The hotel front desk staff were so nice; they let me check in at 1 AM. The room was really new, clearly recently renovated. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport, and you can tip the driver if they help with your luggage. The breakfast was good, especially for Asian tastes, and the staff there were also great. The only downside was the cleanliness. Many cups at breakfast were dirty, and out of the three towels in my room, two had hair on them.

Old Chinese people went to see the oil sculpture park and stayed for one night in the nearby town of Barstow. The environment was good, the room facilities were acceptable, the service was good, and the breakfast was particularly simple.

My stay at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles was quite a unique experience. The surrounding downtown area did not feel very comfortable to explore, especially at night, and compared to other downtown areas we have visited, it felt less welcoming and not safe. The hotel definitely has a very distinctive atmosphere—beautiful, historic, and at times a little strange and eerie, especially in the basement area where the pool and gym are located, which adds to its character. Overall, it was an interesting stay mainly because of the incredible architecture and history of the place.f

Great location (next to Chinatown and financial district) and great view, amenities and services nice too. Neighborhood is pretty safe. Also a nice bookstore just around the corner. Highly recommend!
