Hotel is super pretty with very scenic views and the Panmen garden is not as crowded as humble admin so u get to enjoy the view and vibes minus the crowd. Was a gd throw in for the hotel to provide the Hanfu + Qipao experience as well but clothing choices for the free experience is v limited. Notwithstanding, i was extremely appalled by the subpar service attitude from the staff, esp coming from a Pan Pac hotel. Needed some help with ordering food on Dianping so I called the operator if they could provide me with a local number to key in.. staff was extremely rude and told me that I had to go to the front desk to get assistance. When I requested for assistance over the phone bcos the room is an 8-min walk away from the front desk, she snapped at me and told me that its not far as my room is on the same floor as the front desk. Eventually went to the front desk to seek assistance and told the staff to deliver the food to me when it reaches but staff did not end up delivering the food. Had to go to front desk yet agn to pick up the food after 20 mins of waiting but it was a complete mess at the pick up with many parcels strewn everywhere and food deliveries all over. Requested for assistance agn but staff just snatched my phone and impatiently clicked away and directed me out to collect the food. Staff from the retail shop selling jewelry/art pieces was also very stuck up n insinuated that we cannot afford to purchase her products as they are v ex. I've stayed at Andu before and really loved its location right by the food street. The accommodation experience was also great, which is why I came back this time. Before arriving, I wanted to check the breakfast information. I noticed several platforms didn't describe it much, so I'll write about it now~ If you book Andu through Ctrip, you can use points to redeem for breakfast. I redeemed one day's worth this time. There's a good variety, and the taste is actually very good. Several of the hot dishes were delicious, unlike some hotels where they just put out whatever. In particular, the coffee tasted excellent; the beans weren't acidic, which I prefer. The room was also very clean, and the separate wet and dry areas were very convenient!

The newly renovated Jinling Tower at Jinling Hotel is a prime example of an established five-star hotel. Both the hardware facilities and the service truly live up to its reputation. The hotel's location is excellent, making parking and access very convenient. The lobby is grand and impressive, and the guest rooms are meticulously clean with a logical layout and comprehensive amenities. Front Office Manager Xing Yang was attentive and enthusiastic, and floor attendant Li Hong was thoughtful and thorough. I initially booked this hotel purely for shopping convenience, but after checking in, I found it incredibly comfortable and felt I got an amazing value. I'll definitely return next time. I highly recommend the hotel's Meiyuan restaurant for its authentic cuisine and excellent service; just be sure to book in advance. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, though I suggest expanding the variety of stir-fried dishes. The executive lounge on the 57th floor of the Asia Pacific Tower offers beautiful views, but it would be great if the exterior windows could be kept cleaner to enhance the photo experience. It's truly commendable that a decades-old five-star hotel like Jinling Hotel can maintain such high standards. I look forward to staying at Jinling Hotel again on my next trip to Nanjing.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location. UniPark is nearby, offering plenty of dining options. You can easily walk or take public transport directly to Shiquan Street for a pleasant city walk. Both bus stops and subway stations are conveniently close, and getting to Jinji Lake by metro is also very convenient. Suzhou University (Suda) is in the vicinity, making it a great option for families with high school-aged children. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively called us beforehand to provide important travel tips. Any requests we had were promptly addressed. Upon check-out, they even thoughtfully prepared cooling patches for the children and provided complimentary drinking water.

A friend of mine visited Nanjing and booked this hotel online, drawn by its excellent location. They confirmed its prime spot after checking in. As it was my first stay here, I found the overall experience to be great. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to a subway station, and taxis are easily accessible. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms were spotless, and the service was top-notch.

It was a very pleasant family trip; both the seniors and the kids were very happy, saying they want to come again next time! The hotel is very new and clean, with no formaldehyde smell. The courtyard room is spacious, and the tatami mat setup made us feel very secure with the kids, no worries about them falling off the bed. The front desk staff, both the lady and the gentleman, provided excellent service, and the souvenirs they gave us were also lovely!

Great value for a 5-star hotel! Rooms are spacious and decor is nice, the included buffet breakfast offers a lot of variety and is tasty. The hotel is located right behind the Nanjing Museum, is “close” to the Ming Tombs, and is close to the Ming Koo Kung subway station which provides easy access to many sights in Nanjing. There is even a street food bazaar right next door! The only downside of this hotel is that it does not offer a free laundry room.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right in Wuxi's bustling commercial district. Suning Plaza is directly downstairs, and Henglong Plaza and Pacific Department Store are both less than a ten-minute walk away. The hotel facilities are superb, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I even received a room upgrade, and the night view was spectacular, overlooking the city center's high-rises. The service was also excellent. I had lost an item and asked housekeeping for help; frankly, I didn't have much hope. But amazingly, they found a tiny gold piece, smaller than a fingernail! This truly speaks to the housekeeping staff's dedication and responsibility. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

For my trip to Suzhou, I chose the Crowne Plaza after seeing many recommendations online. It definitely lived up to its online reputation; the lake view was absolutely stunning. Upon entering the lobby, you're immediately greeted by a panoramic and absolutely gorgeous lake view. The hotel's decor is also very grand and impressive. Its overall architecture, resembling a cruise ship, is truly unique. What's particularly worth praising is the hotel's breakfast. The restaurant is very spacious and located right by the lake, offering fantastic views. Plus, the breakfast spread is incredibly rich and diverse, with so many options to choose from. The complimentary travel photoshoot from 'Seven Degrees' (七度旅拍) offered by the hotel was a pleasant surprise and quite good. The photographer was very dedicated and professional, and I was also very pleased with how the photos turned out. Highly recommended!

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby. The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt. The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone. The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

AArdent travellerWe had a room facing a small but beautiful courtyard. The hotel is located smack in the heart of Pingjiang pedestrian Road which is of cobbled stone. Hotel staff are most willing to assist those travelling with many luggages (and myself with an octogenarian), it is located between Tongli bridge and Chaohuxu Lane/ bridge. (depicted in photos). Fresh and sweet cherry tomatoes are always ready by the frontdesk - pop a few in the mouth any time to guench thirst.

SshawolTLDR: It’s a livable hotel if you’re not too fussy—after all, it’s just a place to stay. But you can find similar hotels at lower prices. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I had no other choice (at least it's not a ”never again”). ✅ Super close to the metro, on the same street and less than a 2-minute walk. Extra convenient if you’re hauling luggage around. ✅ Located between Guan Qian Street and Ping Jiang Road, both attractions are just a 10-minute (or less) walk away. ✅ Free snacks, ice cream, and drinks are available in the lobby. The hotel has some entertainment and game facilities, but I didn’t use them. 🤨 There are two washers and two dryers, but they get busy at night when everyone’s back at the hotel. You might have to hang around and wait your turn, unless you do your laundry at odd hours. Additionally, I did notice hotel staff using the washer even with guests waiting for their turn, but the staff restarted the wash / dry cycle—so the timer just kept renewing instead while guests are waiting. I’m not saying they shouldn’t use the machines as I underatand the front desk is 24/7, but it would be much appreciated if they use it during off peak hours, or at least to not renew the cycle even when guests are waiting. Plus point that its’s convenient if you’re staying on the first floor since the washer and lobby are on the same level. 🗑️ You can have online orders or parcels delivered to the hotel while you’re out, but there’s no designated spot for them. Usually, they just leave everything by or on top of the rubbish bin in the lobby. 🤔 There’s daily housekeeping, and they provide fresh slippers and bottled water every day. Though the amount of water doesn’t always match the number of people staying in the room. ✅ I liked that the sink, toilet, and shower areas are all separated. The shower is pretty small though—just enough to turn around—so it might be a tight squeeze for a Westerner. They could probably make it roomier by taking some space from the toilet area. 😕 You can order a DiDi to pick you up right at the hotel’s doorstep, but in reality, drivers often grumble that you should head to the main street instead. Some will just stop there outright, so you’ll end up walking to meet them—even though the pickup point is technically right in front of the hotel. This is because the hotel’s street is considered part of either Guan Qian Street or Ping Jiang Road, both of which are packed with pedestrians. And with its close proximity to major attractions, you might also get stuck in traffic when heading out or coming back. 🗻 There’s no elevator for rooms above the first floor, so you’ll need to take the stairs. Not sure if they accommodate requests for first-floor rooms for travelers who have difficulty with stairs. ♨️ Not sure if it’s because of summer, but the hotel lobby didn’t seem air-conditioned — or if it was, the cooling was pretty weak. 😟 The hotel is a bit dated, though generally clean. You can still spot some moldy areas, and the rooms have a musty smell with poor ventilation. I didn’t even want to touch the walls / glass of the shower. The floor has some dents and uneven spots. 👎 Their rating is pretty high, but that’s probably because staff ask for a 5-star review right on the spot during check-out—for me they literal stood beside me and watched my screen. There’s definitely pressure to give a full star rating. You can choose not to go along with it, but I still felt the pressure, which I didn’t like—so that’s a minus for me. Especially since I don't think it deserves full stars in the first place and wasn’t sure if I could edit my review afterward, that made the whole experience even more uncomfortable.

GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations. We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby. We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed. Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel. This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance. We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again. Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed. When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet. Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

11595191****Located in the Science and Technology City of Suzhou High-tech Zone, the surrounding area integrates the elements of ”technology, landscape, and humanities” and is close to an artificial lake. The environment is quiet and suitable for vacation. The hotel is close to Taihu Avenue and has convenient transportation, but the business atmosphere in the Science and Technology City area is relatively quiet, and you need to travel a short distance to nearby commercial entities. With environmental protection, natural landscape and family-friendly facilities as its core advantages, Element Suzhou is suitable for tourists seeking a quiet vacation or a short business trip. Its kitchen configuration and parent-child services are particularly outstanding, but improvements need to be made in terms of spraying less air freshener and surrounding convenience.

They are soft-padded and the children like them very much. The outdoor environment is particularly good, with a small train, a cruise ship, and a children's play area. The scenic area is relatively large, and the room service is also great. You can call the front desk at any time to arrange a sightseeing bus to pick you up.

GGlenysMGreenTree Inn, Jurong (Jiangsu Province) is an oldie but a goody! I stayed there for 5 nights in late August/early September (2025). At first glance I was a bit dubious, but it turned out to be a really great place to stay. I felt very safe there and in the neighbourhood (day and night) and would stay there again. Excellent customer service ..… the Reception and cleaning staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The first room I was allocated smelt of cigarette smoke (no thank you!), but I was immediately moved into a nicer smelling room, which was absolutely spotless, quite large, and had a nice new smart tv, air con, an opening window with a flyscreen and security bars (essential for a ground floor room), nice solid furniture, pure white linen (impressively imprinted with “GreenTree Inn”) and a clean, comfy doona and pillows. A standard hard’ish Chinese bed, but I find them quite comfy. The old carpet runner along the length of the long ground floor hallway (where my room was) is a relic from way back when, but it was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel that I could see. The shower head needed fixing, but that’s an annoyingly common problem in pretty much every budget > mid range hotel I’ve ever stayed in, in China. The hotel is only about 20 metres from Jurong Chongming Subway Station. Local bus stop almost at the front door (& across the road). The entrance to the old cobbled road (no cars allowed) & all its little shops is across the road at the lights, and a large pharmacy at the entrance (near the “archway”). Electric scooters galore to hire (via the AliPay or WeChat apps) outside the subway. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance once you get past the trades shops (plumbing supplies etc). My only gripe about GreenTree Inn Jurong (& this is a gripe I have for many hotels etc throughout China) is that smoking is allowed on the premises. I think it’s the worst it’s been since 2002 when I first started travelling to China. It’s awful walking into foyers and lifts that reek of cigarette smoke, and copping wafts of the smoke along hallways from smokers in their rooms (& ashtrays at lift entrances), and horrible arriving tired after a long flight and long trek from airports etc, only to discover you then have to request a room change to escape the smoke, and start all over again. No matter how accommodating the staff are, I could easily do without that hassle and the horrible smell. In my opinion, hotels etc in China need to up their game where that’s concerned, and follow the lead of the many countries which have banned cigarette smoking in all public buildings (including hotels), all public indoor and outdoor spaces, anywhere near children and shopping centres, on and near public transport etc etc etc.
