Military cemetery for solders and prisoners

this is one of the must visit places in Kanchanaburi. this is the last resting place the cemetery for 7000 Dutch and other commonwealth solders including Australian and British prisoners of war while constructing the Burma railway! it is located really close to the railway station, and as our first destination once we got off our bus. the history here is really impressive, and it is one of few cemeteries that were built for foreign soldiers. coming here and walking through the graveyards, it really gives me a mix feeling, and I can feel the horror of the wars. I highly recommend #tripblazers #bucketlistreboot #mytripvlog this place to everyone who comes to this beautiful town
