Mamora Bay was a GREAT experience for us. The location is excellent and the staff are above par. We arrived on a late flight at almost 2:00 in the morning. The staff at Mamora Bay organized a taxi for pick-up and the fellow was there waiting for us (this was after several changes due to a flight cancellation, and communication with staff was timely and clear). The cost for the taxi was a normal rate and not an overpriced rate - according to my cousin who lives there. We had two rooms with two single beds in them. Each room had working air conditioner and the shower had great pressure and hot water. Beds were quite firm, but I have heard that it is the norm. Breakfasts were wonderful and we made our poor server go back repeatedly for more coffees. He always served us with a smile and joked about our love of coffee. Mamora Bay is GREAT VALUE in a GREAT PLACE with GREAT STAFF. I highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in late April 2023. We arrived from Casablanca, by high speed train. The train station, clean and modern, is right across the street from the Hilton Tanger. Upon arrival we were upgraded from a king exec room a to junior suite. Loved the room. It was spacious, big bathroom with separate tub and shower, 2 sinks and bidet. Lots of closet space. Housekeeping brought us extra pillows that we requested. We were on the 8th floor facing the sea so we had a view of the coast. We could see Spain in the distance and the ferry coming and going to the Tangier port. Before going for breakfast we made coffee in the room with the capsules provided. The breakfast buffet is great, lots of variety, eggs on order, hot and cold dishes, Moroccan and Western. The restaurant is on the 15th floor with fantastic views over the beach and the sea. There is a mall attached to the hotel. I bought a nice Tshirt in a ladies shop and we bought some snacks at the supermarket. We walked down to the beach and along the boardwalk area that stretches for a long distance toward the port and further east. It is so clean. Workers regularly clean beaches and streets. You rarely see plastic bottles or wrappers strewn about. We took a taxi to the Medina 2 days in a row and wandered around. One day into the museum. It was okay.

He goes far for his guests and speaks fluent Arabic, French and English. The hotel is tot a Golden Tulip hotel anymore but the service is still great. As an example I needed a top-up prepaid card for my mobile internet services and the crew went out and bought it for me. Every time I come back from outside the doormen welcomes me and the manager is always waving at me. It’s the second time I stayed here with the same experience and in August I will come back again to this beautiful hotel with great staff, spa and swimming pool were you can chill in peace without the noice from a busy city.

This hotel should be a relatively cost-effective hotel. It is close to the seaside and has large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room.

You have to walk several kilometers every day. If you can't get a taxi at the hotel entrance, you can go to the train station to get a taxi. I booked a car from the hotel to Tangier Port, which is 3 kilometers away, and it cost 23 euros. The hotel's taxi is too expensive! When I came from the port, it only cost 6 euros.

The room is super great and is out of our expectations! the facilities are comprehensive and the location is super close to the train station of Tangier! We had two wonderful night at this hotel and it is highly recommended it to you!

Casa Harris one of the best restaurants in Tangier. In terms of vibe, the food and service. My friends and I had had a great tome the music was perfect we could listen to each other and enjoy the wonderful voice singing. I would highly recommend for a great evening between friends, family or colleagues.

Renovations are in progress thus maybe caused the lack of service, had to wait rather long while checking in and in comparison with other moroccan hotels, no welcome drinks or familiarisation was given. There was no rooftop access for any aerial view despite strategically located next to the wonderful beach and nearby all the main attractions of the city. Staffs were friendly though, facilities and maintenance fell short for that last star.

The hotel location was slightly far from the main station which means you need a taxi up down. Facilities are only opened from 9 to 6pm and cleanilness is questionable with flies. Room is ok, spacious but low floor. Hotel has a splendid view of the sea.

During a three-night visit in July, my wife and I were captivated not only by the enchanting charm of Chefchaouen but also by the unique allure of our chosen accommodation. Chefchaouen, with its picturesque blue-painted buildings, is a haven for travelers seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. This quaint city is surrounded by natural wonders, and its rich history is exemplified by attractions like the old mosque, Sabanin, and the neighboring school named after the 18th-century Muslim theologian Soulayman El Hawat. The neighborhood's watermills, notably the hotel's previous incarnation as a watermill, serve as a testament to the city's ancient past. Our chosen abode, Hotel Molino Garden, proved to be a rare gem at the heart of Chefchaouen. Situated on the outskirts of the old city, the hotel's calm ambiance was an oasis within an oasis. The magical garden, a collaborative effort with the neighboring primary school, transported us to a world of serenity. Designed with impeccable taste, the garden featured bamboo trees, goldfish ponds, and an ingenious layout that cocooned us from the city's clamor, while seamlessly connecting us to the majestic mountain backdrop. The hotel's rooms were an embodiment of comfort and history. Our first night was spent in the Garden Room, a cozy apartment with two bedrooms and a living room, all overlooking the captivating garden. Despite the summer heat, the room remained naturally cool, eschewing the need for air conditioning. The second night introduced us to a separate apartment adjacent to the hotel - a meticulously restored old house exuding aesthetics and charm. Once again, the absence of air conditioning was hardly a concern, as the natural ventilation kept us comfortable. Our final night at Hotel Molino Garden saw us in a cozy room on the upper floor, providing a glimpse of the lively alley leading to the hotel entrance. Each accommodation told a unique tale, seamlessly blending modern amenities with the city's rich heritage. No visit to Chefchaouen would be complete without indulging in its culinary delights. With guidance from locals, we embarked on a gastronomic journey. Restaurant Bab Ssour stole our hearts with its delectable local offerings and incredible flavors. The restaurant's two branches, both boasting stunning terraces and panoramic views, were equally enchanting. Another culinary highlight was Restaurant Triana, where a delightful breakfast and a riverside terrace provided an unforgettable dining experience. Although the food was mostly exceptional, a minor hiccup was encountered with the Tira Asada, where the beef's dryness detracted from an otherwise delightful meal. For quick bites and refreshing juices, the main square led us to MIDO's. Their impeccable falafel and warm hospitality made it a go-to spot for rejuvenating snacks.

We stayed here for 2 nights and arrived quite late to check in on the first night. Location- 10/10 In the heart of the Chefchaouen medina. It helps if you use Google maps or you'll definitely get lost. Hotel/Riad - 3/10 This place needs a refurb. It could be that they were going for the traditional riad design but this just seemed like it was designed 100 years ago. Certain parts need an upgrade. Cleanliness wise it wasn't too bad. Although on the first night, there was bad odour coming from the bathroom. Service - 5/10 The owner had bad attitude and just seemed miserable the whole time. Then I realised that's his personality so I don't think he means to be horrible, it's just the way he is. He offered to sell his riad to me, and has plans to relocate. So I think he is just bored and fed up of running his riad. Breakfast - 10/10 Cooked fresh to order. The usual traditional moroccan breads, pastries, spreads and eggs. Value for money - 8/10 Cheap and cheerful. Okay for a very short stay and you don't plan to sit in all day There weren't many other options around as the town itself is very quiet in terms of tourists.

To begin with the staff are really nice, and the location is superb! Just opposite the Kasbah a few meters up a lane, which means a lot in a town so steep and confusing that every meter counts. It also has a nice rooftop with panoramic views. But it could use an upgrade and a lot of cleaning. The aircon was out of order and the window too small to make a difference. There was no hot water, and the water in Chaoen is freezing cold! When we told the guy he suggested we use the common shower. You can get better places to stay for this price, but if a bed with clean sheets and towels is all you’re after, Barcelona is not a bad choice.

We stayed three nights. Everybody at the Maison was polite, helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The rooms are big and very clean, breakfast is excellent, served upstairs on the terrace. The Maison is quite near the Medina, a 10 minute walk. Just perfect for us. There is no lift, but they have a spacious room down stairs. I lost a very small earing during the night and could not find it. I didn't say anything at the reception because it was so small, and with two parts to it, I really didn't think they would be able to find it. When I returned in the evening, I was surprised to see that the lady that had cleaned the room had found the earing, put it together and had left it nicely on a side in the room. So grateful! We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Our first stop in Morocco and it was roof perfect- great location in the Medina, clean, great breakfast at the terrace as described and even provide cold filtered water! Our driver did not drop us off at the right location but Emmad sent someone to help us with our luggage up the stairs. Be sure to contact the riad for directions to avoid climbing the stairs! Communication was easy. Emmad also helped and recommended great drivers and guide for our next leg to Fez and Merzouga- it was extremely helpful especially as we did not have a lot of time and one of us is pregnant. Highly recommended!

We stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour group. Located in the Medina, we walked in from the main road, with our suitcases brought to the hotel by private courier. Otherwise, you’d have to drag your suitcase through the Mattie, hilly Medina streets. Our room was small: room for a very firm queen bed, a bureau and 2 straight backed chairs. Others in our group had much larger rooms. Our small windows faced outside, which meant street noise at night and in the early morning (roosters crowing and call to prayer) but this was fairly minor. Others in our group had windows opening into internal hallways. Cute Moroccan decor. Shower took a long time to warm up. Minor adjustments were needed as it came up to temperature to avoid a scalding. Water pressure was low and varied by water temperature. Good breakfast options: plain omelettes, goat cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumber (both peeled), Moroccan bread.

So hat hat man beim ersten Spaziergang zum Hotel schon einen guten Eindruck von dem außergewöhnlichen Ort. Das kleine Zimmer ist bis auf eine Art billiges IKEA-Blechregal sehr authentisch mit Liebe zum Detailbeingerichtet. Leider ist es im Hotel und um das Hotel extrem laut. Nach einer geführten Tour wollten wir uns am späten Nachmittag gerne auf der schönen Dachterrasse entspannen. Das war wegen der kreischenden Kinder direkt vor dem Haus leider nicht möglich. Wir dachten im Zimmer sei es ruhiger, wurden aber enttäuscht.Es gab über Stunden schreiende, grölende Fußball spielende Kinder. Als die Kinder am späten Abend nur ganz wenig ruhiger wurden, gab es zusätzlich laute Musik und vermutlich nachbarschaftliche Gespräche, die in für Europäer ungewohnter Lautstärke geführt wurden. Als es draußen ruhiger wurde, wurde es im Haus laut. Vermutlich lief ein Fernseher, Radio oder Musikbox. Man hört jedes gesprochene Wort von unten heraufdringen. Als wir dort waren, gab es im Haus einen etwas 5-jährigen Jungen, der vielfach im Trepenhaus hinauf und herunter lief. Respektvolles leises Gehen kannte er nicht. So trug auch er zur Unruhe bei. An Schlaf war nicht denken, nicht mal ruhen war möglich. Erst sehr spät in der Nacht wurde es ruhiger, aber da endete vor dem Morgengrauen die Nacht mit dem Gebetsruf. Für Europäer, die schallisolierte Fenster gewohnt sind, insgesamt eine sehr anstrengende nahezu schlaflose Nacht. Gerne hätten wir mit Kopfhörer einen Podcast gehört, um dem Lärm zu entfliehen, aber bis in unser Zimmer im 1. OG reichte das Wlan-Signal nicht. Freundlich wurde uns Zugang über ein weiteres Netz gewährt. Aber auch da reichte das Signal nicht aus. Da kannten wir aus den anderen Dars und Riads nicht. Wir haben von einem Dienstag auf einen Mittwoch dort übernachtet. Das Wochenende wäre vermutlich noch lauter. Wir würden das Hotel nur für hörgeschädigte und Gehörlose Menschen empfehlen.

Spent a night at Riad Nila, my agency helped me book this place, looking online the rate is ~USD150/night for the room I stayed in. A staff from the riad will come to where cars can stop to help with luggages and show guests to the riad. The location is convenient, only a few mins walk to the main square, the alleyways around the riad is not particularly nice though, there was cat poo and stank of cat pee. Stairs to the rooms are narrow and steep. The room and bathroom are decent size. Everything feel a bit tired and cleanliness can be better. One thing in the bathroom that I noticed which is a little disturbing, there’s a small window facing the opposite building which is quite close, when I was using the toilet I was not sure whether people in the opposite building can see inside the bathroom, I don’t think the window is one way glass, the riad should add privacy film to the window to give guests peace of mind. Got really thirsty before I went to bed and I had finished my own water, bottled water was no provided in the room so I had to get changed and head downstairs. Asked the nighttime staff whether there is somewhere I can buy a bottle of water. He was kind enough to get one from the kitchen, appreciate this, but the riad should really provide this in the room. Breakfast is average. The reception and breakfast areas on the ground floor are lovely but the terrace seems to be very neglected. Staff are friendly and efficient.

What a delightful hotel. The rooms were clean, and a very cute chic decor. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Don’t pass up the local made goat cheese. I slathered it on the local yeast pancakes and topped it with jam… a gourmet delight with a glass of fresh squeezed Moroccan orange juice and a chocolate croissant.
