Wandering Around Sorokdo

#summervacay Spent a day wandering around Sorokdo, it’s peaceful, a little eerie, and super thought-provoking all at once. It’s this tiny island off the southern coast that used to be a leprosy colony, and you can really feel the history as you walk around. The streets are wide and quiet, with old buildings that look frozen in time. Some parts feel like a ghost town, but not in a creepy way, more like the island’s just quietly holding its stories. There’s a museum that explains the island’s past, and it’s heavy but really important stuff. Definitely worth a stop. Nature-wise, it’s beautiful. Calm sea views, trees everywhere, and barely any cars. I walked along the coastal road for a bit and didn’t see a single person, just me, the wind, and some birds doing their thing. It’s not a typical tourist spot, but that’s the charm. Sorokdo’s more about quiet reflection than selfies. Go slow, take it in, and let the island speak for itself.
