Unique Photo Spot near Corfu's Airport

Corfu International Airport, also known as Ioannis Kapodistrias Airport, is a great place for people who like to watch planes. Its unique location, with a runway mostly surrounded by water, makes it perfect for seeing planes up close. Kanoni Hill is on the eastern side of the airport and runs next to the runway. From this high spot, you can see all the planes moving around. Many visitors enjoy the area near the Monastery of Panagia Vlacherna. The path leading to it is right under where planes fly when they land. This closeness means you can take amazing pictures, as planes are flying right over your head. Another good place to watch planes is the floating bridge that connects Kanoni to Perama. This bridge is for people walking, and it puts you very close to planes as they come in or leave.
