Yeontae Man Chinese Restaurant

Yeontae Man is located about a 10-minute drive from Jeju Airport. You can find it by heading east into an alley at the intersection of Jeju City's Jungang-ro Citizen Hall. The restaurant operates from 10:00 AM to 9:20 PM every day except Monday, offering both lunch and dinner. There is a public parking lot nearby, making it convenient for visitors arriving by car. Despite being a popular dining spot near Jeju Airport, there were available seats during dinner time, allowing us to enjoy dishes like Pork Bone Jjamppong and Fish-Flavored Donggu without waiting. At the entrance, there are tables designated for solo diners, providing a quiet space for meals. These tables are managed as reserved seating. The menu includes a variety of dishes such as Jajangmyeon, Ganjajang, Jjamppong, Spicy Pepper Jjamppong, Meat Jjamppong, Pork Bone Jjamppong, Platter Jajang, Jajang Rice, Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Yusanseul Rice. Compared to other Chinese restaurants, the prices are quite reasonable. The restaurant also offers a selection of dishes made with Jeju beef sirloin, including Sweet and Sour Pork, Spicy Fried Pork, Spicy Fried Chicken, Yuringi, Yusanseul, Yangjangpi, Fish-Flavored Donggu, Spicy Stir-Fried Vegetables, Medium Shrimp, Jjamppong Soup, Nurungji Soup, Fried Dumplings, and Flower Buns. You can order according to the number of people in your party. The Pork Bone Jjamppong, priced at 12,000 KRW, is generously portioned and can easily be shared by two people. On a previous visit, I had tried the Mixed Jjamppong, which was delicious. This time, the Pork Bone Jjamppong stood out with its rich and spicy flavor, setting it apart from other Chinese restaurants. Its popularity during dinner hours was immediately understandable. The pork bones in the Pork Bone Jjamppong are served separately, making them easy to eat. The meat is tender from being slow-cooked for hours, and the spicy broth is well-infused, making it a great choice for fans of Gamjatang (Korean pork bone soup). The Fish-Flavored Donggu is a Chinese dish made with shiitake mushrooms, shrimp, and various vegetables seasoned with oyster sauce and doubanjiang. It’s mildly spicy, making it suitable for all ages. Initially served very hot, the Fish-Flavored Donggu revealed its unique charm as it cooled down. The more you eat, the more addictive it becomes, leaving you craving it again later. Yeontae Man, already renowned as a must-visit restaurant near Jeju Airport, is not far from the airport and offers convenient parking.
