because I get sick very easy! My vegetables I had provided and accommodate was meant for my lunch during my whole stay. For a very busy hotel I am sure that staff is well informed ahead of time to be mindfully prepared of the amount of guests to be expected for all service provided by hotel. Very poor at the baggage storage, provide tickets, no consistency with tickets, my belongings were seperated, had to return back to hotel to retrieve my belongings, manager claim no contact information or my contact number. Ridiculously EXPENSIVE hotel filled with poor services from front desk to restaurant. Food is very good !

Great hotel. We were upgraded to a suite without asking! Everyone was very helpful, and breakfast! Great location. They arranged a taxi for us to go to BC FERRY. Told us approximately how long it would take. Even told us a few restaurants we were interested in. We would stay there again.

The room is spacious and clean. However, there are no safe nor usb charger available in the room. Besides, the mattress is a bit too soft to use.

Excellent location, at Burred station, waterfront line skytrain. Our room was upgraded to Balcony room. Not sure if good or not because first morning awoke by crow calling. 2nd morning awoke by other guests closing doors and noisy chatting at corridor during quiet hours. Only a few minutes walking, you could reach any kinds of restaurant you want that haven't chance to try hotel's. Service rating is N/A, only check-in would meet front desk.

We booked a junior suite with access to the club lounge. The suite was ok, not exactly huge as we had to lay our second cabin sized suitcase in the living area, which by the way did not have a door between it and the bedroom. The club lounge was very average, not exactly club like as there were kids, babies and toddlers as well as adults in singlets and shorts. Soft beverages were available as were snacks but alcohol had to be purchased. Pretty average compared to other club lounge in terms of the breakfast. We should have gone with a std room and bought breakfast outside .

Suite with one bed in a room, two beds in the main room which is an open studio to a kitchen. Small balcony too! Great location at the end of Robson Street so can walk into the action, but still fairly quiet. Prob want to open the windows to air the room out a bit after cleaning, but perfectly fine. Watch out for small charges. We didn't hit any tripwires, but there is a 2.4% charge for credit card and clean up fees if you leave dirty dishes and such. So don't leave in a hurry! Check in and check out was quick. The hotel doesn't seem to have facilities, but when you have a kitchen in the room, quite OK! Would def go again. Note that the old hotel name is still on the front, so don't be confused. Worked out fine.

Location is very convenient, has a few malls close by. Washroom has a stinky smell everyday. They are not very clean. Some used glasses/ cups outside another room's door was still there for 2 days. Receptionists at night time don't even speak proper English so it's not very professional. But for convenience its fine.

Easy comfortable wonderful service best location for traveling I always stay when I am travelling via Yvr only complaint no full length mirror in room can’t fault this hotel.

I had an excellent stay at the hotel. The room service meals were delicious and promptly delivered. The bed and linens were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The amenities were top-notch. The staff was quick and helpful in resolving any issues. The airport shuttle service was punctual and convenient, making travel easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff working here were the friendliest, most helpful and kind people I have encountered in a hotel ever. They definitely made up for the challenges of the current renovation. Our room was very comfortable and the view of the mountains was lovely. It was difficult not having good restaurant options for breakfast. There is a cafe with limited choices but they really should open the restaurant up for breakfast. There was a strike going on while we were there so maybe that was an issue. The pool was also closed so the the whole hotel feels a bit like a ghost town. I think that it is pretty expensive for the situation it's in at the moment but understand that it is an airport hotel so will be pricey. I cannot say this enough though: the staff were incredible. This makes such a difference and we really appreciated it.

The facilities are old and the service is normal. Every time check in, I have to pay a deposit of $100. We stayed twice, total deposit $200,which has not been refunded yet. When will I receive my refund?
