We spent 5 days and 4 nights here, and every single day was packed with charm and excitement 🌟. ⸻ 🛬 Day 1: Touchdown in the Land of the Rising Sun! Osaka, here we come! We landed at Kansai Airport, feeling a bit dizzy from the time adjustment but utterly thrilled by the cool and refreshing air. Taking a deep breath, we exclaimed, “This is it… my Japan~” 🇯🇵✨. After clearing immigration, we hopped on the Nankai Airport Express to Osaka city, which took only about 40 minutes. Once we arrived at our hotel in the Namba area, we dropped off our bags and immediately set out to explore because our hearts couldn’t wait! 🎒💨 ⸻ 🍡 Day 2: Exploring Dotonbori - A Foodie’s Paradise! We woke up feeling refreshed thanks to the super comfy bed! Starting the day with a bowl of rice topped with raw egg and hot miso soup—it was so delicious we wished we could eat ten more bowls 😳. Then, we headed to Osaka’s bustling landmark: Dotonbori 🎉. This place is heaven for food lovers, with rows of amazing eateries! From takoyaki, caramelized fried bananas, grilled eel rice bowls, to the famous giant crab at Kani Doraku—everyone has to snap a photo with the moving crab logo 🦀📸. As we strolled around, we spotted the iconic Glico Man sign standing proudly by the Dotonbori canal. Of course, we had to mimic the pose with arms raised high, shouting internally, “Victory is within reach!” ✌️ ⸻ 🎢 Day 3: Universal Studios Osaka - A Magical Day 🪄✨ The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly today! We set off early to Universal Studios Japan (USJ), armed with pre-purchased tickets and Express Passes to skip the long lines (totally worth it!) 🎟️. For Harry Potter fans, dreams come true here in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It felt like stepping into a magical realm, complete with Hogwarts castle, pumpkin juice shops, Hippogriff-shaped buns, and the incredible Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride that left us screaming with joy! But that’s not all—we also enjoyed Jujutsu Kaisen the Ride, the newly opened Super Nintendo World (adorably whimsical, like being inside a Mario game 🍄), and the cheerful Minion zone that made us want to hug every single one of them! 💛 ⸻ 🛍️ Day 4: Shopping Spree at Shinsaibashi & Amerikamura Today was all about shopping! We started at Shinsaibashi-suji, a shopping street filled with everything from Japanese to international brands, plus countless cute cafes. There were adorable clothing and shoe stores with affordable prices 👗👟. Next, we moved to Amerikamura (Amemura), a hip area reminiscent of Harajuku in Osaka. It’s filled with building murals, themed cafes, and fashion-forward Japanese teens that made us feel like our outfits were way too basic 😅. Before heading back to the hotel, we stopped by Don Quijote (Donki) to grab some souvenirs. The variety of Japanese snacks was overwhelming—Hokkaido milk pudding, matcha-flavored biscuits, assorted mochi, and tons of cosmetics that will surely wow your friends back home 💄🍬. ⸻ 🏯 Day 5: Wrapping Up at Osaka Castle & Goodbye, Beloved Japan The final day came with a bittersweet feeling. After checking out, we stored our luggage and headed to Osaka Castle, one of the city’s iconic landmarks. The castle is grand and stunning, especially during spring or autumn when the atmosphere is incredibly romantic 🍁🏯. We climbed up to enjoy the view and relaxed in the surrounding park, where elderly couples picnicked and children played—such a heartwarming scene 💗. Before leaving, we picked up our luggage and took the train back to Kansai Airport, our hearts filled with wonderful memories and cameras loaded with adorable photos 📸💕. ⸻ Final Thoughts 🥹✨ Osaka is a city brimming with charm—its people, food, attractions, lively yet peaceful vibe, and unexpected warmth that you wouldn’t expect from a foreign country.
