I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ascott Jakarta, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is incredibly convenient, situated right in the heart of the city with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and key business areas. The service was truly outstanding. From the moment I checked in, the staff were warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. They made me feel welcome and ensured that all my needs were met throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the in-room amenities and the overall modern yet cozy ambiance. Housekeeping was consistent and thorough, maintaining high standards throughout. The facilities, including the gym, pool, and restaurant, were excellent. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere which made it easy to unwind after a busy day. Overall, I highly recommend Ascott Jakarta to anyone looking for a high-quality stay in the city, whether for business or leisure. I look forward to returning in the future.

There is a washing machine in the room I booked and a pantry with a family size fridge. Room is very big and very comfortable. The hotel gym has free weights up to at least 20kg dumbbells and a smith’s machine.  Swimming pool is at the edge og the hotel and overlook the city line.

Review: 5-Star Hotel Stay – Mixed Experience. I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel Aug 2025, which, despite its grandeur, is showing its age at nearly a decade old. The property retains an elegant charm, but certain aspects left me with mixed feelings. Room and Cleanliness: The room was impressively spacious, a highlight of the stay, with a bit old decor and ample space to relax. However, the cleanliness was average at best. While the surfaces appeared tidy, there were noticeable signs of wear, and the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke was a major downside. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room through Trip.com and reiterated this during check-in, but was informed that no non-smoking rooms were available. As a gesture, the staff upgraded me to a higher-tier room, which I appreciated, but the cigarette odor was still strong, lingering in both the room and the hotel corridors. This was particularly disappointing for a 5-star property. Service Issue: To address the smoke smell, I called room service to request an air freshener. After waiting 30 minutes with no delivery, I had to call again. The second time, the staff promptly delivered it, which helped slightly, but the experience felt inconsistent with the hotel’s luxury branding. Amenities: On a positive note, the breakfast was exceptional—diverse, mix of local and International cuisine. The swimming pool was another highlight, well-maintained, and a relaxing spot to unwind with an indoor and outdoor scenic view. Overall: While the spacious rooms, fantastic breakfast, and nice pool were highlights, the cigarette smell and inconsistent service detracted from the experience. For a 5-star hotel, I expected better attention to cleanliness and guest requests. I’d recommend this hotel for its amenities but urge management to address the smoking issue and improve service responsiveness to truly meet 5-star standards. Rating: 3.5/5

The staff at the place are excellent, the hotel is excellent, and the bed is super comfy. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good place to stay in Jakarta. For transportation it's great too, with the LRT and TransJakarta stops very close to the hotel. Only issue I could really find was that there isn't much in the way of eateries within easy walking distance of the hotel.

2nd time staying here in this oasis with checkin lobby on Sky Lobby level (press SL button in the lift). Again, got upgraded to a one-bedroom suite without requesting for an upgrade. Love the coffee machine as I need my espresso shot every morning. Service staff are smiley & polite, not trying too hard to please like some other hotels by chattering with you, so you get a lot of privacy, good for introvert like me haha. Surrounding areas are not conducive for taking a walk outside. No adjoining mall but getting grabcar is cheap & fast to go to nearby malls & restaurants (recommend Indonesian restaurant The Acre in Menteng & Semesta on level 2 of Ashta District 8 mall). Actually no adjoining mall greatly improves the tranquility & security of the hotel. In summary, value for money for a new, peaceful & quiet 5-star hotel with big rooms, smart TV, coffee machine, washing machine, toilet seat with built-in turnknob bidet spray, & tight security.

Guest services are nice and polite. Gotta give credits to the lady at the front desk, I didn’t get her name. But she has a long hair and wore specs. Always serving the guest with a smile! :) The room were clean and have all the necessary things that is needed. But wish that they have 2 pillows on the bed instead of 1, and the room slippers only 1 in each room but we had 4 people in the room. Another downside is the location, there’s always flood when it’s raining. So a little hard to travel back with grab because they will have to go another way and unable to order food cause no riders would want to take :’) Other than that, everything is good. Would stay there again in the future.

Staying in a deluxe room was much much better than an executive suite, hotel fulfilled our request to decorate our room for the anniversary. We started to enjoy our stay after our first day staying in executive suite ended up with disappointment, breakfast area very crowded but it's fine and restaurant staffs doing excellent job. When we check out Joshua very nice and professional, and we would be happy to stay again with Pullman in the future.

A good hotel pays attention to details such as providing complimentary toiletries, offering a variety of pillow options, ensuring prompt housekeeping services, and maintaining well-groomed surroundings. It's always helpful to read multiple reviews to get a balanced perspective before making a decision.

Double tree diponegoro is top notch hotel. Wonderful short staycation with family there. Just little suggestion, pls add more hanger to hang wet swimming clothes in bathroom. Else all are amazing.

This hotel is about 25 mins from the airport, the journey back to the airport is little shorter, about (20 mins) due to favourable freeway access. The hotel facilities are great, including a rooftop pool (super clean) and an excellent gym. There is a range of deckchairs and comfortable lounges. Most importantly, this hotel is connected to a shopping centre with range of restaurants including fast food (Burger King) and more refined options, including Chinese and Japanese restaurants. The mall also has a large supermarket (ground level) and Uniqlo chain store. In addition, there is another low cost shopping mall, just across the freeway, accessed via pedestrian pathway. (a 5 minute walk) This is great for clothing at super bargain prices. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and obliging. The rooms have all the essentials and my room (on the 15 floor) is also had great city views. Internet connection is fine and TV channels are OK, but there is no BBC and CNN. My only concern is the bathroom. The bathroom is very tiny and there limited bench space for your own toiletries. In addition, when the taking a shower, the water floods the bathroom floor, hitting the toilet. You need to use bathroom towels to mob the floor, after a shower. A simple shower curtain is required here. The toilet roll holder is difficult to access, (behind you) meaning you need to remove the roll to use. I booked this hotel last minute and therefore my hotel room rate was a little expensive compared to other options. Still, overall, I would recommend this hotel for its shopping mall, the fantastic swimming pool, and overall quality of hotel (despite the bathroom issue).
