Corfu's Pretty Bella Vista Viewpoint

The Bella Vista Viewpoint is a well-known location on the Greek island of Corfu. It is found on the northwest coast, high above the famous resort area of Paleokastritsa. The viewpoint sits along the road that leads to the mountain village of Lakones, offering visitors a lofty position to look down upon the coast. The name "Bella Vista" is Italian for "beautiful view," which describes the place perfectly. The viewpoint provides wide, sweeping views of the Ionian Sea and the surrounding green landscape. From this high spot, one can clearly see the six small bays that make up the Paleokastritsa area. The turquoise waters of the sea contrast with the dark green hills covered in olive groves and cypress trees.
