In the city center, the famous lake, it will take about 10 minutes to walk to the concert hall. Lived on the third floor spire. The room is big in Iceland. There is a small balcony. The Italian restaurant downstairs is quite delicious.
Was a great hotel fir for purpose - staff couldn’t be more happy to help with an questions. The walls are a little thin so just be aware of that but for the price we really couldn’t complain it was perfect.
The hotel staffs were very welcoming and hospitality. We feel really good when we arrived at the hotel and even during departure. Breakfast spread was small but great. We had a warm and nice breakkie. The room is very cosy. The bed was very soft and springy! The blanket was just nice, very warm and comfortable. How we wish we could bring home. Haha. The price was also worthwhile. ✌🏻
Fabulous 👌
Easy to check-in.
Good kitchen, wish it had washing/drying machine.
Shower curtain could be better but overall good enough.
Parking not as easy as I wish but still managed to get it.
Got a Nice and quite area A+
Location is very good. Walking distance to all places.
Rooms are small but ok.
We stayed 3 nights. First night we arrived 2 am and was put in a strange room in the next adjacent building which had no elevator to join. We had big bags traveling from very far to reach Iceland.
Immediately I notified trip.com assistant and also ask to change room which was done next morning. Thank you to the hotel & trip.com
The reception staff was very nice and helpful
Breakfast was good enough

If you’re looking for a cozy spot in Reykjavik, this hotel is a gem! It’s clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located for exploring the city. The staff? Absolutely brilliant! They’re welcoming, attentive, and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
And let’s talk breakfast—what a spread! The variety is fantastic, ensuring you start your day off right. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in and out of Reykjavik. You won’t be disappointed!
Nice hotel. Very stylish exterior. The hotel is very conveniently located on the way from Keflavik Airport to Reykjavik. We stayed the day we arrived in Iceland and the last two days after traveling around the island before returning home. Good breakfast. It is very important that there is a restaurant that is open from 18:00 to 22:00, because in Iceland finding food after 17:00 is another challenge... Free parking. There is a supermarket nearby (500 meters on foot). The Airport-Reykjavik bus stop is also near the hotel (50 meters) for those who do not rent a car. Highly recommend if you are happy with the price of this hotel when booking!
On the downside, the tap water smells like sulfur, but this is Iceland - a country of geothermal springs!))
P.S. the hotel has a free swimming pool with geothermal warm water + sauna for visitors. They work until 22:00.
The location of the hotel is wonderful. It's very convenient to get on and off buses. Especially for the Tour Buses. A lot of restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops around there. I highly recommend travelers to stay there.

Excellent hotel stay overall from a UK and HK travellers.
Clean room, nice shower and bathroom, housekeeping was very tidy.
Very good location close to the city centre and BSI bus terminal was 25 mins walk away.
Only downside was we felt very uncomfortable around the breakfast staff, seemed very strict, not friendly and had to abide by their rules (arrived at 06:55am as we had an early flight but not allowed to touch the breakfast table as it started at 07:00am)
Not much variety from breakfast either.
Overall though very good hotel stay.
Room was good had everything you needed but did take a while to get warm. A little noisy if staying on airport side but stops around 22/23.00 and great views from the window. Staff very friendly and explained everything you need to know of the area.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very close to the cathedral and the city center. It is also very close to the bus station. It is also very convenient to go to the major attractions. The breakfast is moderate and the service is very good. The towels need to be mentioned in advance, no extra charge. This store is worth recommending.
GGuest UserLocated in downtown Reykjavik, it is convenient for travel and has a good surrounding environment. However, it is a self-service hotel with no front desk and you have to contact by phone, which is very troublesome if you don't have good language skills. The breakfast is OK, rich and purely Western. Attached are photos of the surrounding environment.
GGuest UserI traveled to Iceland and chose this hotel for a total of three nights. This is the first night(8.6),Everything else in the hotel is very good. The only terrible thing is that for the room on my left, I can clearly hear their phone calls. For the room on my right, I can clearly hear them coughing and talking, which is very clear in the middle of the night. I doubt whether every room can hear the sound like this, so I will consider whether it is useful to propose to change the room.
GGuest UserA recommendable place for sure to stay :). Close walking from bus stops, in front of places where to eat fast food and also the sea. The dorm was fine and good beds, without curtains. The kitchen was prepared with many useful cooking tools. Nice decoration, nice staff helpful and able to speak good English, they are prepared to receive tourism with maps. This is not in hands of the hostel but would be nice if they can do something: there are couple of guest so stinky, one close to my bed was sooo smelly, I was capable to recognize when he was not covered with the blanket, so disgusting, also the house keeping is nice to clean, but there is to many guest, the trash cans are so full and people do not wash their dishes.
DDebating CoachThis is not at BSI Bus Stop. This is at Bus Stop Reykjavík. It’s not far from Bus Stop 6 and I could use Kapper so that saved me a couple of taxis. Just don’t be afraid to walk out to the highway and cross at the stoplight. They have a lot of tours and the private room is nice. Just avoid wearing socks in bed or else it will lead to Icelandic levels of static generation. It hurts.

LLivoryPerfect in all counts. Service was top, free private parking saved hassle of figuring out public parking space, rooms super clean and housekeeping everyday (we didnt really need it but they kept our room tidy everyday), very good furniture arrangement to open two big luggages with room to still walk. Reykjavik city centre is not too big so walking from hotel is not hard at all. Hotel is beautiful with so much art to admire, lobby decor was amazing and welcoming. I am just glad that on my return to Reykjavik from east of Iceland, we are staying there again before we fly off to our next destination. If you’re staying in Reykjavik and don’t mind a 5min walk to city centre, this is the place to book. One small gripe: bring eyemasks for summer as the curtains leak a tiny bit of light no matter how you arrange it (which is a common issue we faced in most Icelandic hotels).
MMebius10XFor East Asians, a true ”hotel” with complete services and equipment is still very good. Parking is right at the door, which is more convenient. It is some distance from the city center attractions, so it is not convenient for self-driving tourists.
SStefan-AusI can absolutely sympathise with people who struggle to get in and check in to this hotel.
When you book through a 3rd party app, you do not receive your room number or entry code. The check-in process is then an adventure of trying to shout into a tablet near the front door, for a call that lasts maximum 2 minutes before it disconnects and you have to try again.
The layout is… odd… to say the least, but if you follow the signs you can eventually end up at your room (if you find some of the doors that work, not all do).
The maintenance person who broke into our room while we were out forgot to lock the door, so we were at risk of all of our things being stolen, which wasn’t ideal.
The room itself was nice, location is good and as long as you don’t need anything, you are getting what you pay for.
