Summer Trek Through Kamikochi’s Alpine Wonderland

The crisp morning air greeted me as I stepped off the bus at **Kamikochi**, a pristine highland valley nestled in the Northern Japan Alps. The pond was formed a century ago by a volcanic eruption, and the dead trees rising from its surface added an eerie beauty. Further along, I spotted wild **monkeys** foraging near the trail, completely unbothered by hikers. By afternoon, I relaxed at the **Kamikochi Imperial Hotel**, sipping coffee on their terrace with an unbeatable mountain view.
