I recently had the pleasure of staying at Padma Hotel Semarang and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully designed, combining contemporary opulence with the rich multi-cultural heritage of Semarang. The location is perfect, situated on Jl. Sultan Agung No.86, Candisari, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and offer stunning views of the city. The amenities provided are top-notch, including a fitness center, pool, and free high-speed internet. The breakfast spread is impressive, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The staff at Padma Hotel Semarang are incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of 2. We stayed during Ied Mubarak holiday for 4 days/3 nights in April 2025. We booked 2 connecting rooms for my family (4 persons). I chose this hotel because it has swimming pool and gym, we used to exercise daily. In fact, the gym was closed for long term maintenance. It should be declared and crossed out from the hotel facility so we noticed from beginning, not surprised on site. The rooms at a glance were ok but when we looked to the interior were lousy. The curtain, gordyn, and bed lamps, dirty and stained. My children room has no curtain, so direct sunshine and very hot during the day. The towel seemed already used for years. not soft, looks lousy and the color not pure white as normally hotel towel. Each room provided safety box but no function at all. if you see the direction on the safety box (see the photo), it supposed has red button inside the box but no button at all. The safety box used 4 battery. In my room has only 2 batteries out of 4 and already expired since March 2018. My children' room has 4 battery but also not functioned. the button numbers and keys cant be pressed so we cant keep important and valuable items inside it. The swimming pool were crowded and the water was dirty. the hotel supposed to overall cleaning to the pool due to holiday seasons but the water obviously dirty. The parking lot is low maintenance, dirty, and rubbish everwhere. the Horison Ultima was only 3 years old last December 2024 as I saw from the stickwerck at lobby. The hotel was Star Hotel and changed to Horison Ultima. The parking lot was narrow and limited. For location is ok, near Java Mall. good for morning walk. the hotel staffs were polite and fast response. the amenities for 4* hotel is good enough. the mini fridge in the room is ok as well as the Aircon. If I may advise the management, please take serious attention to the cleanliness and maintenance also room refurbishment to the lousy interior inside as top priority.

The hotel was comfortable, the rooms were clean, the service was great and friendly, and I especially got a room with a city view. The super-fast Wi-Fi was a huge help when I was working on a deadline. There are plenty of food stalls and restaurants around the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Semarang.

Front staff service is very polite. They provide excellent and quality breakfast. Plenty of parking spaces. Keep it up, thank you.

Always comfortable and a good stay. We were given a room with window to the east, sunrise with the Lawu Mountains was awesome and the morning sun streaming in. So good.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and super clean. Location is prime. Walking distance to Maju Fast Food, Toko Roti Tegal, Ronde Jago, and many more. Room price is very affordable. This is now the best hotel in Salatiga.

Hidden game, tempatnya agak masuk tapi view, kamar dan fasilitasnya oke banget dan rekom sekali. Dengan harga segitu worth it sekali, sayangnya waktu kesana restonya masih belum buka. Sepertinya masih persiapan karena masih baru. Tapi gojek dan lainnya masih bisa nyangkut kalau cari makan atau jajan, apalagi kalau lg mager keluar 😁

Hotel is walking distance to chain malls and food services. Very convenience to walk to. Breakfast selection and quality is less than expected.

I recently had a delightful stay at Hotel Tentrem in Semarang, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience. The cleanliness of the rooms and restrooms was impressive, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The hotel amenities, including the gym, were excellent and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for me was the delicious breakfast spread. The variety was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I also want to give a special shoutout to Ibuk Elfi for her warm hospitality during breakfast. Her cheerful demeanor made our mornings even more enjoyable. As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the skills of Mas Arafi, the barista. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, mocaccino, and café latte he prepared; each cup was a treat. His knowledge of coffee truly shines through in every sip.
