I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE! For the following reasons: 1. Location The location is far from local amenities such as supermarkets, shops etc so if you dont drive you will have to spend ALOT of money on taxis. However the hotel is right on the beach which is a positive. 2. Facilities/ Value for money The facilities are not up to standard for how much they charge. You are better off going to another hotel. The rooms are outdated aswell as the appliances.( I booked a self catering villa) the bath was dirty, hair drier and phone was not working, the cabinets and doors were chipped. Furthermore there was no light in the fridge. You dont get no liquid hand soap just some small bars of soap. The pans provided stick when cooking and are in bad condition. The place really needs updating! 3. Entertainment There's no entertainment except a little steel pan for a few hours. so if entertainment is your thing you're better off going to another hotel resort. 4. Staff Generally the staff were good however the manager of the hotel was unsympathetic to the fact that we were charged so much even though the place is substandard. I raised this with the manager and was told ” this is what it is and that we knew before we came” and also when I raised the fact that the phone in the room was not working, i was told ” everyone has cell phones”. The manager just wants your money and doesn't care about the state of the place. We were overcharged by one of their receptionists and told we would receive an invoice. Days passed and never got it. Had to chase them for that. 5. Airport transfer The guy they have doing airport transfer called Dexter, was 30mins late and was driving dangerously. He was rude, clearly had road rage and should not be driving guests! After having a nice holiday then being driven to the airport by someone like him is a not good.
Spice Island Beach Resort

This well laid out hotel with accommodation on either side of public eating and entry areas. Everything basically faces towards the magnificent Grand Anse Beach giving views over the water to St George's. There can be few better gardens in the entire Caribbean than those that spread across the accommodation. The meet and greet was first class. We were in rooms 51 and 23, both having plunge pools in their private gardens. Room 23 was larger, with a private fully stocked bar, a very comfortable fully king sized bed, spotlessly presented and upkept by the team. The bar team was brilliant, fronted by Dexter with the likes of the ever happy Jeron and Kevin. Seriously good guys. The breakfast was a joy with beautiful fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc and if you wanted, a good variety of hot dishes. Lunch and dinner were quite different with perhaps lunch providing more local dishes. Do try the Goat Roti if available. The serving teams were in the main most helpful and even smiled at their guest's poor jokes! Whilst the food from the kitchen could take time, the upside was it felt freshly cooked. If not enjoyed, it was sent back, and senior staff would come out afterwards asking what went wrong and how could they rectify. The concierge headed by Elizabeth, went way beyond being just helpful, she basically enabled our holiday. She organised everything off site, including a historic walking tour to St George's, a food tour across the island which included stopping for fresh coconut, snow cones, together with lunch and snacks etc. There is a barbecue but with the best will in the world the food is much better at the hotel. We tried several restaurants, and our preferences were 'Sails' overlooking the water, 'Dexter's' (the ex-Calabash chef's home) and Calabash itself, a totally different experience to Spice Island. If I have left anything out, forgive me. This is a most delightful hotel well worthy of five stars, giving the most relaxing times under a constant 25 to 30 degrees of heat. will we be visiting again? Yes.
Coyaba Beach Resort

Wow, what an incredible hotel and place. Just had 2 weeks at Coyaba where we celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary as well as 2 birthdays. The location of the hotel is superb on one of the best beaches I’ve seen in the Caribbean. The sea water is like pool water, it’s that clear and still. The staff were all fantastic, very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Special mentions to (sorry for any misspellings!) - Kendon, Chad, Anthony, Nevon, Kevon, Roderick, Jamie, Nisha, Cardel, Antonique and Patsy. Another special mention to Paul Lewis (Hotel General Manager) and Vanburn Lewis (Restaurant Manager) who we saw several times throughout our holiday and they always checked we were happy with everything with our stay. I am already considering going back to this hotel again, would highly recommend.
True Blue Bay Resort

I enjoyed the genuine hospitality from the staff, the food, and the evening entertainment from True Blue Bay Resort. I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin (General Manager), Alisha (Concierge), and different staff members from Reception, the Rum Shop Bar and the Meet & Greet reception. The property is very charming with a boutique, multiple pools, a turtle viewing section, and a House of Chocolate shop on premises.

Siesta Hotel
4.2/5103 Reviews
What started as a lovely stay at the very highly rated Siesta Hotel, only turned to a nightmare soon after we entered our room. So here’s the list. You have to climb an extremely steep (paved) hill to get to our accommodations. No less than 100m at 14% grade. This, without a cart or vehicle. Then three flights of stairs. That doesn’t bode well for those like myself who have had two hip replacements. That was the least of it. TV didn’t work in the main room. The TV in the bedroom was PPV only. We went to the grocery store to get some food to cook for ourselves as this is advertised as a kitchenette…Except the oven doesn’t work and it will be “tomorrow” before we could get someone to look at it. So sorry for the inconvenience. He did come by. Great guy. Said it needed a new element. Ok. Gonna be a few days. I asked if I could simply go to another room to prepare the pizza and was told they are fully booked. There is no possibility of that being true. They MAY be 1/4 booked. And that’s a stretch. If they are completely booked, the people in their rooms have slept for days without coming outside. No one at the pool. No one at the restaurant. No one walking around the property. But they are fully booked. 👀 The window in the main room has no curtain with complete view to the inside of the room…especially after dark. The window in the bathroom is the same. The room comes with two beautiful balconies. That would be great if it was not for the AC unit fan installed on the deck which creates heat, dripping water, and noise. If you want to enjoy the view, do so from inside with the sliding glass door closed. The exterior door only has a standard door knob lock. No deadbolt for extra security. Did they even think this through? Could not possibly be more disappointed in this property, its staff at the time of our stay, and the management. Serious consideration was given to moving to another location altogether. Had we not already paid for the two night stay, we would have. All in all, we made the best of an absolutely pitiful situation. Cheers.

We were not due to stay here, but due to the Coronavirus restrictions forcing us to cut short a stay on Carriacou, we stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was a little apartment with a kitchen, sitting area, dining table, bedoroom and bathroom. The hotel is on the road to the airport so there is traffic passing by all the time, but we didn't really notice it being invasive. The place was just right for our stay - waiting 2 days for our flight home. We were the only people staying there at the time, so started our self-isolation round the pool. This had nice loungers with comfy cushions on, and a sun shaded area with a nice breeze. It is on a steep slope so I would not class it as wheelchair friendly or for anyone with mobility problems. Our daily work out was walking up and down the slope to the pool which is at the top of the property. The restaurant was shut (as everywere on Grenada) but they cooked us breakfast which we ate in our room. In the evening we went and got a take away from the nearby Pun-jabi restaurant (see separate review). We had a friendly little Gecko staying with us in our bedroom who we named Trevor. He seemed to barely move at all, but I entertained myself with thoughts that while we slept he raced round the room doing circuits. The bed was large and very comfy. they had 2 enormous double wardrobes in the room containing about 4 hangers. This wasn't a problem for us as we lived out of our packed bags. I would imagine it's not the sort of place where you stay for a long time anyway. AC in the room was very effective. No ceiling fan. The shower looked old (a fixed head coming out of the wall) but it was fabulous. Lovely hot water and a decent pressure. Nice towels, and the pool towels were nice quality too. Difficult to tell what it would be like normally, but this place served it's purpose for us very well. The reception staff were very nice and helped as much as they could in the circumstances.
