The child went to Cape Town for a conference. Among the hotels designated by the conference center, the child chose the Pullman. He said it was an international chain and close to the meeting place. He was the only one. He booked two rooms and both said it was very good. of
The breakfast shop is very good. It's expensive. I don't have breakfast. I am close to 200 people. Belmond, I like the brand. The hotel is in the center of the mountain. I can see it directly from Table Mountain. I don't have much nonsense. The above picture is worthy of study.

The hotel is in a very good location, with the seaside shopping mall and aquarium nearby. The surrounding environment is also very safe.
But there are mosquitoes in the room. I killed two before going to bed, but there are still mosquitoes that will disturb your sleep! The toothbrush cup broke when I picked it up to brush my teeth, and I scratched my hand. It was too late and too tired that day, so I put on a band-aid and went to bed. I checked out the next day and told the hotel front desk about these two things, but they didn't care.
First, the bad points.
I was worried for the first time in South Africa, so I contacted Marriott directly and asked him to pick me up at the airport. I had to go to the hotel by taxi on a strange land on my own. Of course I put a claim, but the reason was refreshing. I don't know if you apologize, but you could send it to the airport for free on the day of checkout.
From here it is a good point, but I felt that the security around the Marriott Crystal Towers is very good around Cape Town. You can go directly to the shopping center called Canal Walk from the bridge behind the hotel. I was able to spend relatively peace of mind, so I recommend it if you care about security.
The pool is small but you can see Table Mountain. However, the water in the pool was too cold.
There are many types of breakfast and all you can drink coffee and you can take it home. By the way, Japanese did not communicate at all.
Hotel location is very convenient! Rooms are very spacious and well maintained. It looked like a very new hotel. They have shuttle busses or even boat rides to VA Waterfront.
Would definitely recommend.
Celebrated my mom’s birthday.
We enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and our room was spacious and clean.
The buffet breakfast is great, wish it had pancakes or waffles for vegetarians. The hotel is located at the heart of Knysna- short stroll to the waterfront, plenty of restaurants& activities. Parking is available on site for ZAR30 p/ night and tourism levy is ZAR30 p/ night.
Our check in was 30 minutes late, (14:30) bit disappointed, but we understand it was peak period.
Otherwise highly recommend and will definitely return!
Relatively expensive due to location close to Cape Town International Airport however condition of room poor.
Metal window frame in room was damaged and rusty. Room and hotel floor room was on smelt of smoke (cigarettes) which is not pleasant for a non smoker. Only given a very hard grainy soap and sanitary pack. No Shower gel, shampoo or other amenities like in other hotels that cost less. I eat at the restaurant a burger and chips. Burger was nice however have a very small portion of chips (12). I fed this back. Shower was very small so each time I turned in the shower I would knock off the water as mixer stuck out so far. Location of the tap to the bowel (Sink) in the bathroom was far away so only a small part of the tap was over the bowel so placing your tooth brush or washing hand had limited space to get the water.
Customer service by the management, security guard and receptionists was great.
I felt they were taking advantage of its location but not investing in improving the rooms and services.
No walk in gate to the hotel so have to walk through an electric gate the same way cars get in and out. A side gate would be beneficial.

Stone away from most attractions
Less than 30 mins drive to attractions, restaurants, night life places, market, the beach, etc.
Very spacious.
Excellent customer service.
Very clean.
Worth visiting.
Great sea view.
Worth staying in facilities.
Easy drive to and fro the airport, less than 40 mins.
Great for solo, couple, family, business, friends, etc.
This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. I really like the rooms with a great view. Delicious and varied breakfast. The only thing about the safari is that not all guides organize it well. We had the guide Austin three times, it was unforgettable, and on the last morning another guide, I didn't like it at all.

Very Good
WWT88DoubleTree Cape Town - Upper Eastside was a wonderful experience! The hotel was spotless, and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. The location was convenient for business meetings, and it’s just a short drive to major attractions.
The room was modern, comfortable, and well-equipped for a productive stay. The amenities, including the gym and restaurant, were excellent. I really appreciated the delicious breakfast and, of course, the signature warm cookie on arrival! Highly recommended for business travelers and anyone looking for quality service and a comfortable stay in Cape Town.
ZZeeinchinaGreat place. Amazing amenities. Wonderful location right opposite Canal Walk. Could do with an AC. Should have a reception at 9 palms, not having to go to the Crystal Towers to collect keys. Wifi password should be given to guests at check in
SSaraGreat location for the airport and the free shuttle is perfect. The hotel is very comfortable and has everything for a great overnight stay. My only gripe is the staff all.standing around in groups chatting loudly at breakfast and having to wait 20 minutes for change in the restaurant in the evening.

Great location - a short drive to the waterfront and close to Table Mountain, Lions Head and the Botanical Garden where Uber will get you there quickly and for a good price.
Staff were very good
Breakfast was cooked very well and with good quality ingredients and a varied selection. It would be better if they had soft bread rather than the heavier one provided (althouh this could be a more European variety i havent come across before).
The room was homely, as is the whole building (a bit of a British Grade 2 listed building kind of feel).
Nice views over capetown in some rooms and a mountain view from the back.
Room has heating and air con for all seasons.
Cons
As mentioned in a previous review, the room is quite dusty so if you are messing around with plugs behind the bed or tv, it's a challenge not to breathe in the dust.
I think this could be a SA thing rather than the hotel itself but they only provide 1.5l of water which for a week is not enough, even for a solo traveller. You have to pay for any more. I have never come across this in 25 years of travel across 35 countries but again, i know there is a water issue in SA sometimes and I believe the tap water is drinkable (although I wouldn't attempt this as a tourist).
Bathroom towels not replaced - just left to dry which doesn't work particularly well in winter.
The photo of the hotel being near blue water is a little deceptive - obviously it is not near a beach and they don't suggest so but the body of water across the road is a water storage facility (currently empty) so don't expect tropical views. Having said that, if you get a city view room, the sunrise is right in front of you and a perfect time lapse opportunity as the scenery changes dramatically during the sunrise. Stunning experience.
Overall, I would stay again and recommend the hotel which is in a quiet location.
JJulian PeensThis bed and breakfast is in the ideal location to visit Simon’s town and its coastline however the actual set up of the bed and breakfast is a huge let down.
We arrived to find our room was not ready, once it was the place still looked unkempt, there was a bucket in the bath, the furniture had not been returned to its original locations well and the complimentary items seemed used.
On our second night there was load shedding a common occurrence however there seemed to be no precautionary measures taken and we had to use our phone lights to climb the three flights of stairs to our room only to find the rechargeable light (obviously for such occasions) had no batteries and was therefore useless. As South African citizens we fully understand the uncertainty of power but for the cost and normal clientele of this accommodation we really expected there to be more in place.
The meal times had been adjusted for the convenience of the staff who were on the premises compared to the welcome sheet details we received on arrival. The whole place seemed to be being run by support staff with no obvious manager on site for the three days we were there (we stayed over a weekend which I would assume to be a prime time)
There is about 4 parking sports in front of the building but they were not being used to their full potential and often we had to park a little further away.
Overall the location was the main positive. Considering the price we would have hoped to have better amenities and hope that the profile for this accommodation can be amended as there are no pools on the property unlike what the description had lead us to believe.
Luckily the charm of Simon’s town and the beaches made up for the serious lack of attention to detail and luxury you would assume a place this price and in this location would have.
3/10 would probably not go there again.
OO.N.AThe Westin, Cape Town, is an old hotel, but it continues to maintain its presence, quality, and some high standard in Cape Town. We stayed here for 8 days, during a friend's 60th birthday celebration event in Cape Town.
We occupied an executive room and were also given access to the executive club on the 19th floor. The room was very nice, with good linen, bed of high standard. That said, we had to lodge a complaint on the hurried nature of how our room was cleaned on our second day of stay. The bed was not made properly, the carpet floor wasn't clean, and the bathroom was half cleaned. It's not good for a 5-star hotel. After complaining, the housekeeper made amends, and the cleaning standard was raised to the highest standard for the duration of our stay.
We also ordered food from room service and half of what we ordered were not brought - they gave us something else, but after waiting for 45 mins for the original order to be brought to us we reluctabtly accepted the wrong order, ate the food and then lodged our complaints later.
The breakfast buffet was alright, but there weren't great selections of cold meats in the cold meat section. They really need to improve on this.
Lastly, the overall service delivery by some of the staff really need serious improvement. Some of the staff in the restaurant are way too loud when talking to each other, and some of them even give out bad unwelcoming and nonchalant attitude/vibe to their customers. It is like they feel that they're doing us, their clients, a favour by serving us. Not good enough for a hotel of this standard, abd some of those staff need to be retrained.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Westin and we will definitely come back there when next we visit Cape Town.
FFGTRTDThe location is good. Not too far from a Woolworths grocery store and a coffee shop. The coffee shop opens really early which is essential when loadshedding hits and you can't make coffee in the hotel. The coffee was inconsistently replenished so again, being near a Bootleggers coffee was necessary. The hotel doesn't have a generator so when there is load shedding, you will be affected. If you are going to arrive early, you won't be able to check in early as there was no one who could help us at the front desk until 3pm which is standard check in time. We ended up having lunch in the restaurant so we weren't too inconvenienced but if your flight is much earlier in the day, do be aware of this. Otherwise, not a bad stay and I would consider staying again.
GGuest UserThe Reception asks to fill a form adding your full card details go be paid on 10 days which is risky to.leave your credit card details in a form and waiting. That shoukd be nade at once tobyour card through a card machine.
