A Day at Baegyangsa Temple

#summervacay Baegyangsa is straight-up magical. Tucked into the mountains in Jeollanam-do, this temple feels like stepping into a painting, especially if you go in the fall when the leaves are doing their dramatic color thing. We didn’t even go there for deep spiritual vibes or anything, but the calm hits you as soon as you walk in. The path leading up to the temple is super peaceful, with a little stream and towering trees that make you forget all your city stress. The temple buildings themselves are beautiful, classic Korean architecture with mountain views in the background. There’s this old bridge that’s insanely photogenic (Instagram heaven), and the whole place just feels timeless. We wandered around slowly, took a million pics, and just chilled. No rush, no pressure. It’s not a huge hike or anything, but you get that fresh mountain air and quiet that makes everything feel lighter. If you need a reset, Baegyangsa’s the move. Peaceful and low-key perfect.
