Swift and prompt check in. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Room is clean and tidy. The bathroom is very spacious and ergonomically comfortable. The location is superb right in the center of the city center where all the activities and attractions are.

The washer tabs do not provide a non-slip mat in the shower room. We requested to buy one since we will be staying for three days, but they denied our request due to risk concerns. Instead, they offered a towel to place inside the shower.
Even so, they should be able to provide non-slip
strips!
Secondly, the elevator to the G floor lift lobby is not convenient for elderly or accessible individuals, as it requires stepping up a staircase.,

Good budget hotel. Clean but bathroom was a little bit run down. Would have liked a couple of bottles of complimentary water. Otherwise, a great location, staff are friendly. Did try the breakfast as lots of other good options near by.
Booked the Orchard simply because of it's convenience to the University of Nottingham as we travelled for the Open day. Lovely hotel, nicely decorated and rooms and service were fine. Would stay again.
Worst night I’ve had in a hotel for years door’s banging nearly all night constantly noisy people obviously not working people. Seriously considering swapping hotels for next visit can’t risk that again
I sometimes travel into the area for work and l realise this hotel is back up and running again which is fantastic due to the refurbishment they had the new refurbishment is brilliant. The rooms are lovely and I got a good nights sleep also the night staff are brilliant and very helpful.

Elderly parent stayed here in an Accessible Room while her heating system was replaced. Staff were excellent with her, extremely helpful and aware of her needs. Room was very clean and well equipped. There are so few accessible rooms in Nottingham and this was top notch.
Facilities a bit lacking for main meals. Local area a little run down too. But overall very good.

Location near the city center with only 5 mins walking distance. Parking fee at GBP10 per day is good deal. Serve coffee and bread at free. Also provide self laundry washing machine.
It next to a night club, so much noise when it is weekend or holiday. And noise is last to 4am.
A fantastic find. We normally stay at the Orchard when visiting our son at uni, but this was just around the corner from his house so we took a punt. It was great, and much more convenient for town.

Decent enough hotel. 15 minute walk from train station. Receptionist pleasant and friendly. Stairs carpet very worn but clean enough in room. Was offered an upgraded room for £10 extra with bigger bed but declined as I was only staying one night. Bed was fine and comfortable. Hotel is in middle of shopping district with a wide variety of family restaurants cafes and bars. Area was fine and busy during the day but not ideal for the solo traveller returning late evening with numerous takeaway bike riders speeding up and down amd beggars.
Very Good

JJessacoThe whole stay was great, I needed somewhere to stay while work was being carried out on my house. The rooms are spacious and have bathtubs, there was a big desk for me to work at and the internet connection was perfect, I had multiple video conferences and it never dropped once. Housekeeping were kind enough to check if I needed anything everyday, and reception staff were super friendly.
Right next to a massive national trust property had some beautiful autumn walks
However there is absolutely no phone signal (Vodafone)obviously nothing to do with the hotel it’s just extra info about the area!
CChie HongWhile the hotel is a bit old, it still provides a fairly comfortable stay. The rooms, though somewhat dated and small, are clean and functional, offering the basic amenities needed for a decent experience. One of the highlights of this hotel is the excellent service from the front desk staff, who are helpful and attentive, ensuring that guests feel welcome. The location is also a major advantage, providing convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Additionally, there is a casino close to the hotel, which may be appealing to guests looking for entertainment options during their stay. Overall, while the hotel could benefit from some modernization, its location and service make it a reasonable choice.
GGuest UserThe locations was good only 20 min from town center, but all around student accommodations which when it comes to night time was very hard to sleep because of the laud noises. Also what put us of are were the random hair on the bed and the spider crawling everywhere. Other than that good price for a short stay, staff were very helpful and polite.

CCherry Bobowas full house but still providing very good reception check in services , the room is clean and cozy. Location is great nearby the retail park and restaurants. There is a tram station
BBenjamin ArthurA lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares?
There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat.
The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names.
The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk.
Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in.
Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update.
Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.
GGuest UserGood location- easy to find and close to the train station. We drove so used the car park in front of the hotel where there is a discount for staying at the hotel just let reception know you are parked there - is a set fee for 24hrs.
Rooms were clean and quite basic but sufficient for what we needed - downside no fridge to chill your drinks. There is a kettle to make hot drinks and room has tv which is good.
Ordered the breakfast which was lovely - options to have cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, pastries and a full English with coffee/tea and juice.
Restaurant overlooks the river which was nice as we could see the ducks and swans
Hotel has a bar which was nice to have a few drinks in the evening when we arrived
Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - would definitely go back if we needed to stay in Nottingham again
Price was good value for money!
