Sanrahan Pork Restaurant

Sanrahan is located near Buk Elementary School, heading towards the seaside from the old city center. Here, you can enjoy Jeju-raised female pork at an affordable price, and there's a self-service bar where you can freely choose side dishes buffet-style. The restaurant boasts a clean and spacious interior and is conveniently located near Jeju Chilseong-ro, Dongmun Market, and Tapdong Square, making it a great dining option in Jeju City. If you're looking for a recommended local spot, consider Sanrahan. It is situated about a 10-minute drive from Jeju Airport, opposite the Tapdong Central Police Station in Samdo 2-dong, Bukseong-ro. Unique menu items such as Changdorim Grilled Pork, Flower Pork Belly, Flower Bundle, and King Fist Pork are available exclusively here. Sanrahan operates daily from 11 AM to 10 PM, with a break time from 3 PM to 5 PM. During lunch hours, it functions as a buffet where you can enjoy 20 different side dishes for just 8,000 KRW per person. The interior features a large table that can accommodate over 20 people, making it a popular spot for gatherings and company dinners in Jeju City. For groups of 8 or more, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance to avoid long waits. The restaurant offers various side dishes and wraps to pair with the meat, as well as sausages, rice cakes, and onions that can be grilled together on the meat grill. Personally, I enjoyed the grilled sausages and rice cakes, which made for a hearty meal during my visit. The first dish I tried was the Flower Bundle made from Nanchoom Matdon pork shoulder, priced at 5,000 KRW per 100g. The meat cooks quickly on the hot grill, allowing you to enjoy it promptly. Pairing it with various side dishes and wraps provided a satisfying dining experience. Next, I ordered the King Fist Pork, which is aged pork that is pre-grilled for faster cooking. Adding kimchi and onions to the grill enhanced the flavor of the meat, and the sausages made for excellent drinking snacks. The stew I ordered as a side dish was surprisingly generous in portion. After grilling the meat, the stew was placed on the grill, resulting in a richer broth flavor. Packed with tofu, meat, and kimchi, the stew offered great value for money overall.
