Osaka Travel Review: A Cute and Fulfilling Experience 💕

Hello everyone~ Today, Boom is taking you on a trip to Osaka, the charming city in Japan! I just visited recently and can’t wait to share my wonderful experiences with you. From food, sightseeing, shopping, to the warm hospitality of Osaka locals, this city has it all. Osaka is truly captivating and incredibly easy to explore. ⸻ Getting to Osaka We flew directly from Bangkok to Kansai International Airport. The airport is stunning, located on an island in the middle of the sea. The excitement starts as soon as you land! Getting from the airport to the city is super convenient. We took the Haruka Express train to Osaka, which only took about 50 minutes. The ride was comfortable, and the views along the way were breathtaking—blue skies and the sea, just like a scene from a Japanese movie. ⸻ Adorable Accommodation in Namba We chose to stay in Namba, a popular area for tourists in Osaka. It’s very convenient, close to train stations, delicious eateries, and great shopping spots. The hotel we picked was modern, cute, clean, and fully equipped with amenities. Best of all, it was reasonably priced. ⸻ Must-Try Foods in Osaka 🍡🍜 Osaka is known as the "Kitchen of Japan" because the food here is absolutely delicious. You can eat all day without getting bored. 1. Takoyaki Takoyaki are round balls made from batter mixed with octopus, topped with sweet sauce, mayonnaise, and dried fish flakes. Bite into one, and the flavorful broth bursts out—so tasty! We had them at Dotonbori Street, where there are plenty of stalls to enjoy while strolling. 2. Okonomiyaki This Japanese pancake is made with cabbage, pork, shrimp, and squid, cooked hot and fresh, then topped with sauce and mayonnaise. Every bite is delightful. 3. Kushikatsu These are skewered and fried goodies, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Options include pork, shrimp, and mushrooms, served with a special dipping sauce—absolutely delicious. 4. Sushi and Sashimi At Kuromon Market, you’ll find a wide variety of fresh sushi and sashimi. The freshness and sweetness make you feel like you’re standing in the ocean. 5. Ramen The ramen here is amazing. My favorite is the pork bone broth ramen, with chewy noodles and rich, flavorful soup. ⸻ Top Attractions in Osaka 🏯✨ Osaka Castle A must-visit landmark! This grand and beautiful castle is surrounded by a spacious park filled with trees. It’s stunning in both spring and autumn. We visited during cherry blossom season, and the atmosphere was magical. The photos turned out gorgeous. Dotonbori A famous area for shopping and delicious food. The neon signs, especially the iconic giant crab, are a must-see. Strolling, taking photos, snacking, and playing games here is so much fun. Shinsaibashi A long shopping street featuring fashion brands and cute souvenir shops. You can shop to your heart’s content and lose track of time. Universal Studios Japan If you love theme parks, this is the place to be. It features attractions like Harry Potter, Minions, and more. You can enjoy yourself all day long. ⸻ Warm Hospitality of Osaka Locals 💖 The people here are incredibly kind. When we asked for directions, they smiled and helped us willingly. It felt so warm, like visiting a friend’s home. ⸻ Summary of the Osaka Experience Osaka is a city full of charm, offering everything a traveler could wish for—beautiful attractions, delicious food, cute shopping spots, and friendly locals.
