I took my mother out to play and chose Yamanakako specifically. There were few people and it was quiet to see the red leaves. I stayed for two nights and slept until I woke up naturally. The environment was very good and I could walk out to see the red leaves festival.
The transportation was very convenient. I rented a bicycle from the boss. I rode to Yamanakako on the first day, took the bus to Kawaguchiko at the door on the second day, and continued to ride. On the third day, I rode to Oshino Hakkai. đ
I was too lazy to go to Gotemba, but it was also very convenient after looking at the map. In the evening, I ate the boss's recommended Shoya and the boss's beef hot pot. The boss's wife was very enthusiastic and honest. Next time I bring my baby here to stay and continue to ride a bike. đđ
The room is very Japanese, I like it very much, and it is very quiet at night, which is very suitable for a rest stop during a city transit trip.
The boss is very nice, we can communicate in Chinese, and the local uncle who manages the B&B is also very nice. I was alone that day, and he waited until I came to check in very late.
The room is close to the Yamanakako Plain, and the transportation is relatively convenient. If you go to Tokyo, you can take a bus to Shinjuku here.
Finally, there are three regrets. One is that my phone fell on the way there, and I will not buy a folding screen againđ (the boss is still very active in providing help)
The second is that the B&B seems to have not found a hair dryer, and the supplies can be placed more prominentlyâşď¸
The third is that the restaurant here closes early, but there is an izakaya and 711 next to it.
Very satisfiedâşď¸
Recommend for family or group of friends. The house was clean and warm. The fuji view was really beautiful. The only problem is that there is no automatic toilet đ
Nice cosy hotel. Hotel parking very limited, got to park outside parking, got 1 at 700 yen for night parking 1900-0700. Nice breakfast buffet & ice cream after onsen. Got 2 massage chair, same level as onsen. There's free washing machine usage only beside men onsen so quite inconvenience for ladies to use. Dryer 20mins @100yen.
We were very satisfied with the kids' playroom, which was our main attraction.
It was very spacious and had a wide variety of play equipment, so the kids had plenty of fun from check-in to check-out without getting bored.
In addition, there was a free shuttle to a nearby ski resort in the winter, so it was great that we could easily go out to play in the snow without having to drive.
However, the other selling point, all-inclusive, was a disappointment.
The lounge hours were limited, and there were no lids or trays for drinks, as if they were not expecting people to take drinks back to their rooms.
It is clear that one of the reasons the lounge was crowded was that the usage time was short.
Even at the restaurant buffet, there were no cups to take back to the room.
If the buffet is limited to 60 minutes, I would like you to take your coffee home and relax in your room.
Of course, the refrigerator in the room was empty.
In the end, we had to buy expensive plastic bottles, so it is not inclusive at all.
And there is only one vending machine, which is inconvenient.
Think of the lounge as just a welcome drink.
I would like them to consider changing the label to welcome drinks or making the lounge available at any time.
I felt that the issues mentioned in other reviews,
⢠Long lines at check-in
⢠Luggage carts available on each floor
⢠Bathroom amenities
were addressed by the facility.
Awesome! The hot springs are great! The room is also quite big ~ because there are not many people staying there, it is very good to go to the hot springs, and overall it is very clean!
And the breakfast in the morning is also delicious. The izakaya opposite the dinner is super good and deliciousđ¤¤
Itâs far from the station and I didnât realize it until after I made the reservation.
It is recommended if you are considering driving
Room tidy but shabby
There are many situations where wallpaper is applied with adhesive strips
Courteous service at the counter and excellent service
Because of late check-in, they extended my check-out by one hour.
Hotel Mystays Fuji Onsen Resort offers a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and breathtaking scenery. The highlight is undoubtedly the stunning view of Mount Fuji, visible from many rooms and the open-air onsen, making for an unforgettable experience.
The onsen itself is a must-try, with soothing natural hot spring waters perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The hotel maintains a clean and modern ambiance, with well-appointed rooms that, while not overly spacious, are designed for comfort and functionality.
Service is efficient and polite, with staff always ready to assist despite some language barriers. The breakfast buffet offers a decent variety of Japanese and Western options, fueling guests for a day of adventure. The hotelâs location is ideal for exploring Fuji-Q Highland and nearby attractions, with shuttle services and easy access to public transport.
Overall, itâs a great choice for travelers looking for a relaxing stay with unbeatable views of Japanâs most iconic mountain.
The hotel requires a drive all the way up the hill. Hence, it's not recommended if you are not driving.
Onsen and private baths are the best highlights for this hotel, otherwise the food options were very pricey.
Stayed in a premium twin room and they placed a lamp right next to the mirror door which we accidentally hit and broke it while using the mirror. The hotel wanted to charged 20,000 yen for the accidental damage but we negotiated for a lower fee. Thankfully they accepted in view that we were sincere about paying but not an exorbitant pricing.
Cautious to anyone staying here to look out for breakable furnishing in the room.
Best Fuji View from the room. The room was just nice to fit 2 people with 2 luggage. Hotel breakfast at level 4 also provided the best Fuji View. There are multiple selections at their Japanese buffet breakfast too. The hotel does provide complimentary access to the Onsen next to the hotel. If you drive to the Hotel, can get a complimentary parking ticket from Front Desk. Overall I have enjoyed my stay.

Very Good
GGuest UserMy stay at Hotel Mifujien in Japan was absolutely delightful. The highlight was the stunning view of Mount Fuji from my room, which created a serene and unforgettable experience. The traditional Japanese-style room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and cultural authenticity. The onsen facilities were exceptional, providing a relaxing soak with breathtaking scenery. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Hotel Mifujien for anyone seeking a peaceful and memorable getaway.

PPICHEWA_I arrived at Kawaguchiko Station in the afternoon and decided to leave my luggage at a locker near the station before visiting Oshino Hakkai. I returned to the station around 5 PM to retrieve my luggage and called the hotel to inquire about their FREE Shuttle Bus service. Luckily, I caught the shuttle bus back to the hotel in time. The driver was very polite and helpful, assisting me with my luggage both ways.
The hotel had a nice and standard atmosphere, both inside and out. The staff at the lobby were friendly and spoke excellent English. They were able to provide me with all the information needed.
My room was a 20 square meter Lake View Room with a stunning view of Mount Fuji. It had two single beds, a desk and chairs The entrance had a large mirror and the storage space. Unfortunately, the remaining space in the room was too small to fully open my 28-inch suitcase. Luckily, I was alone, so I used the second bed to store my belongings. The bathroom was small but well-equipped with a shower, bathtub, and an automatic toilet.
The onsen was located on the 6th floor and was divided into male and female sections. It was clean and spacious. However, around 8-10 PM, it got quite crowded. If you're not accustomed to this culture, you might want to visit during the morning. (Operated Time : 3PM-2AM & 5-10 AM)
The hotel restaurant offered a variety of dishes. I checked the menu and decided to purchase a dinner coupon at the lobby. The dinner buffet was served from 6-9 PM. Breakfast (7-9AM) was included in my package and was slightly different from dinner. Overall, the food was decent but not exceptional. I recommend arriving early for dinner to avoid the crowds.
Key Points:
- The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service every 30 minutes between the hotel and Kawaguchiko Station.
- There are no convenience stores near the hotel. The hotel's convenience store has limited options.
- There is only one restaurant near the hotel, and it's only open for lunch. If you don't have a car, your dining options are limited to the hotel's buffet or instant ramen (from hotel's convenient store at Lobby 1st floor).
GGuest UserThe hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!
GGuest UserIt is very nice hotel, good facilities, nice view, clean and good mind good service of reservations. They have break time for snack, tea, coffee and good breakfast buffet. There is confortable to walk from bus station around 1 km and near ropeway Kawaguchiko only 10 meters and also near Kawaguchiko Lake. You can have activities with your family such as pedaling duck boat, ride a bicycle.
LLinerGood service and location near the station with free parking a short distance in front of the ryokan, ryokan comes with a public bath where all guests must pay a small fee regardless if you are using it or not. 1 small weird detail is that in order to use the hot water for the room shower, the water taps at the basin need to be turned on towards the hot temperature and wait for a while before the shower has hot water.
GGuest UserI was very satisfied with every aspect of my stay. Â Hotel interior was beautiful and pictures canât do justice to how amazing the views of Mt. Fuji were. Â Service was incredible and the in room dinner was amazing. Â Would definitely come back for another stay.
GGuest UserThe scenery outside the hotel is very beautiful. There is a Family Mart next to it where you can buy food. The hotel dinner is highly recommended. The boss speaks Chinese and communication is very convenient. Although there is no hotel connection, it is very suitable for self-driving tours. You can park in front of the hotel
AAnonymous UserThe room is so big. Grand Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko offers stunning views of Mount Fuji and a serene atmosphere. The spacious rooms are elegant, blending modern comforts with traditional Japanese design. The onsen facilities are relaxing, and the staff provides excellent hospitality. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Kawaguchi and its surroundings.
