The environment is very clean and new. Staff are polite and helpful. I am impressed by the efficiency of a cleaner worker who set up the sofa bed, changing the linen and bed sheet on my room within 3 min .

Service was basic but expected of a budget hotel. Hotel was small but cosy. I liked that they had a proper desk that I could use since I am studying at Cambridge but didn’t manage to get a college room. Bed was surprisingly comfortable despite being basic. There are only 2 lifts which may be slow if there are large groups of people using it. Location is near train station so that’s a plus point.

No bed for third person made up, called receptionist I was told someone will come and do it, this was at 19:00 no one ever came, even after following up over the phone. I spent night sleeping without bedding, on plain sofa bed without a single pillow. Terrible experience and poor service. Not enough towels, just for one person & again after calling reception- I was told that they ran out of towels!!! This was enough for my family to bare after whole day of travel, especially the room booked was Executive one. So expected to be up to highest standard and service to be over the top, this isn’t the case. Cleanliness is very poor - see pictures. Dust everywhere and this wasn’t one day worth. After asking for partial refund due to poor service, I was given a silly look and smile, advised to sent email online. Do not bother going there.

The hotel's location is excellent. I arrived around 1:00 PM, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They arranged for an early check-in, allowing me to store my luggage in my room and promptly begin my exploration of Cambridge.

Review for Holiday Inn Express Cambridge Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was absolutely wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our visit. The customer service at the front desk was top-notch – a solid 10/10. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. The location of the hotel was perfect for our plans. Many of the places we wanted to visit, such as Cambridge University, the Cambridge Mosque, town centre were just a short 10-15 minute drive away. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. The breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent, with a good variety of options to suit all tastes. The sitting area was clean and pleasant, adding to the overall great experience. Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cambridge!

The room was clean, the breakfast was rich, the service was good, and the luggage could be stored there, but the Holiday Inn in the UK is still much simpler than those in China. Cambridge is a beautiful city. I was in a hurry this time, so I will definitely take a good look next time.

Overall, the accommodation was pretty good. I stayed for one night for the convenience of visiting Cambridge. The hotel is very close to the boating place, which is very convenient. The hotel facilities are a bit old, the flush toilet doesn't work very well, and the bathroom fan is too loud, but everything else is fine. The room is clean and the breakfast is good. There are cold food on site, and you can also order some hot food on site, such as bacon, sausage, bread, omelettes, etc.

Nice Hotel and good facilities. The negatives were definitely the service and food from the Market Kitchen restaurant attached to hotel. Also the jacuzzi was out of action and wasnt mentioned in booking or check in. Would be fine for business travellers who want a comfortable room for an evening.
