Perhaps this Sheraton use to be good in the past, but now this hotel only pretending to be 5star. Really rooms is fine, but everything needs repair, everywhere is cracks on the walls and dirty corners in the bathroom. Everyday housekeeping should clean better and wear glasses to see dust everywhere.
One thing is good is clean beddings and comfortable bed so you may enjoy view to pool and sea side, which cost 100$. But is you go around this lovely swimming pool you will see a lot of cigarette ends, dust, rubbish and broken tiles on the floor, which is right time to repair. One more note about restaurant, we try some food like pizza etc., meal is with low quality and then later I got problem with stomach. Thanks Heaven there is nice faces on reception who thy to help me anytime. Big hello to managers of Sheraton who forgot to check rooms of hotel completely, before to sell your room hotel manager shoul know what they sell to clients.
We were happy with everything — a perfect option for an overnight stay during a long layover. We stayed for one night and it went smoothly, even though the hotel is close to the airport (we didn’t hear any noise at all).
The condition of the room was okay. There were some scuffs on the walls and damaged floorboards in a few places, but we didn’t see this as a big issue for a short stay.
We really appreciated the very early breakfast — even with our early flight, we had time to eat. The breakfast was simple but had a wide selection.
Thank you for the comfortable stay!
Initially, we stayed in a super king room on the 3rd floor, which had a bathtub. However, the hot water only reached about 45-46 degrees Celsius, which was a bit insufficient, though it wasn't uncomfortably cold.
Later, we moved to a suite on the 26th floor. Okan, Sinan, and Zeunap were incredibly helpful and upgraded our room for free. This meant we had a washing machine and a refrigerator, perfect for washing clothes after more than a week of travel. The washer-dryer combo was very convenient. Moreover, the view from the higher floor room was excellent, and there was absolutely no noise. The bedroom and living room were separate, so I highly recommend requesting a room on a higher floor if possible.
Also, breakfast at 9 AM and 10 AM are completely different experiences; make sure to go at 9 AM. I found the 10 AM breakfast offerings less appealing, especially for those with a preference for Chinese-style breakfast. At 9 AM, the selection is much richer, with items like fried eggs, grapes, and more.
The hotel's location is also very convenient, with a metro station just a 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to the city center. You can even get your metro card directly at the station. Nearby, there are many large shopping malls, including 212 Outlet, which house huge supermarkets where you can buy cat food, unique local fruits, and bottled water. The top floor features a food court-like area where prices are much lower than in the old town, and the dining options are more akin to places locals frequent.
We were very lucky during our stay to encounter WTT, and we frequently ran into many table tennis players in the elevators. The hotel's gym is also excellent, with comprehensive facilities, including climbing machines.
Very nice hotel, very nice and convenient location, near the hotel many shops and nice restaurants, very clean and food is very nice, stuff are very friendly and helpful

Outstanding. We chose to stay at the same hotel on our way back to Istanbul. . 24-hour reception is helpful, expected from a city hotel, but this is more local, so we weren't sure. We arrived at 3 am and the staff were very helpful.
Would highly recommend
Service was exceptional.
Beautiful view from the rooftop, where we had breakfast.
The price is reasonable, and the room is new. While not very large, it does have a washing machine with dryer, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and an induction cooktop.
There's a free shuttle bus available, and public transportation is also available.

The hotel has a beautiful location and great service, especially thanks to Amir for his excellent hospitality. The view over the city is wonderful. The only downside is that the bathroom is a bit small.
The location is good as it is within 10 minutes of SAW airport, however our yellow taxis driver didn't look happy to be called out just for this short drive! The room was clean and complimentary water is a very nice touch. There is also a small fridge in the room which is very handy. The staff were friendly and the hotel was nice enough for an overnight stay before a flight.
The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were friendly.
It's a bit far from the tourist attractions, but there's a large shopping mall across the street, making it a convenient place to stay.
Breakfast, while limited in its selection of prepared dishes, offered a wide selection of cheeses, olives, dried fruit, nuts, and yogurt, making it a fun place to choose from.
Omelets were conveniently brought to the table when ordered.
Highly recommended for those who prefer the hustle and bustle of the city.

Great
AAbdoAbdulghaniThe hotel breakfast was great with very large selection of food, the location is not far from the city center by the train and the nearest train station is just behind hotel called Kazlicesme.
The nearest shopping mall and commercial area is around 5-10 minutes walking west of the hotel called Olivium, also before reaching the mall you will see a local park and local stores, like supermarkets, restaurants and bake shop. The hotel staff were very helpful and professional, room service does amazing work keeping the hotel rooms common areas very clean. I will definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserWe got to the hotel after midnight and was told that the room is flooded and no other room available for now. We were sent to a different hotel and told that they would have a room for us in the morning. They sent us from Crowne Plaza to Ramada (an outrageous downgrade). We slept a few hours at Ramada and checked out and returned to the front desk of Crowne Plaza. The lady at the front desk told us that there were still no room for us and we had to go back to the Ramada again. We told her we would like to speak to her manager, and she said she is the manager. I told her that the arrangement is not acceptable. Finally, she said that a room would be available in 20 minutes. What a ridiculous experience!
GGuest UserThis hotel is very good. It also has airport pick-up service and the sanitation is very good. I originally booked the hotel for two days. After I checked in, I felt it was so good that I extended it for a few more nights.
DdoudiWe enjoyed staying in G tower with all the facilities that made our holiday great! The staff were helpful and friendly especially Ms Neda. The location is also good for people who doesn't to be in a crowded and noisy area, the hotel was very clean and calm. We'll absolutely come back again!
NNatty76This hotel is defo a come back too. Hotel is in a perfect location, about 5/10 min walk to Taksim square plus hundreds of shops to walk down or a tram ride if you can’t be bothered to walk. Hotel was clean and the staff are so friendly, will do anything for you if you need anything, cleaned our room and we didn’t even ask which was a lovely thought. Always happy and smiling and you can have a laugh with them, they will help you with anything you need from travelling to different places, giving you local info, always polite. The room was fantastic, spacious, with a great little balcony that has a lovely little view of the Main road but still lovely to look out. Me and hubby will definitely come back to this hotel as we absolutely enjoyed our stay with no problems. Thank you to all the staff who were about during our stay as you made us feel very welcome. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
CCarrie-AnneThe experienced staff were both Friendly and helpful! As I was Traveling late night early morning, I called the hotel for some assistance with a taxi service. They front desk was happy to talk to the driver and even helped me confirm pricing. As a single woman traveling I am wanting to take precautions for my safety. The room was authentic and had a comfortable warmth! The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The location is close to the touristy spots with easy access to public transportation! Travelers be prepared, so many things to see and do-be prepared. I enjoyed the exciting hustle and bustle and with help I found my way on the public ferry to check out the other side for a local experience. I truly enjoyed my stay, Thank you Empire Palace
GGuest UserThis hotel was a stopover on our way back to Istanbul from Kapa and Cesme. It was surprisingly nice, with standard hotel management. Turning right outside, you'll find a very affordable and delicious restaurant. Across the street is a supermarket, perfect for buying local groceries to take home. The service was also warm and attentive, accommodating every need. The most touching thing was that we left for the airport at 3:30 a.m. to catch our flight, and the front desk representative, Brion (I'm not sure if I spelled it correctly), helped me call a taxi. He was so worried we'd get ripped off, so he negotiated a price and had us pay as we got in. He even asked the driver to write down his phone number so we could contact him if we had any questions. I'm so grateful and will definitely stay here again when I visit Istanbul.
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at Mula Hotel in Istanbul with my family, including two toddlers, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Nestled in the heart of the old Sultanahmet area, the location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s within walking distance of all the major attractions, offering a perfect blend of convenience and cultural immersion. The surrounding area is a food lover’s paradise, with an array of great restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Plus, the easy access to the tram makes exploring the city a breeze.
The hotel itself is a gem. My room was not only beautifully appointed but also boasted a stunning sea view that added a special touch to our family stay. Waking up to the serene vista of the sea was truly a highlight. The hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere made our stay with toddlers smooth and enjoyable.
However, what really sets Mula Hotel apart is its exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was not just professional but genuinely warm and welcoming. Their constant smiles and readiness to assist at any hour truly made me feel valued and taken care of. From getting a bottle of water in the middle of the night to personal touches like waiters remembering my omelette preferences after just one day - every detail was noticed and appreciated.
I must give special mentions to Ercan at the restaurant and Ilknur at the front desk. Their outstanding service and personal attention significantly enhanced my stay. Their professionalism and kindness reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.
Coming from someone who travels significantly and has stayed in several fantastic properties across the world, I can confidently say that Mula is right up at the top, and a rarity among hotels.
In conclusion, Mula Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination that offers a memorable experience. Whether it’s the prime location, the beautiful rooms, the delicious food, or the unparalleled service, this hotel ticks all the boxes for an exceptional stay in Istanbul. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city, especially those traveling with family.
