We stayed in a treehouse, which was small but very cozy. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. It had everything we needed (fridge, TV, hairdryer, electric heater, shower amenities). The resort is beautifully situated within a nature reserve, with lovely grounds and lighting… it felt like we were in the Alps… truly a fairytale! The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the property. The ski lift was close by. Breakfast was superb, everything was fresh and delicious, they even served sparkling wine. Highly recommend! We had a wonderful time!
The accommodation is near the airport and there are food options nearby. The staff doesn't speak English. There's no air conditioner remote in the room; you have to go down to ask for one. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up yourself. Overall, it's comfortable, and they allowed me a late check-in.
The glamping tents are perfect for visiting the Charyn Canyon (Valley of Castles). They're right by the visitor centre at the entrance gate, 10km down the road from the turn off the highway. Guides there also offered us an exclusive canyon hike. Tent itself was great for two of us - two beds, heater, light, and the view is amazing. It was occasionally a little noisy when the wind got really high. The tent doesn't have a bathroom - you have to walk a few minutes to the visitor centre. Regardless, it's one of the best places to stay to visit the Canyon.

🚗 This popular riverside hotel requires you to park at Baursaq, then a 4WD from the hotel picks you up. It's a bumpy half-hour ride.
🥓 Breakfast is served at the Tary restaurant, which has an amazing view that everyone wants to check in for. However, the food isn't good at all – it's cold and expensive. The best thing was the fresh juice 🥹, but the beautiful view made up for it.
☁️ As for the hotel itself, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The problem is the walls are incredibly thin; you can hear conversations from the next room. And if someone is walking, the whole room shakes! One night is okay, but multiple nights might be too much.
Overall, it's an 'eh, you can go or not' kind of place. The price is quite good, but it might not be the most comfortable. I recommend visiting in the summer; the views will be even better ✨
