Al Manakha Rotana Madinah

One of the best hotels near Masjid Al Nabawi! The staff are incredible! From the moment I arrived, Hassan from concierge assisted me with my bags and the staff at the reception were very friendly and they not only allowed me to check-in early but also upgraded my room with a partial Haram View! All the staff spoke English perfectly. The rooms are nice and spacious with modern furniture and the amenities provided in the room are perfect from bathrobes to multiple kits! The room was relatively clean however I’ve notice multiple finger prints on the refrigerator door as well as the bathroom door which shows those 2 areas weren’t wiped after the previous guests had left. The shower was perfect with nice hot water and the bathroom was spacious enough. The hotel has 2 towers and we didn’t know which tower to go to so we ended up going to tower 1 were the receptionist informed us that our booking is in tower 2. I had an elderly guest with me and moving towers like this was very inconvenient. The hotel should inform the guests about the tower number and parking instructions before arriving at the hotel. The hotel is very close to the Haram with just 6-7 minutes walk to both the men’s and the women’s entrance (door 11 and 12). Upon returning to the hotel, the staff were promptly situated outside the elevator doors assisting guests with the elevators. About the breakfast. It was fantastic! The options available were great and included selections of cold appetizers, bakery items, main courses including french toast and pancakes. The breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient and they never said no, especially Riaz he served us coffee and hot chocolate. The items were being refilled quickly. The 2 ladies welcomed us for breakfast with a huge smile. Suggestions to improve breakfast: 1) there was no live cooking counter for omelette. The omlette was being cooked in the kitchen and was being stocked in the hot plate. It would be great if the hotel could consider introducing live counter for omelette as it really would help us guests to make the perfect omelette for ourselves and eating it warm and fresh. Other hotels do have a live counter. 2) Though all the breakfast items were great, the French toast wasn’t good at all! It didn’t taste like a French toast. The sambosas were undercooked and very chewy so wasn’t able to eat them. Improvements on this will make the breakfast experience perfect! One more thing to add is that the staff not once said “No”. They always accommodated our requests whatsoever. I asked the reception for a plastic chair for my elderly mother to sit and take a shower, thought they didn’t have it, they offered us to switch to an accessible room with no additional costs! The hotel is not very busy and crowded as I didn’t see any groups here. I hope the hotel can maintain this very same standard or else it’ll be very easy to be like the other hotels who don’t care about guests. All in all, I’ll definitely choose Al Manakha Rotana again on my next trip to Madinah and wishing this hotel success!

Anwar Al Madinah Mövenpick Hotel

Originally this hotel checked us into three rooms in the Al Medina Tower. This section of the hotel does not in any way deserve to be called a 5* hotel. It's worn, corridors are very narrow, dirty, old, smelly, looks scary, use any bad adjective to describe it. The rooms we were given were appalling. I sent trip.com a message to inform them of this and they started dealing with it. Fast forward 2 days in, the hotel moved me to the Al Haram tower, which is much more spacious, clean, refreshed, in three executive suites. I recommend all those booking this hotel to only stay in the Al Haram tower (until they renovate the Al Madina tower of the hotel). The Al Haram tower was good but was still a bit dated and needs to be modernised to fit in with current 5* aesthetic and quality. Food is available on the ground floor (served in takeaway dishes - 60 SAR per dish, no menu, just check on the TV screen), 190 SAR on the third floor restaurant, and there are other restaurants that may or may not be affiliated with the hotel in the building on other floors. The 190 SAR is not worth the price, unless you want to eat exclusively arabic dishes. The 60SAR per dish on the ground floor is reasonable and very tasty, just the customer service is a bit lacking (no paper menus/ takeaway cutlery and utensils are only provided). I really hope this hotel can spend some money on updating its interiors and reception, they are so outdated and too low in height. I hope they can look at the Jabal Omar hotels in Makkah for inspiration. I know most of the hotels in Medina are very dated, and are still very busy, but it's not fair to the pilgrims who pay so much money for unsatisfactory rooms.

The hotel’s location near the Prophet’s Mosque is excellent, making it convenient for visitors. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Rooms felt outdated, cleanliness was lacking, and staff were slow to respond to requests. Parking is free .While the location is a big plus, the service and facilities need significant improvement.

The hotel staff is great, I lost my key (card room) in Masjid Nabawi and they didnt even charge me with anything. We can also put the luggage after check out in the safe place. The building is older, but functional. We dont have to wait for the lift because there are 6 lifts for the building alone. I’m shocked that the shampoo and soap is from Brooklyn, which I’ve visited New York in May but no time to visit Apotheke 😩 Near gate of Masjid Nabawi from the hotel is 365. You can choose this hotel instead of Pullman Zamzam if you have strict budget like us. Because the location is not that far from gate 365. This gate is near Rawdah. Ps: I take this photo right before check out. Sorry for the mess

This is an ideal location as Masjid e Nabwi is just 3 mins away. There are many restaurants nearby and almost all of them serve good food. The rooms are pretty spacious but lighting is too dull. Also the phone in my room was not working which was later fixed by the hotel staff. The king size mattress was not comfortable, seems like it requires replacement. I also hope that they will replace their existing refrigerator with the new one as it was not working well or may be moving it out of cupboard will help. Overall, it was a pleasant stay as my main focus was to have easy access of Masjid e Nabwi.
Yaqoot Al Madina Suites

This hotel was supposed to be 3.5 kilometres in a straight line to Masjid Al nabawi but due to road works we ended up travelling 9 km each way. The hotel itself is a converted apartment building that turned into Suites probably because the owner couldn't sell the apartments due to the area not close to any business centres or shopping malls. Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and communication is great No USB charging ports provided anywhere including lounge or bedrooms. No towels or any cleaning supplies provided to keep this little apartment clean. Bathroom floors were extremely slippery to the level I would call dangerous. Bathroom fittings, kitchen ,bedrooms and all furniture in living area also large and comfortable , but we booked for six beds they only provided us 5 beds plus a thin single mattress , which was a great disappointment. But for us, the biggest drawback was that it's too far from Masjid Al nabawi and not suitable even at low prices. I would recommend paying more to be closer to Masjid Al nabawi there are plenty of options within 15-20 minutes walk at good price, but if your reason to stay in Madina is not Masjid Al nabawi, then this hotel suite is okay, just consider all the notes I made above.

The mosque is very close to the Haram (about 5-7 minutes walk) flat road Women's gate is very close It is located on the other side of the Haram, so if you have a reservation to enter the Rawdah, go ahead to arrive on time. The reception is very helpful, and the service comes quickly There is a kettle and a refrigerator. There is no microwave. I was allowed to enter before the check in time (about 9-10 am) due to the availability of rooms (the number of beds was not reserved, but I had no objection). Recommend. Especially for young people.

This Hotel near to Masjid Quba, Masjid Bilal. This Hotel is on the west side of Masjid Nabawi. Walking distance to Masjid Nabawi. Walking distance to Chef Market. Not recommended if you planning walking with stroller or wheelchair. Group of friends or DIY Umrah, recommended. Aram Hotel provided us a sharing washing machine for your own laundry.
