I stayed at Novotel Makkah and overall everything was excellent. The only downside is the distance from Masjidil Haram, but the hotel provides a shuttle bus service. However, it’s important to note that the bus should always be on standby at least 30 minutes before prayer time and depart no later than 20 minutes before the adhan.

Unfortunately the cleaning to the room could have been improved upon, quite a lot of dust in the carpet. Disappointed that we were told that we can swap the breakfast with shour at the time of checking to be told no at 3am in the morning and that we had to order breakfast in the room. We ordered American breakfast which consisted of a one egg omelette and two pancakes.

One of the good options to stay in Jeddah that near to train station. Overall, they are good except the way to reach the hotel must only from Abi Dhar Al Giffary street of Naseem district area. It can be a choice if you want to stay near Haramain Express train station

A new hotel, everything is very good, with children, family travel, the environment is the most important, very comfortable. There is also an outdoor swimming pool on the rooftop, which is great and the children are very happy. Also provided drinks from the mini bar

Brown and red stains on the faucet?? Other than that, nice and beautiful location with probably everything you’d want or need for a simple trip. There was noise from a party at night tho, from the bottom of the hotel probably? But thankfully, it wasn’t the complete whole night.

The location is not far from the King's Fountain, which is a 15-minute walk away. The breakfast is good and the gym is great, which is very good for similar hotels. The wifi signal in some rooms is not very good.

The room is large, with floor-to-ceiling windows that can see the temple, swimming pool, and gym. The clerk is very enthusiastic and helps with taxis, invoices, and travel suggestions. All in all, it is a very good hotel. If I have the chance to go there next time, I will choose it again

FFaliqComfortable hotel. Near Masjid Al-Rajhi. Location of the hotel is inside the Haram boundary. A lot of amenities nearby including Danube Supermarket. Shuttle to the Haram is on an hourly basis but sometimes a little bit unreliable.

Amazing
IIntrepid Traveller8This hotel is next level unreal! The pictures of the rooms don't do it justice, it's way better in reality (at least in my case). We booked three rooms for 5 nights in Jan/ Feb 2025, were located in tower 3 - Al Falak Tower in rooms 708/ 6**/6**. The bathrooms were unbelievable, all stunning white marble with some super fancy design, so so amazing, the shower was so big you could fit like 7 people in there, I have never stayed in such a luxury room before. Ceilings are like 4 metres, really unbelievable. The colour palette for the room was muted greys and pastels, it looked very nice, suited the room and location. One thing that would be useful, can the hotel just install a Japanese bidet instead of a separate one, I think it's a waste installing a standalone bidet and the all-in-one bidet toilet is current technology, so it would be useful compared to the current setup (Toto toilet, etc). Now, the sad bit. The distance from the Haram is advertised as not far, and it isn't. But the reality is it's extremely difficult to enter the haram, because of the crowds, it is just heaving. The police close off the haram to outsiders as soon as the adhaan goes, so you can't enter (be aware), and you'll have to pray outside the boundaries of the haram if you are not inside the area before the adhaan (this may be subject to change, and I cannot confirm how they arrange their opening times etc, please confirm on your own travels). Inside the haram, there is ridiculous construction work going on, all entrances are purposefully blocked, so that huge traffic builds up (I remember 10 years ago in 2014 when I stayed at Bai Al Abraaj, you could just walk into the Ma3taf area of the haram in about 5 minutes, now it is impossible. ). I have no idea what the government is doing, but it seems to intentionally be closing off areas to stop people from entering, which is really a shame. It seems that the purpose is that you rather go to all the shops and malls outside the mall, or pray inside your hotel rather than venture out, this seems the goal of the current administration by closing off all entrances, or causing huge areas to be cordoned off so that getting in easily is impossible. I got so sick of the crowds that i ended up not wanting to go into the haram afterwards (the crowds inside are really next level crazy, they will push and drive wheelchairs up your legs and cut you - happened to me but maybe I was just unlucky). The hotel is exceptional and so is the buffet breakfast/ dinner - breakfast is between 90 - 119riyals, and dinner is about 149 riyals. Food is amazing, but it's sad that most people pile their plates with croissants etc, don't take a bite and throw it away, such a shame. I hope the hotel can have signs up to prevent such ridiculous wastage, or at least give this food to the outside poor people.

MMarziraHotel Review: Raffles Makkah Palace My recent stay at Raffles Makkah Palace was absolutely outstanding, offering a seamless blend of luxury, thoughtful touches, and exceptional service that made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the reception team and delighted with a complimentary upgrade upon check-in. The upgraded room was not only spacious with breathtaking views but also impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, reflecting the hotel’s high standards. A special thank you to the reception manager, whose professionalism and welcoming demeanor made the check-in process smooth and set a positive tone for our stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our satisfaction were truly appreciated. One of the thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience was the provision of bath salts, allowing us to unwind and relax after completing Umrah. It was a small but meaningful gesture that added to the overall sense of care. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. The housekeeping team was proactive, consistently checking in to ensure we had enough towels, toiletries, and other essentials, contributing significantly to our comfort. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The breakfast service team was attentive and welcoming, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. They even provided a walk-around tour of the buffet spread, introducing us to the menu and explaining the dishes. The breakfast theme was thoughtfully curated, offering a wide range of delicious options to suit every palate. Desta and Sandhy stood out for their exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs, making us feel truly valued as guests. Hajar also deserves special recognition for her patience and creativity in resolving our requests with practical and thoughtful solutions. The in-room dining team, especially Farouk, provided excellent service. Farouk’s attentiveness and efficiency ensured that every meal was delivered promptly and with care, enhancing our overall experience. Raffles Makkah Palace sets the gold standard for luxury hospitality. With its outstanding service, thoughtful gestures, and exceptional team, it made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah and look forward to returning for another incredible stay.

AAdanaan ChalacholI recently had the pleasure of staying at Swissotel Makkah, and overall, it was a truly comfortable and memorable experience. Check-in Experience: The check-in process was smooth and the staff was warm and welcoming. However, due to the standard 4 PM check-in time, there were long queues at the reception. To avoid this congestion, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to arrange for early check-in, especially during peak seasons. If you’re an Accor member, the experience is even more seamless and rewarding. Ambiance & Cleanliness: From the moment you step into the hotel lobby, you’re greeted with a signature scent that flows throughout the lobby, corridors, and even into the guestroom — creating a consistent sense of calm and cleanliness. The ambiance is elegant and tranquil, offering a relaxing contrast to the bustling surroundings outside. Guestroom Experience: The room was spacious, well-maintained, and the highlight was definitely the breathtaking Kaaba view, which added a deeply spiritual and unique element to the stay. The bed linens were soft and luxurious, ensuring restful sleep. The air conditioning was perfectly calibrated, providing a refreshing escape from the intense heat outside. It made re-entering the room after a long day feel rejuvenating. The room also came equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay: coffee and tea facilities, quality toiletries, and other thoughtful amenities. Hotel Accessibility: A significant advantage of Swissotel Makkah is its location in the Abraj Clock Tower. Unlike many other hotels in the same complex, the lobby is on the ground floor, which means guests can access the rooms directly without switching elevators — a huge plus in terms of convenience. Service & Flexibility: The staff went above and beyond by offering us a late check-out while we waited for our continued stay at Swissotel Al Maqam. This thoughtful gesture truly elevated the experience and showed their commitment to guest comfort. Final Thoughts: Swissotel Makkah combines comfort, excellent service, and unmatched convenience, particularly for pilgrims and visitors seeking proximity to the Haram. Whether it’s the luxurious bed, the iconic view, or the little details that enhance your stay, this hotel delivers on all fronts. I would not hesitate to recommend it and look forward to staying here again.

NNor Huda************* we had a very pleasant stay here in Le Meridien Towers Makkah. It’s not as crowded and the shuttle to Haram is 24/7 with hardly any waiting time when we want to board the bus to and from Haram. We were pleasantly upgraded by the hotel and they even gave us complimentary tea on our first night. As we reached very late at night, I was grateful that I’m able to get some quick snacks for my young child and that the shops remain open then. We didn’t ask for housekeeping to come and clean our rooms but they were attentive and prompt in their service. Insya Allah we may stay here again for our next umrah.
