#summervacay Took on Dutasan thinking it’d be a breezy little hike. Spoiler: it was not. The start felt like a peaceful forest walk, all birds chirping and leaves rustling. Cute. Then the trail flipped the switch, steep climbs, endless stairs, and rocks that really test your balance and dignity. There were moments I questioned my life choices, especially during the uphill slogs, but once I hit the higher ridge, all the pain kind of melted away. The views were stupid beautiful, rolling mountains forever, clouds drifting like they were on vacation too. The top didn’t have a flashy peak sign or anything dramatic, but it felt earned. I sat up there eating crushed snacks, sweating buckets, and feeling like a forest goblin who just conquered something major. Bring water. Bring more water. You’ll need it. Dutasan isn’t a casual stroll, it’s a sneaky beast, but if you’re into earning your views (and maybe sore legs), it absolutely delivers.
