I was a bit put off by some of the reviews before booking, but my actual stay turned out to be quite decent. The lobby and garden areas were pleasant, and there's a swimming pool too. In the evening, we even enjoyed listening to music and having beers at the poolside bar. We only stayed one night as a stopover for an early morning flight, and for that purpose, it was perfectly fine.

This place is very fancy! The dtaff treat you like a celebrity. Great rooms and service too. It's not exactly cheap by Egyptian standards but you certainly get what you pay for and more! And unlike some other places in Cairo you feel safe due to excellent security. Free shuttle to the airport takes 10 minutes at most. Would reccomend.

The lobby looks very glamorous. However, the room and other facilities are definitely out dated!!! The riverside restaurant/cafe is superb in terms of scenery. And interestingly, they don’t serve alcoholic beverages there 🤷♂️

It was my first visit to the Hotel in Cairo, and it was an amazing one! The location is convenient, close to the airport and away from the busy area, yet its easy to move around the city because of its centralized location.. Attractions are 20 minutes away by car from it, and this timing is very normal in Cairo due to heavy traffic around... The staff were super, the service was more than amazing, the breakfast varieties were super and very delicious, the pool is clean and staff were super friendly and they always accommodated our requests. The receptionists all of them were great! I cannot find on mistake with their services to be honest... everyone was happy smiling and super helpful! I'm defiantly coming again to this place! I wish you all the best and keep the service amazing always!

Hotel location is great, breakfast is good, room is nice. However, there are some issues. The rooms have no openable windows, there is always a strong smell of air freshener which can’t be vented. Services are generally good, but there are some girls in the canteen pressurising for reviews after some average service while others silently work hard doing the services. 4 of us tried to play cards in the open area beside the pool as the room is stuffed with air freshener smells, but unfortunately we were asked to leave and do it in our own room. It ruined our experience a bit after otherwise a nice stay.

The location of the hotel is very good , the entrance of the hotel is very nice .i choose it because its new opining in 2025 but unfortunately i shocked when I saw the rooms and the toilets . The room full of dust , no proper cleaning even when i asked the cleaning person to do it. They just fixed the bed . The bathroom not clean and looks in very bad condition. If the management will not take action and put proper plan to check after there workers. Then they will lose there customers. Room service also not responding directly if I requested anything and took 2 days to do it . I think i paid too much for bad service.

It was a wonderful stay at Blue Ocean Studio. The entire place is clean and well-maintained, with a calm and peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxation. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, providing everything needed for a pleasant stay. The swimming pool area is another highlight clean, cozy, and a great spot to unwind. What truly made the experience stand out was the staff: incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.

A perfect hotel in an excellent location. Staff are so kind, friendly and professional - they are not chasing you for tips all the time. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had - you MUST get the breakfast! The hotel beds were very comfortable and the Modern Art museum is a stone's throw away. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Cairo. The view from the rooftop restaurant is breathtaking.

I came to Egypt on a business trip and stayed at JW Marriott, which is not far from the airport. Although it is close to the airport, you can't hear the sound of the plane at all, so you can stay at ease. The sound insulation is also very good. There are security guards at the door, and there are police dogs. All drivers' IDs must be registered, and security checks are required to enter the lobby, which makes people feel safe. It is worthy of being JW Marriott. The environment is really good. The outdoor swimming pool is heated, but it's a pity that I didn't bring swimming trunks. The breakfast is great, with a wide variety. NFC mango juice is highly recommended. Waffles with original honey are amazing. When checking out, I made an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle to the airport. A total of 5 people also sent a minibus. The service is really good. I will choose this next time I come to Egypt.

XXinwuyiwu100This hotel is perfectly situated right inside the airport terminal. From T3 Domestic Arrivals, once you've collected your bags, simply exit, turn left, take the elevator up, and follow the clear signs – it's incredibly easy to locate. For catching a flight the next day, it's also extremely convenient, as you can reach the departure level in just a 5-minute walk.

AAnonymous UserIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

Whether indulging in a sumptuous breakfast buffet, savoring a gourmet dinner, or enjoying a cocktail at the rooftop bar with panoramic views of the city, each dining experience was a culinary delight. The St. Regis Cairo also boasts an array of impressive amenities. The spa and wellness facilities offered a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation, with a variety of treatments and therapies to choose from. In conclusion, my stay at the St. Regis Cairo was an unforgettable experience of luxury, comfort, and impeccable service. From the stunning aesthetics to the outstanding staff and world-class amenities, every aspect of the hotel exceeded my expectations. GGuest UserThis hotel was better than expected. We didnt stay at our usual hotel as the prices for Cairo currently are very high so this was the first time at this hotel. The location is really good - pharmacies, restaurants, kiosks and a Metro market all with 30 seconds walk of the hotel and of course Zamalek is really central so a good hub for Uber and getting around the city. Prior reviews are pretty bad but we found the hotel incredibly clean, the side nile view room we had was large, well appointed, the furniture was certainly not tired and we were pleased with the room from a comfort and business perspective. WIFI worked well, a desk in the room and settee and the bed was GREAT. They really dont have any facilities and there is no gym which is an issue for us but we knew this before booking but there are many gyms close by so dont let this be an issue - just GOOGLE! The breakfast by Egyptian standards was alright. The big plus is the omlette/egg station and they also do morning crepes. Fruit, hot food section, breads,, salads etc and frankly it does the job. Egyptians do breakfast really well so although this is a bit below par on an Egyptian level - on a European level it is very good compared to your travelodges and Holiday Inn Express's in the UK. The staff as always are friendly, attentive and yes you need to tip but this is the same in all Egypt - average tip is 20 EGP. Leave something to housekeeping and you will get lot of extras eg extra coffee etc. I liked the hotel, the other reviewers I think may have been there as tourists expecting something different but frankly this is a good tourist class hotel and its always a good sign when you see Egyptians staying which there were.
