The pillows are really soft and we got a great night's sleep. Hotel staff were fantastic. Te entertainment in the evenings was brilliant. Food was a bit repetitive but you would always found something to eat. Breakfast wasn't for us though. Bar staff and waiters were great. Lovely hotel.
Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay

Wonderful from start to finish! I could not recommend this hotel more. For me, it was the hotel team. The hotel community went out of their way to connect with others and genuinely seemed to care. They showed pride in customer service and expressed that they take their five-star reputation seriously. The room standard was amazing. Due to rooms being fully booked over Christmas, I needed to switch hotels for the main Christmas days. I switched to the biggest and supposedly most “ luxury “ hotel in Sousse. Honestly, the switch was not worthwhile. I realized just how exceptional the quality is at the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. The housekeeping team visited daily providing toiletries, clean bathrobes and nice extras ( such as sweets and chocolates) to the room. Their friendly faces with their cheerful banter were a pleasure to embrace each day. The food quality was great! I do not consume meat or dairy but that didn’t make a difference, there truly is something for everyone. The fresh food selection was incredible and certainly unbeatable to those I had tried elsewhere in Sousse and Tunis. The cooks shared helpful recommendations and I tried a range of fresh local flavours. This hotel was comfortable, with a cheerful friendly team and positioned with an exceptional view of a gorgeous quiet beach. I would happily stay again, and I highly recommend the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the remarkable team.
El Mouradi Hammamet

Avoid this hotel at all costs. When I arrived, I was advised my room wouldn't be ready. They invited me to have some lunch, come back and it would be sorted. When I went back, it was the same story. Told come back an hour later, same story. It was around 3hrs after I arrived that I was able to get into my room. The room itself was absolutely shocking. The decor was like something from the 80s, there was a burn in the carpet where someone had left an iron on it, the bathroom was disgusting and hadnt been cleaned properly, when I took a shower, the bath filled with water due to issues with drainage. All in all, the room left a lot to be desired. The food was also disappointing. After the 3rd day, I stopped eating at the restaurant as it had given me an upset stomach. The bar was basic. Drinks were served in paper cups and served one at a time. I would have had my drink finished by the time I went back to the pool and would need to go back. It felt as if the staff thought the were doing you a favour by doing their jobs and did not make me feel welcome. The staff gave no information about any of the services provided and I felt like I was left to myself to figure the hotel out. I would not go back to this hotel and would implore anyone who is considering it to reconsider.

Went as a family , location just by the beach. Rooms are nice and big. For some reason there are big large windows i. The bathroom, looking into the bedroom that open. No tea coffee no milk. Only when complained they left two tea cups and a small kettle. Which soon was taken away near the end of the week. Mariam our maid was very friendly and worked very fast. Had too many rooms to clean. You can tell she was overworked. No evening entertainment. They call it a low key relaxing hotel. Saleem is so smiley and friendly if you book camel ride or quad bikes with him. His mood soon changes if you book an excursion with someone else. (He actually said “ you not book with me saleem very sad). Well we didn’t want to camel ride. lol Food was nice but runs out quick. And they just don’t understand what you’re saying. The restaurant you have to book separate are just food from the main restaurant and displayed. Seafood restaurants on beach was eating Bonny fish in the dark. And every dessert was the same grapes and melon. Or ice cream Tables in restaurants are so sticky and plug full of grease, by the omelette stand. As family we were ok eating in the restaurant, but as soon as my young girls were alone the men would just harass them for insta and snapchat and chat them up. My daughter did complain. But the young man at reception said I will sort it. Even the older men were harassing my daughters. Didn’t feel safe to let them stay or go swimming alone. One day there was no food and we had come back late from beach. As a diabetic shukar was low. Reception said all restaurants are closed now. When complained they brought me a plate of sugary cakes, For a five star hotel it’s very dirty. Hotel manger lady hafia was trying to help every one. But it just needs staff customers extra training. Spa is nice but a bit expensive and they will hassle you until you book. Then later they don’t want to know you. Lifts can get stuck. WiFi is good. When it works. Young lady Siwar at reception was very good. But overall the hotel needs a good clean and scrub. Get rid of the Randy men In restaurants. Have some entertainment. I won’t be returning. I paid just under £1000 for this holiday. It was not worth it.
Sentido Bellevue Park

We really liked our stay here , it had quick check in , polite lovely staff , the tax per person per room per night was a shock at arrival we got £90 to pay straight away we weren’t told about . The Hotel itself was always beautiful and clean and staff all speak English French and other languages. I have to rate the food as absolutely fantastic. Every day they had a different variety in the menu . Everything was always delicious . We loved the fresh fruit available was delicious oranges . The snack bar was the same everyday with limited options but it wasn’t bad . The taste was still fresh and amazing however we would have liked that to have an occasional change too . The WiFi is good in the hotel and the room and to some parts of the beach . But wasn’t available a lot on the beach this was a let down . The people selling on the beach are polite and friendly and encourage you to buy but were not pushy or rude at all and take no for an answer straight away without making you feel guilty or annoyed so that was good. 👍 The entertainment staff really work to bring something new to the table and we liked everyone in the team , personal favourite was Mimo . However everyone on team was brilliant dancers and show persons . The waiters in restaurant to snack bar to the lounge bars in reception were all brilliant happy and friendly and smiling people. Really could not fault this hotel the location is also very good, close to port kountoui and sousse . Taxi was reasonable and they drive safe and also were lovely people . Quads and camel riding are fun . It’s literally round the corner for quads book there directly for cheaper rate €15 per quad ( we realised after ) . Our overall experience was brilliant stay here kids had fun , food was excellent, staff so pleasant and shopping centre round the corner from hotel too 5mins walk Ali Baba shopping centre . The beach is excellent clean sandy beach . Pools in hotel were clean indoor pool is heated . Activities on during day were good . We did darts game and archery both were memorable good fun . Gym is good Heated pool was bonus as outside was cold in Feb . I would definitely recommend staying here . Not far from enfidha airport either .

Considering the value for money, it's not bad. Excellent sea view. Half an hour for the registration of the check in seems excessive to me. Hearty meals. Wifi works fine. TV channels need a technician to tune them, I couldn't
Iberostar Waves Averroes
4.1/589 Reviews
Disappointing for this price and for a 4 stars hotel. Room was barely acceptable, clearly not cleaned below the beds, no glasses, no towels, soap and shampoo containers almost if not empty upon arrival and were not filled at all during our stay. Towels were a nightmare to get: sometimes just enough, sometimes missing one, sometimes missing two. Getting an iron was a battle and forget about laundry service. Requests were not always met with a nice answer, they painted a room next to ours taking no precautions, getting the smell far into ours. Lunch was excruciatingly expensive for the area, forget about it. Included breakfast and dinner were OK. Location was very nice, although the surroundings are a bit dead..
Marhaba Salem - Family Only
4.3/548 Reviews
My friend and i stayed at marhaba salem for four nights. It was honestly amazing! Our room was nice and super big with a lovely balcony :) The staff were so so friendly and nice and helpful. Crouch, who was in charge of customer service, checked in on you to see how everything was going. The food was good every meal! There were plenty of activities if you want to participate but also a lot of spots for relaxation — i think we counted 4 pools plus the beach including an indoor pool. The service is fast and good and the staff are very hospitable! I also recommend getting a massage if you want to spend extra money — it was so relaxing and so amazing! One time my friend and i were sitting by the fireplace and one of the staff came and made the fire bigger for us so we could be warmer. Also the rooms have heating and air conditioning :) Honestly we had a really great time in Tunisia, thank you for all the hospitality!
Hotel Paris

Normally I only write reviews regarding highly recommended spots or places to be avoided. Happily Hotel Paris Sousse falls into the former category. I am not a ”bakpacker” and when travelling I am fortuneate to be able stay in a variety of places from $40 to $400 dollars a night. This hostel/small hotel falls at the lower end of price and is located within but on the edge of the medina making it in an ideal position to visit the old and the new town. The rooms are very small but clean, with good hot water and good beds. There is a very nice restaurant attached(Restaurant du Peuple) which is open for breakfast and lunch. All in all excellent value.
