Very clean hotel with a huge room :) clean and spacious bathroom. Very well located a few minutes walk from the museum and the city center. Underground parking is a plus (even if paid).
Centrally located hotel with a good quality bed and bathroom, our room also had a balcony and daily housekeeping. Reception staff were friendly and we had the option for free tea and coffee 24/7 at the machine. Cannot comment on breakfast as we did not opt for it.
It's a nice hotel. Everything you need is there. Good city part around. But the devil was hidden in the details.
1) Upon checking in, I discovered hair from a trimmed beard in the shampoo holder on the sink (while I was yelling and running around in circles my partner had just rinsed it off).
2) Centuries of dust on the shelf and TV.
3) The clock on March 01, 2024 is still set one hour ahead. at 8:40pm I get dressed and run out to a meeting by 9pm. which as it later turns out will be in 1.20 minutes. Answer: the technician is no longer at the hotel today, we will let him know. March 04, 2024, at the time of our departure, the clock is still showing the wrong time.
And I thought: ”ok we can live with that”. BUT
3) The room is hot, it's really hot. We Germans and so used to sleep at +17 degrees at night (save money energy and its healthy))). Also my the partner does not tolerate the heat at all (Also if you have age changes or something else... It could be horror). The answer from the hotel: ”It's winter, the air conditioner only works for heating”. This we find out after we have been ”cooling” for a day and a half (but the hotel description has 138 rooms with air conditioning!?).
4) We get a fan to cool down.
5) I discover that the sheets are 50 percent and the pillows are 52 percent synthetic. ((at this point, I realize why they are so sweaty and sweltering to sleep in. I know its subjective).
This hotel recived 3 out of 5 in my rating.
P.S.: The glasses were not washed perfectly (it's just gazpacho, not oil paint and black tea)
The toilet paper holder is positioned so that you hit it with your butt every time you sit down on the toilet, and when you sit down it rests on your chest

Another hotel was cancelled on the day, so I made a reservation at the last minute, prioritizing location and price. The old town, metro and bus stops are all within 5 minutes, and the window overlooked the square, which was beautiful.
To be honest, the interior was cheap and not to my liking. It was clean and the hot water pressure in the shower was fine, but the shelf in the refrigerator was broken, and no one helped me when the phone connection in the room was poor. There was only one reception staff member at a time, and they were very businesslike and did not help more than necessary. The hotel, including the room, had a smell like air freshener, so if you are sensitive to smells, be careful.
The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of dishes, and they also provided room service until midnight, which was appreciated if you were tired.
Bathrobes and slippers were not included.
In summary, the location is good, so it's worth the price.
A very new & clean hotel.
Need to take a bus ride to old town via bus or cab.
Journey is abt 15-20mins.
Breakfast at the hotel was decent.
Bed was comfy but not the sofa bed, which can feel the metal frame when my kid sleep on it.
Relatively value for $ if don’t mind the bus journey. No amenities around the hotel.
Good for people who drives as there is free parking available.
Despite the location on a multi-lane road, the noise stayed outside. The fair opposite was also inaudible. The room was OK, but a bit cramped as a family room. The staff were friendly, quick and very attentive. The pool was a bit small, but there. The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful. The evening meal was also good and the portions OK. The only downside was the €15.00 parking fee per day. For a 4* hotel, I actually expect the private parking spaces to be included in the price.
Clean hotel, good beds. Well located on the highway.
Can use coffee and tea 24 hours.
For a night on the road, this is a very suitable hotel.
Definitely worth repeating.
Excellent. The complex is part of the luxury Arima Hotel, and although the entrance is through another entrance at the back, you can use its services, such as the restaurant, which is very good. The rooms were very new, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Free street parking is available.
parking could be an issue during the day, in the morning, because of their proximity to a hospital 🏥. Afternoon onwards, it is fairly easy to find a free spot though.
Some rooms don't provide a fridge!
No issues with internet connectivity.
The hotel is located approximately 17 minutes walk from the river area and the Guggenheim.
In the portal next door there is a GOiko and a burgerking, there are also bars, bakeries and cafes
The staff is very friendly, they have a locker where you can leave your luggage if you need to.
In my case I reserved parking, since parking in the surroundings is complicated and it is a green/blue/red zone, they allowed us to leave the car longer than we had booked at no additional cost... so great!
Good value for money
The room on the fifth floor, attic style, the window could not be opened completely for security reasons, comfortable bed, only one pillow per person (that is the only drawback I can say)
They provide a reusable bottle to be able to refill with cold/hot filtered water that they have on each of the floors, providing free water to all guests
Spacious bathroom with shower
Excellent cleaning

GGuest UserIf you are looking for a place to sleep and an excellent location for a cheaper price than the surrounding hotels, this is a great option! However, I had not stayed in a pension before and I didn’t realize that we would be sharing a bathroom with 5-6 other people.
The workers were polite, professional and accommodating! They provided coffee, tea and water.

BbaraoGuild**”BAD: Beware of the 'Upgrade'”**
Our priority when booking was the room size and budget, so we reserved a 32m² City View room.
At check-in, the hotel staff offered us an ”upgrade.” He said that for an additional €25 per day, we could ”upgrade,” so we agreed.
However, while the room did have a Sea View, the size was downgraded to just 21m². I told them that paying €25 to have a smaller room was a downgrade, but they insisted that the view had been upgraded.
I asked to be moved back to the room we originally booked, but the staff ignored my request for an entire day.
Let me ask you this: if you went to see a new landscape, and the view changed, how would you describe it? You wouldn’t say the landscape itself was ”upgraded,” would you? You’d say the view was different or better.
The following day, I finally got a response from the staff. They told me I’d need to pay an additional €70 per day if I wanted a 32m² Sea View room.
While the hotel facilities and scenery are excellent, the staff are focused entirely on business and seem to aim to squeeze every extra euro from their guests.
In the end, we ended up paying the €25.
**Beware of the 'Upgrade.'”**
GGuest UserThe stay was generally pleasant. The rooms are quite simple, and the soundproofing could be improved, as you can clearly hear what's happening in the adjoining rooms. One night, for example, we could clearly hear the conversation of the man in the room next door.
As for the room, it doesn't stand out in any particular way. One thing that catches your attention upon entering is the smell, which is quite noticeable at first, although you eventually get used to it. I suspect it's coming from the curtains.
The hotel is well located, in a very quiet area. However, if you plan to get around on foot, keep in mind that the return journey can be somewhat challenging due to the hills. The great advantage of its location is that it's easily accessible from anywhere without having to go through the city center, as it is very well connected to highways and main roads.
The breakfast deserves a special mention: very complete, with a wide variety and quality products.
GGuest UserIt is clean and friendly. The room condition is good for the price. (Hotels with the same price near Abando Station have smaller rooms for the same price) You can walk to major tourist attractions and public transportation is good, so it was convenient for sightseeing.
SSHAWON SHOHELExceptional Stay at Holiday Inn Bilbao!
Our stay at Holiday Inn Bilbao from March 18-19 was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service exceeded our expectations.
The hotel provided seamless airport pick-up and drop-off, making our travel stress-free. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. We were particularly impressed with the peaceful and welcoming environment, perfect for relaxation.
The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional customer service team—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.
Overall, Holiday Inn Bilbao provided us with an excellent experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Looking forward to staying here again!

CCengizIt is such a nice and luxury Spa hotel. Room is very well designed and comfy. Everything you need is in the room, kettle, fridge etc. Hotel has a Spa, Gym and swimming pool. Spa is not free but Gym and swimming pool is free. If you want to stay in San Sebastián but a bit farther from city center this is perfect place for you.
ちちゃんみらI stayed here for one night on my way to San Seba. It was incredibly convenient, directly connected to the International Station, where the bus to San Seba departs. It was also just a few minutes from San Mame Stadium. The museum and the city center are within walking distance, about a 20-30 minute walk. The facilities are very clean and wheelchair accessible, with amenities and a welcome drink included, which was very helpful. It might be quite expensive during soccer season, but otherwise it's great value for money.
