My friend recommended this restaurant on Sugar Street in Causeway Bay. The restaurant has a high ceiling, spacious and comfortable. The view from the restaurant is open, overlooking Victoria Park and Victoria Harbour. During lunch, they offer set lunch and noodle bowl options, and we each chose one. The set lunch comes with a choice of salad 🥗 or daily soup. That day, it was pumpkin 🎃 soup, rich, sweet, and smooth. The slow-cooked duck breast was tender and not chewy. The oden 🍢 included lion's head meatballs, Japanese fish balls, konjac, and white radish. My favorite was the white radish, which was tender, not fibrous, absorbed the broth, and was sweet. The noodle bowl resembled an upscale version of cart noodles. The broth options were chicken soup, mild spicy, or spicy. I chose mild spicy, which tasted like Korean spicy 🌶️ noodles. There were over 10 toppings to choose from.
