Osaka… The city I fell in love with from the first step Osaka is a city full of life, fun and cuteness that makes my heart swell. Every time I visit here I feel like I'm meeting old friends who welcome me with big smiles and genuine Japanese warmth. This is a city that combines fun and warmth perfectly, whether it's food, shopping, or the atmosphere full of smiles from the people. ⸻ Easy to travel… Easy to travel Traveling in Osaka is very convenient! I use the ICOCA card With a single top-up, I can ride the train and buses all over the city. The train stations have clear English signs, and the navigation app also helps me not get lost. It feels like I can travel around this city in a relaxed manner without worrying about transportation. ⸻ Osaka food… Delicious enough to melt your heart Osaka is known as the “Kitchen of Japan”. Here are many delicious foods that I love. Let's start with takoyaki Round balls with a crispy outside and soft inside, filled with fresh squid Topped with a sweet and salty sauce and mayonnaise, so delicious that you can't stop. Next is okonomiyaki, or Japanese pizza, with soft dough, mixed with fresh vegetables and meat, topped with a special sauce and mayonnaise. Very delicious and heartwarming Kushikatsu, deep-fried skewers, crispy outside, soft inside, dipped in a special sauce, so delicious that you have to ask for two or three more skewers of fried food. The desserts are also great. The sweet and creamy green tea soft cream and Japanese crepes with fresh fruit and whipped cream, soft and fluffy with every bite, make me smile every time I try it. ⸻ Super cute shopping and cafes Shinsaibashi and Americamura are my favorite shopping areas. I strolled around Don Quijote, which has cute items and unique sweets. Each cafe in this area has a different style and theme, super cute. Some use sweet pastel colors, while others are decorated in cute vintage styles. I like to sit and sip green tea with fresh fruit cake in a small, quiet shop. It's a moment that makes my heart calm and swell incredibly. ⸻ Dotonbori… Unforgettable neon lights and laughter At night, Dotonbori shines with colorful neon lights reflecting on the water in the canal. I strolled along the canal with hot takoyaki in hand and took pictures with the giant Glico sign, which is a symbol of the city. The atmosphere here is filled with laughter and smiles from people of all ages. It makes me feel like I am in a world full of happiness and warmth. ⸻ Quiet parks and shrines Even though Osaka is a bustling big city, there are still quiet parks and shrines where I can relax. I like to walk in the shady parks, listen to the birds singing, and stop by the original shrine to pray. I feel calm and filled with positive energy. ⸻ Impressions that fill my heart Osaka taught me that happiness does not have to be big. Just walking slowly, eating delicious food, and exchanging smiles with strangers can fill my heart incredibly. I love Osaka in its natural and lovely way without any pretense.
