Hotel is the Perfect gateway to the Fuji Q highland theme park, as it allows early access, which you can finish 2 rides before the park officially open. Even not going for the themepark, the place also provide good onsen spa. It is also near shopping and food places. The breakfast is also has a wide variety and delicious.

So far this is the most expansive room I booked, come with front view of Mt Fuji, room 412. However the Mt Fuji view did not command the price tag because unless you stay in for the whole day to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji. View of Mt Fuji can enjoy from all angle. Best of the hotel is the coffee serve which is the best so far, among dozen of hotels. The welcome drink of soft drink also last till 7pm, which is shorter that most of other hotel. May be I am biased, where the hotel have multiple accolades from Rakuten Travel, catering to a lot of local Japanese clients. The public bath also not great, where I have experience much better and real onsen at Ariman Onsen area. Area of improvement: 1. In the level one inner bath, there is a cover for the exhaust fan and is not mounted back after maintenance. 2. At the fifth level bath, there is one washing cubicle just besides the bath with no cover to prevent the person showering water into the bath.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. Its location near Kawaguchiko Bridge is fantastic – it's just a short stroll away, and from there, you can capture stunning reflections of Mount Fuji. You'll find plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores in the immediate vicinity. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western options, and the curry is especially delicious. While the rooms are on the smaller side (a 24-inch suitcase might not fully open), they are thoughtfully designed and fully equipped with everything you need. The absolute best part is the complimentary shuttle bus! It runs frequently between the hotel and Kawaguchiko Station throughout the day. What's even better is that you can pre-book a shuttle to Mishima Station a day in advance – truly an amazing perk. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kawaguchiko.

A great hotel. Though the immediate area felt a little remote, it's very close to Fuji-Q Highland. Within walking distance, you can find small restaurants, a yakiniku buffet, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. The rooms were quite spacious, offering views of Mount Fuji from the window. Breakfast was also good, with a decent selection. As we had a private car, I'm not familiar with the public transport options in the area.

The hotel boasts beautiful surroundings and spotlessly clean rooms. The unobstructed views of Mount Fuji from the window are absolutely stunning – truly unbeatable! They also offer bicycle rentals, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. It's very reasonably priced and offers excellent value for money. Both the owner and the staff are incredibly warm and hospitable. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay, and I'll definitely be back!

It is a resort tucked away from the busy Kawaguchiko station area, yet convenient to go to the station for sightseeing buses thanks for the hotel shuttle bus. Please check the shuttle schedule on the hotel website. We really enjoyed the beautiful hotel garden and trails by the lake outside the hotel. You can also rent bikes from the hotel with minimal fees and ride around the lake. The buffet breakfast has variety of both Japanese and western options. We had dinner in the hotel too since there is no restaurants in the vicinity. The food is fine but pricey. The onsen is nice. I am not sure it is hot springs water though. Overall it is a very nice hotel and we had a relaxing day here.

We stayed for one night in Bettei Rin Japanese style room with mountain view and dinner. The Japanese lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. There weren’t many shops and restaurants nearby so you might have to take a bus to go around. The bus stop is just next to the hotel. The hotel sells some snacks and cup noodles but I do recommend to buy snacks from minimart near the train station to the hotel. The room has a large window for the impressive lake and fuji view. Even though it was cloudy and raining lightly a whole day, we enjoyed free onsen very much! There are an indoor bath in the 7th floor and an outdoor rooftop bath. We haven’t tried the rooftop one. The dinner was good. Fresh, have some variety, sufficient portion for us. The dining room service was great and welcoming. After checking out, we went to the train station by the hotel’s free shuttle service.

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and two children during a one-night stay in Kawaguchinko in early February. Location: The hotel is reasonably far from Lake Kawaguchinko but I was driving so that was not a problem. However, it gave us a far better view of Mount Fuji. We were blessed that we visited on a day with clear skies and we got a fantastic view of the mountain from the balcony. Cleaniness: Everywhere we went in the hotel was clean, including the Hot Spring. Service:The receptionist was helpful and spoke reasonable English. We asked for a few extra items for our kids that housekeeping didn't bring all correctly. Facilities: We were pleasantly surprised that there was an Onsen in the hotel as we didn't know. It was clean and looked quite new. The breakfast was a little disappointed but it was relatively cheap so I wouldn't complain. Overall: This was a nice hotel at a reasonable cost. i would consider staying here again. The view from the balcony is worth the stay alone.

This hotel is an ideal choice for a perfect trip! It combines accommodation, hot springs, food, and entertainment, and is very cost-effective. The accommodation fee includes a rich buffet breakfast and dinner, which are rich in variety and high in quality. Starting at 3 pm, the lobby also provides various wines, beers, and snacks for free, which is really thoughtful! The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off service from the station, which is very convenient. There is also a tour bus passing by the door, and a single ride is 600 yen. It is recommended to buy a one-day ticket for 1,200 yen, which can be used unlimited times, which is great value! The hot springs in the hotel are clean and comfortable, and the indoor recreational facilities are also very suitable for families with children. No wonder many families choose this place as a parent-child travel destination. From service to facilities, every detail can feel the hotel's care. Highly recommended to all friends who come here for a trip!

A fantastic stay at La Vista Fuji Kawaguchiko! ✨ Enjoyed an excellent dinner with one of the best roast beef I’ve had, a sumptuous breakfast featuring sakura mochi dumplings, and even complimentary ramen for supper. Loved the relaxing public bath, especially with ice candy after. And of course, the Mt. Fuji view was simply breathtaking! Though the rain covered it today, we were lucky to catch a stunning view yesterday. Would definitely return! ⛰️🌸

OOnsiriJapanese style hotel. A bit old and outdated but I think it's charming with Tatami, futon and closet like where Doraemon sleep. If you arrive at station after 3 pm you can call hotel for free pick up service, just 10-15 mins then they're there. We've got a room at 10th floor so bit of a walk from main building to our room but it's fine there, great view of Fuji and lake. Room were nice in Japanese style like I ever read in manga. Our rate were breakfast and dinner included. Then they arranged for you as the time you prefer. Excellent food and super good service! Even they speak 99% only Japanese but service is extraordinary. Don't miss the onsen too, cool experience to take a bath with a view. They also have shuttle service to train station , just ask reception ,free of charge.

WWennyCleanliness 10/10 The wet and dry area of the bathroom are separate. Everyday they will clean the room unless you decline the cleaning service. Location 10/10 The area is secluded, the place is very private. For someone who doesn’t like crowded places and love peace and quiet, this place is for you. Plus it has a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. It just so sad we only stayed 3days and 2nights, we checked-in late on our first day when Mt. Fuji showed up. We were busy looking for a place to eat since the hotel restaurant was already fully booked for dinner. The next day it rained and Mt. Fuji doesn’t show up until the day we left 😞 I suggest booking early if you want to eat dinner at the hotel since the nearest restaurant is already at the foot of the mountain which is 5-10minutes by car, and around 20-30minutes walk. The hotel provides free shuttle going down until 5:30pm only while until 8:00pm for picking up on yamanakako bus stop. For someone who loves to walk while enjoying the view, it really doesn’t matter but it tends to be dark and might be dangerous to walk at night time since it’s in the mountain side. Overall, I love the location, you won’t actually want to go out when you are in this resort. It has everything you need except hair conditioner 😅 Service 10/10 The staffs are really friendly and easy to talk with. All our requests were granted except booking dinner on our first night since we arrived late, though, the staff is very helpful to give us recommendations where to eat and helping us to book a shuttle. On the day of our check-out, the staff didn’t understand that we reserved the shuttle later that day to go out on the bus stop, but he immediately resolved it without arguing. Amenities 10/10 Amenities is complete but we haven’t used that since some of our members have tattoos and cannot use the sauna and onsen. While some of us are reserved and not used to being naked on the open 😂 Anyway, the rooms are spacious and we had a comfortable stay. We would definitely book this hotel again when we want to stay on a place with the view of Mt. Fuji. And we would love to recommend this place to our friends.

YYI QUANBooked 2 rooms for 4 and was picked up by a friendly driver at kawaguchiko station. The room was sufficient for two but with big luggages could make it a little bit squeezy. Had a public onsen equipped with many amenities to make one feel fresh. Breakfast buffet was good with a decent variety for food. They also sell dinner buffet which is definitely worth a try. Location was it is right next to lake kawaguchiko with a nice view of Fuji (if it's visible). However to travel to other attractions like fujiq and oshino hakkai is a fair distance, but they offer a morning shuttle service to the station and a evening shuttle service back to the hotel which is very much appreciated

GGuest UserThe hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!

SSharilAzri85Location is the plus point for this hotel. Other than that it has on site Onsen. Rooms a bit old style so does the toilet without the techy toilet bowl. Just a sachet of green tea available inside the room. Not going to elaborate much as it just a quick stop alone and I’m just looking for the cheapest available on Kawaguchiko. Best part is, even from the parking spot, u can see the majestic Fuji-san.

SSor Yi MingPlace is close to ropeway bus stop. however, it can be a challange to carry your luggage up the hill slope which is share with cars and visitors to the ropeway. smoking room doesnt smell smoky as they provide purifier.. but the hallway lead to the room are very smoky in smell. just has to bare with it. once enter, required to change show for their slippers, proceed to check in, there are foreign staffs that can speak some english to help with check in if you check in between 3 to 5pm, there are free flow of snacks (popcorns, meatbun, mugi cha) and alcohols ( lemon sour and asahi beer) once check in u can go for onsen to relax. not mandate to wear yukata. but feel free to do so for the immersion. the room is dated, like stuck in the 90s or early 2000s. toilet is seperate from bath.. frankly speaking its better to bath at the onsen if you dont mind ***** infront of strangers n stared by japanese guests to see if u make any mistake ( they want you to be clean in every nook and cany) as they are in the onsen has sauna but quite small. hover 82 degree c has old school water spray jet which u need to control manually on all 3 sides.. good luck to do it fast during cold days. basic amendities at the onsen area.. just hair dryer, fan and thats all bed n pillow quite soft... pillow are small but u can get more from reception. great view of the lake from hotel room and dining area. breakfast is ok. everyday similar menu.. buffet style breakfast.. fish, asa curry, breads, minced marinated sashimi don, corn soup and miso soups. free flow coffee, soft drinks and limited selection of fruits. dinner is ok, buffet style but 90 min.. need to info counter what is your prefered time slot. i recommend choose dinner... cuase it is quite a distance to the bus station for food.. and the queue are horrendous but the food are nice there tho, u can even admire mt fuji. heard the dinner theme is based on months or seasons.

GGuest UserLovely property in a great location. You’re slightly more off of the beaten track but the tourist bus stop is right out front of the hotel. Great being right by the lake. Amazing room, massive for just me. There’s no shower in the room just a toilet but the onsen was lovely and you can shower in there. Older property also be aware those with accessibility needs the hotel is up quite a steep slope/numerous stairs and then when inside there’s no lift so I had to carry my luggage up and anyone with mobility issues would struggle as I believe all the rooms are on the first floor and that’s after tackling the way up to the hotel. Staff were lovely, can’t comment on dinner or breakfast but a great traditional ryokan stay.

NNaqueyaFor some reason I was not sent a QR Code to my email to check in. I was sent a pin number which was not necessary or utilized. We arrived at the villa several hours early and called to see if we could check in early, they apparently have a strict after 3pm check-in. We found a place and paid to store our luggage and then came back to the villa at 3pm. Again, still had not received the QR Code. Called again, was hung up on. Called back, was told it would take 10 minutes. Called back and was asked for my email, was put on hold then was asked for my email again (which was already provided at booking). Then was asked to send them an email, they didn't get it and then was asked to send to personal icloud email. They finally found my email and sent the QR Code to me at close to 4pm which was an hour after check-in and we had to stand out in the sun the entire time. This was so frustrating and ridiculous. My email address was in the reservation, why it took so long is crazy. The process needs to be updated so this doesn't happen to other people. There was a huge spider above the TV in the corner, we got rid of it but it was creepy. The view from the villa was great! The beds were nice! Loved the double showers! The body sponges are so clever and left our skin feeling smoothe! The clothes drying was very innovative and did work effectively, needed to turn the heater on twice to get the clothes dry. Towel rack on the wall was broken on the right side, the rod wouldn't stay in. The one pot in the kitchen was burnt on the bottom inside, we tried to clean it to use it but could not. We did use the grill to make dinner and it was a wonderful touch!
