The hotel is good. The stay was excellent. The location is excellent. The hotel is located on a tourist street. Historical sites, the Museum of India, the Victoria Memorial, restaurants, and nightclubs are nearby. The hotel has a clean, large pool, an excellent spa, and a large gym with lots of new exercise equipment, dumbbells, and barbells. The restaurant offers a delicious buffet breakfast. There are some nuances: the second floor is for those who smoke in the rooms, but even in the lobby on the second floor there is a very strong smell. The rooms on the second floor do not have an exhaust fan. There is no cigarette smell on the fourth floor. Non-smoking rooms. The bed linen is not fresh and poorly laundered. The pillows are old and stained, the room is poorly cleaned, and not clean. The rooms are perfumed and in need of updating. The water in the shower does not drain well in rooms 254 and 454. The bathroom door has large gaps and does not close tightly, and everything that happens in the bathroom is very audible. The room is overpriced. Overall, this room for two people costs 6,000 rubles. It's expensive, the maximum price for this room is 3500 rubles maximum.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Newtown City, Kolkata with my mother and my son. The amenities and overall environment were excellent, very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Everything was well managed and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again.
The towel rack and safe in the bathroom were positioned too high, making them completely out of reach for a petite person like me.
The next day, I asked them to place the towels where I could reach them, but I never used the safe.
The chair was also too high and couldn't be adjusted, making it difficult to sit on and dangerous, so I never used it.
I arrived late at night and had the wrong date, so there was no reservation for the day I arrived.
The female staff member who dealt with me was unfriendly and rude.
In the end, I was able to stay thanks to a friend's contact, but the other staff were very kind.
A flawless experience. Incredibly luxurious stay at a great price for a business traveler. Excellent English skills by everyone. Room serve was prompt, even though I didn't order until almost midnight. Nawab, the *** helping with cars, was a truly phenomenal help. He called my ride and made sure my trip went smoothly, and got me and the car loaded up and on my way.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean and modern. The location is very central, close enough to the airport and also to city center. The only issue I have is they would not allow the AC to go below 21° and at night it would get hot in the room, I asked the front desk and they told me it was general standards. Other then that the stay was a total pleasure and the breakfast menu was good.
Check in was smooth and quick. I was escorted to my room. The room was well appointed, clean and house keeping did a good job. The hotel took care of an issue with slightly faulty bathroom faucets as well. Overall, a nice stay.
Had a great stay, would’ve given a 5/5 but for some reason during check in the receptionist kept insisting that she could only give me 2 x twin bed room for 6 people even though I’d paid for 3 x twin bed rooms. Maybe she was confused but it’s not what we needed after a long journey (especially even after showing her my booking confirmation).
However in saying that, everything else was great and staff are super friendly and attentive.
The service staffs, esp front line girls are highly attentive, serious in resolving our problems .
Ur management team did care for our transport issues and acted professionally to solve it.
Kudos .....to the front office team.
🥰🫡🫡👏👏👏👏👏
It was clean, friendly, and the breakfast was great.
The front desk staff was also friendly and quick to process things, so I think I will use it again next time.
Child abuser . Marriott hotel are allowing children as young as 3 years in their bar and not one , seven of them and for hours. They were in the bar when their parents were drinking and even the children were holding alcoholic beverages. I objected few times regarding allowing Children in a bar but no action taken.
It’s against the law and I believe Indian law doesn’t allow less than 21 years old access in a bar.
I couldn’t believe Marriott are allowing illegal activity in a geotag operated by them and that also rested to child and only word I can use is Child Abusing.
Great

Very Good
EEHSANIt is really a nice hotel. Good ambiance.
Some people will complain about back side construction view & noise.
But fortunately I got front side room, moreover who looks outside in city hotel?
But for sound hotel May change backside windows to soundproof options.
Clean & decorated room.
Breakfast is ok, rather I would say Good if not Very Good.
Reception people are very helpful, I got early check-in at 12:30PM.
Nearby Shopping District.
As it is busy area, so get ready for whole day huge traffic.
CCharlesLouisBest hotel in Kolkata.
Thanks Ani and all the team from the executive floor for the kindness and service.
Thanks for the lobby, doorman for smile and support.
See you next time.

GGuest UserThe overall experience was good. There were some issues with housekeeping which was annoying.
Service and staff were very good. Mr Raj received us very well late at night.
Service at the restaurant was exceptional.

TTanjilHonestly speaking, the hotel was great. The location was a bit far from the airport, BUT it is located at one of the cleanest places in Kolkata, making it a huge plus. Now for the details:
Room: 5/5. The decoration, the ambiance, the wall art.
Lobby and other places: 5/5. Absolutely loved the design and hotel architecture.
Bathroom: 3.5/5. Honestly, it is a basic bathroom, but I expected more from a 5 star hotel, even on the cheaper rooms. There was no bathtub, which I feel is fairly common everywhere I’ve stayed in.
ONE PROBLEM: A major issue I have faced was after turning on the water. It had a smell, which I am guessing is from the river beside it. I feel like the Hotel should add a water filter to avoid this problem, because the smell doesn’t go away until the water is turned on for at least 5-10minutes. If I wasn’t South Asian, I probably couldn’t have taken the smell as easily as I did. I would put this in High Priority to fix for attracting many more customers.
Bar and Food: 4/5. Good collection, great taste but very expensive.
Lastly, a shoutout to Al Jabbar and Al Sahid from the Housecleaning service, they were extremely polite, fast, very thorough with their cleaning and very well mannered. Absolutely a delight to talk to and learn about the local areas.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very rare to find such good hotels, with some minor flaws.
GgerardVery friendly staff and good location. Although 3 stars is a bit high. It is rather 2,5 stars. Breakfast was a good start of the day, continental and Indian. Room was small and old, ac noisy. But who cares; you don’t go to Kolkata to stay in your room. On the roof was a terrace where you can eat and drink. All in all great stay. Will definitely come back next time
GGee WooIt is a floating hotel I didn’t realize.
Very convenient and beautiful hotel
All staff were so friendly
For Instagramers, it would be heaven
Breakfast was brilliant with curry, nan, zapati and so ***y sweets!
It is floating but very comfy
Only 1 issue l, no toilet paper or tissue any place even inside a room
It would be India issue, not a hotel issue though
I LOVED THIS HOTEL!!
Definitely will recommend my friends too
DDulumoniHospitality was excellent. All the staff were very courteous, which is really commendable as now a days hotel staff are usually found to be inefficient.
