Today, Boom will take you on a journey to Osaka, a city brimming with charm, vibrancy, and incredibly delicious food. If you're planning a trip to Japan, don't miss Osaka! This city truly has it all—classic culture, cutting-edge modernity, and mouthwatering cuisine. Plus, getting around is super convenient. Today, Boom is excited to share a travel experience filled with smiles and delightful moments at every step. ⸻ Day 1: Arrival at Kansai Airport – Exploring Dotonbori with excitement After landing at Kansai International Airport, Boom felt incredibly excited because this was the first time visiting Osaka! Getting into the city was super easy. Boom chose to take the JR Kansai Airport Rapid train, which took about 50 minutes to reach JR Namba Station, a popular area for shopping and dining. As soon as stepping out of the station, Boom encountered "Dotonbori," a lively area filled with neon lights, restaurants, and vibrant signs. Strolling around, Boom found a takoyaki shop with a long queue and couldn't resist trying it! The takoyaki was freshly made, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with fresh octopus filling, topped with sweet sauce and mayonnaise. It was so delicious that Boom couldn't stop eating! Not far away, there was the iconic giant Glico sign, a landmark of Dotonbori. Boom didn't miss the chance to take a photo with this famous spot, a must-visit for all tourists. Seeing it in person was truly thrilling. ⸻ Day 2: Universal Studios Japan – Fun that makes you forget fatigue! On the second day, Boom woke up early to visit Universal Studios Japan (USJ), a theme park that will make anyone go "Wow!" Boom started at the Harry Potter zone first because of being a true fan! The atmosphere here was incredibly realistic, with Hogwarts village, a grand castle, trees, and tea shops with the delightful aroma of butter cake. Walking around felt like stepping into the movie itself. Next was the Super Nintendo World zone, filled with vibrant colors and adorable Mario-themed games. Boom tried various rides that made it feel like being inside a video game world—so much fun! And that's not all! Boom also tried Mario-themed snacks that were so cute it was almost hard to eat them, but they were so delicious that Boom couldn't resist finishing them all. Truly delightful! ⸻ Day 3: Relaxed shopping at Shinsaibashi and enjoying the view at Umeda Sky Building On the third day, Boom opted for a relaxed day strolling around Shinsaibashi, a trendy shopping district. This area has everything from clothing stores to cute cafes and souvenir shops. Boom stopped by a small coffee shop with adorable latte art, sipping hot coffee with sweet treats—pure bliss! In the evening, Boom went up to the Umeda Sky Building, a tall structure with a 360-degree observation deck offering panoramic views of Osaka. During sunset, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic. Boom highly recommends visiting this spot when in Osaka—it’s guaranteed to leave a lasting impression. ⸻ One-day trip to Kyoto: Fushimi Inari Shrine and Gion District Since Osaka is close to Kyoto, Boom decided to take a one-day trip there. The first stop was Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of red torii gates. Walking through the gates felt like being in a Japanese fairy tale. Next was a stroll through the Gion District, an old area that beautifully preserves the traditional Japanese atmosphere. Boom saw geishas or maikos in kimono walking by, adding to the serene and romantic vibe. ⸻ Kuromon Ichiba Market: A paradise for seafood lovers Before leaving Osaka, Boom visited Kuromon Ichiba Market, a fresh market filled with seafood and delicious snacks. Boom tried giant sushi, sweet grilled shrimp, and grilled scallops. This place is perfect for seafood lovers like Boom—so satisfying that Boom almost rolled back to the hotel! ⸻ Tips for traveling in Osaka • Get an ICOCA card or JR Pass for convenience. • Wear comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of walking. • Use a translation app for menus or signs you can’t read. • Don’t miss trying takoyaki and okonomiyaki. • Buy USJ tickets in advance to reduce waiting time. ⸻ Final impressions Osaka is a warm, fun-filled city with smiles everywhere.
