Amenominakanushi no Kami Takamimusubi no Kami Kamimusubi no Kami The three deities are collectively called, and are considered the parents of all the gods in Japanese mythology. 　 Samuhara Okami was originally enshrined in the grounds of Kotohira Shrine in Nakahara, Kamo-machi, Okayama Prefecture, but fell into disrepair. It was rebuilt in 1946 by Tanaka Tomisaburo (a native of Nakahara), a pioneer in the fountain pen industry. In 1950, it was built next to Toyokuni Shrine in Nakanoshima, Osaka City. The shrine was later moved to its current location due to the expansion of Osaka City Hall. "Samuhara" has long been used as a talisman to protect the body. It is said that when Kato Kiyomasa invaded Korea, he escaped because he had the sacred character "Samuhara" carved into his sword! Finger rings engraved with "Samuhara" are very popular, and due to the overwhelming demand, they are no longer being distributed.
