Gangjin City Center Adventures

#summervacay Gangjin isn’t flashy, but that’s kinda what makes it awesome. Spent a lazy afternoon just wandering around the city center and honestly? Loved every second. It’s got that small-town charm where everyone seems to know each other, and life moves at a slower, way-more-relaxing pace. There’s a mix of old-school shops, cute cafés, and random little finds (I saw a store that sold only socks?? Iconic). I grabbed a coffee from a cozy spot tucked behind a bookstore and just people-watched for a bit. Zero regrets. The streets are clean, the signs are colorful, and there’s a surprising amount of street art and ceramics nods scattered around, which makes sense, because Gangjin is famous for its celadon. Didn’t expect to learn anything on my stroll, but here we are. If you’re looking for a peaceful break from big-city chaos, Gangjin city center is perfect. Just walk, snack, repeat. It’s the definition of slow travel, and I’m here for it.
