In the city center, the famous lake, it will take about 10 minutes to walk to the concert hall. Lived on the third floor spire. The room is big in Iceland. There is a small balcony. The Italian restaurant downstairs is quite delicious.

perfect location and friendly reception. All bath sets are L'Occitane´s, which i prefer the most. A small coffee machine in the room. A little improvment could be the light in the room, which is a little bit dark for me, but someone will like it.
friendly staff, the sauna and hot tub were clean and nice。。。。our room was perfect, but if you are picky with drinking water, bring your own to the room。the water from the tab is drinkable, but has a lot of sulfur in it and smells this way。
the breakfast was very good, different coffee, waffles, bread, porridge, fruits,。。。。

I was slightly disappointed by the hygiene as I found pieces of hair and stains on the bedding, although the front desk staff was quick to respond to my request with changing a new set of bedding sheets, I still found a small piece of hair after new set was changed. Besides from that, the location was great and hotel staff were friendly.

The hotel was very centrally located and modern. The room was spacious and comfortable - a little bit old but not a big issue. They offered to store our luggages upon check out which was a good service. They didn’t provide any parking space but there were public parking spots nearby.

**Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!**
From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.
The location was perfect, close to
everything making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning.
What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Our flight arrived late. The hotel staff waited for us until 3am and made the check in process super smooth. The breakfast is great. The hotel is located right next to Bus Stop #9 in the heart of downtown Reykjavik. Next time we will stay here again for longer.

The hotel is pretty good at this price, with complete facilities, no first-class compromise, you need to bring your own. The environment on the first floor looks good, stay temporarily in Lei City as a resting place, pay attention to the parking position
The location is a little far away, the others are very good

TTraveler DanThe hotel is okay. It’s a big hotel just next to the bay. There was a lot of school groups staying here so it was pretty crowded and noisy in the mornings and evenings. Breakfast was fine, not a huge amount of options just bread, small selection of fruit and a couple of cereals. The room was very small and the bed was too small (I’m 180cm). I got a room with a window but the window was just to the hallway and even with the blind down light was coming in all the time which made it difficult to sleep.
WWongAaronI recently had the pleasure of staying at Guesthouse Aurora, where the charm of the establishment was only matched by the warmth of its hosts. Nestled in a convenient location next to the Church, the guesthouse presented itself as an inviting home away from home, perfect for travelers looking for an authentic and personal touch to their accommodation.
Before arrival, we were worried that we cannot checkin because we took a night flight. However, when i called the staff, he answered that even our arrival time is out of customer service, he could leave the key and PIN code for us to self-checkin, he also went beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process. Their attention to detail and eagerness to assist with any inquiries set the tone for a delightful stay.
The guesthouse itself boasted a quaint and cozy atmosphere, with communal areas that were well-kept and adorned with tasteful decorations, offering a homely comfort that was immediately noticeable. The included breakfast was a highlight of the stay, featuring a generous spread of both local and continental options, freshly prepared and sure to satisfy a variety of tastes. The morning meal provided a wonderful opportunity to mingle with other guests and exchange travel tales, all while enjoying the delightful array of food.
However, it's worth noting that the room space was somewhat compact. While the room was impeccably clean and well-equipped with the necessary amenities, the limited space could pose a slight inconvenience, especially for those with a significant amount of luggage or a
GGuest UserLocated in downtown Reykjavik, it is convenient for travel and has a good surrounding environment. However, it is a self-service hotel with no front desk and you have to contact by phone, which is very troublesome if you don't have good language skills. The breakfast is OK, rich and purely Western. Attached are photos of the surrounding environment.
GGuest UserI traveled to Iceland and chose this hotel for a total of three nights. This is the first night(8.6),Everything else in the hotel is very good. The only terrible thing is that for the room on my left, I can clearly hear their phone calls. For the room on my right, I can clearly hear them coughing and talking, which is very clear in the middle of the night. I doubt whether every room can hear the sound like this, so I will consider whether it is useful to propose to change the room.
GGuest UserIt’s a nice place I live in room with 8beds
There’s a kitchen with kitchen implements we can use
There’s a hair dryer in the washing room
And there’re lockers in the room but no hangers
Cross Street u can see the sea
Walk 3mins there is a market (not expensive)
Maybe around 10 mins u can see the church
It’s a good experience
YYoyoChuAs a hostel, the cleanliness is good. But the kitchen area is really small for big groups of travellers.
Location wise, it is a little far from the city center. But for us, it only takes 20-25 minutes of walking. It is acceptable. The convenient thing is that we can depart the hostel and to the airport directly (usually it needs to transit at the Reykjavik terminal for airport shuttles).

GGuest UserThe hotel staffs were very welcoming and hospitality. We feel really good when we arrived at the hotel and even during departure. Breakfast spread was small but great. We had a warm and nice breakkie. The room is very cosy. The bed was very soft and springy! The blanket was just nice, very warm and comfortable. How we wish we could bring home. Haha. The price was also worthwhile. ✌🏻
LLivoryPerfect in all counts. Service was top, free private parking saved hassle of figuring out public parking space, rooms super clean and housekeeping everyday (we didnt really need it but they kept our room tidy everyday), very good furniture arrangement to open two big luggages with room to still walk. Reykjavik city centre is not too big so walking from hotel is not hard at all. Hotel is beautiful with so much art to admire, lobby decor was amazing and welcoming. I am just glad that on my return to Reykjavik from east of Iceland, we are staying there again before we fly off to our next destination. If you’re staying in Reykjavik and don’t mind a 5min walk to city centre, this is the place to book. One small gripe: bring eyemasks for summer as the curtains leak a tiny bit of light no matter how you arrange it (which is a common issue we faced in most Icelandic hotels).
GGuest UserMy granddaughter and I enjoyed our overnight and the location was great for local sightseeing. Very helpful staff with respect to local eateries, etc.
