This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images!
We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it!
The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch.
Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute.
To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats.
What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

Hotel staff helped us when our flight was rescheduled due to Typhoon Ragasa, by extending our checkout time and contacting the airline company.
Rooms are huge, clean and very comfortable. It is located just 5 mins from where the cruise dock. Hotel is right next to Wanda mall where there is Uniqlo, starbucks etc. There are plenty of small local restaurants and street food within walking distance.

Overall this very good hotel with nice facilities. However I experience two incidents which downgraded service rank. On the first day in the restaurant person was smoking close to our table - should be separate area for smokers and nonsmokers, no reaction from personel. On the 2nd day when taking short clip of the cook preparing the meal, I was approached by the personel and asked not to record the staff, in other hotels staff is definitely more welcome to guests recording or taking photos. Not here.

I absolutely loved the service and amenities at the Shangri-La Wuhan! Both times I requested extra water, a razor, and other items from room service, they responded in about 5 minutes. The room was clean and spacious, and I especially liked the long desk! All the electrical appliances were spotless, clearly designed with safety and cleanliness in mind. For example, the electric kettle's power cord can be neatly rolled into a hidden compartment in its base. The ironing board and iron were also very easy to use. Overall, I appreciate the service and facilities of the well-established Shangri-La brand. There were no strange odors in the room, and the lotion had that familiar citrus scent. This time, the razor handle was actually bamboo, which was a nice touch, and it even came with a small can of shaving foam! The indicator lights in the elevator lobby were very clear, and when an elevator arrived, there was not only a red light but also a bell sound, so you'd never have trouble finding which of the six elevators had arrived. Very user-friendly! Most importantly, the value for money is exceptional! Thumbs up! 👍

Wuhan East Lake Hotel, Chairman Mao's beloved 'White Cloud and Yellow Crane' retreat. Nestled by East Lake, it boasts a serene courtyard and ancient trees reaching for the sky. Wake up to the gentle lake breeze, enjoy an afternoon stroll through the woods, and experience a perfect blend of rich history and modern comfort. The service is meticulous, facilities are excellent, offering a state guest-level experience. It's a rare tranquil oasis in the city, well worth a special visit.

Came to Wuhan for the New Year's Day holiday and chose this Sheraton in Hankou. We smoothly checked in after taking a taxi directly from Yellow Crane Tower in the evening. The pool temperature was just right, and it wasn't crowded at night, plus you could use the sauna – very comfortable. I went to the gym at 6:30 AM and found a few gentlemen already burning calories on the treadmills and elliptical trainers, full of youthful energy! Check-out was also very convenient, and it was easy to get a taxi right outside. A big shout-out to Manager Jenny, who was incredibly thoughtful with everything from booking and check-in to post-departure follow-up! A delightful two-day trip to Wuhan!

Having meticulously searched for hotels, Changjiang Zhixuan finally proved to be the perfect choice! Upon opening the room door, I was immediately struck by the fresh air and spaciousness of the room. It's likely due to the small private garden, which lent a unique charm to the entire space. For cleanliness-conscious guests like us, every detail – from the bedding to the toilet – was absolutely spotless and impeccably maintained. Furthermore, all the staff were genuinely warm and friendly, always offering service with a smile. Linlin, in particular, stood out with her incredibly thoughtful service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserI entered the hotel at the most tiring time at noon. There was only one housekeeper on duty at the front desk. Seeing my tired face, he served tea and greeted my luggage very attentively, then took me to see the booked room and introduced the room facilities. Because I like quietness, he promptly changed a more remote room for me, and repeatedly reminded me of the Ctrip benefits of this room type. Accompany me upstairs and downstairs to see the room and change rooms. Thank you Xiaoli. After checking in, I felt that the tap water was a bit muddy, and asked for an extra bottle of drinking water. Aunt Gu, the housekeeping sister, smiled and repeatedly asked if I needed anything else, whether I needed paper towels, toilet paper and slippers. The view from the room was great. It started to rain at night. I slept very well with the sound of rain by opening the window. I was drunk with oxygen. I got up early the next day and went to have breakfast first. There were 16 kinds of food, which was very rich. I only ate 8 kinds and will eat them next time. A ********* couple who traveled with me were also very surprised. This Wudang Mountain Treasure Hotel is very cost-effective. I will recommend friends to stay.

BBelitskay TravelA good hotel with excellent service! The staff doesn't speak English, but they are very welcoming and friendly. They helped us with all our questions using a translator. There's a laundry room and a gym on the 16th floor. The only disappointing thing was the cleaning. The rooms are new, but quite dirty. The floor is sticky, and there was ash in the toilet as soon as we checked in, and it wasn't cleaned during our entire stay.

GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Wuhan, and after doing some research, I chose this rather unique Atour Hotel, which offers high-rise river views. The front desk is on the 56th floor, and guest rooms are located between the 51st and 56th floors. We stayed in a Deluxe City View Twin Room, and we could still see the distant river. The room was spacious with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows.
The hotel staff were friendly and housekeeping was prompt. When we ordered takeout, the staff personally delivered it to our room door. As a nice touch, they even gave us a small gift bag of snacks when we left. Breakfast was 48 RMB per person, and the buffet selection was quite rich, including some Wuhan specialties. In the evenings, they offered late-night congee, steamed buns, dumplings, cherry blossom cakes, and more. Atour's sleep-aid pillows are incredibly comfortable, and the hairdryer is compact, quiet, and effective. Overall, the room was very spacious, and the soundproofing was excellent.
The location is convenient; it's very close to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, and Metro Line 2 is nearby. It takes about 30 minutes by taxi to Hankou Railway Station.

Wwj****On a business trip combined with leisure, the thoughtful Yuki arranged an executive room with a river view for me, which exceeded my expectations. Both the daytime and nighttime views were spectacular. The illuminated night view was absolutely stunning. The executive lounge offered a delightful all-you-can-eat breakfast and afternoon tea. The hotel's vicinity, particularly Li Huangpo Road, was bustling with activity, featuring local delicacies like hot dry noodles and sesame paste, and various unique stalls perfect for a leisurely stroll. The hotel is also conveniently located across from the river beach, making a walk along the riverbank incredibly pleasant.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Somerset Future Center Wuhan and was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my experience. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, providing a true sense of comfort and relaxation.
One of the standout features was how quiet the hotel was despite being in a perfect location. It is close to key attractions, dining, shopping and cinema. It offered the ideal balance of convenience and tranquility.
All of the staffs are very friendly: from reception, housekeeping, gym and dining. Our special requests are fulfilled, we can borrow wheelchair to assist my mom to travel around, and we are extremely grateful. During the stay, I had the privilege to know some wonderful staffs such as Daisy, Kylie and Amy from the restaurant. They were absolutely wonderful, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit all tastes. The hot dry noodle and beef noodle were very tasty, top quality.
This hotel has exceeded all my expectations. We would surely book this hotel again when returning to Wuhan. Until then, see you and thanks for the wonderful experience!
MM795360****Praise 6 stars, this is one more, there have been cats barking in the middle of the night, do you know how scary this is, from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock, it is really noisy, I don't want to sleep? Call the front desk, the cat doesn't know where it came from, if it is brought by another tenant, then the quality of this tenant is also extremely touching [smile] [smile]

MM508644****Seriously impressed with the lobby tea bar! Not only do they offer a great selection of hot teas, tea bags, and filtered water for free all day, but the cups are spotless and readily available. They even thoughtfully provide little snacks. It's the perfect spot to relax and grab a warm drink to warm up and unwind before or after catching a high-speed train. The staff are incredibly attentive, always refilling everything promptly, so it's never out of stock. The attention to detail is truly top-notch.

MM522631****Staying at this hotel was deeply moved by the details. The bedding was really comfortable, and the fatigue of business trips was all dissipated at the moment of lying down. The constant temperature shower in the bathroom is too understanding to hit workers, so you don't have to repeatedly adjust the water temperature, and wash away your fatigue comfortably. The cleaning aunt cleaned it very carefully, the tabletop floor was spotless, and even the water stains on the sink were cleaned. The greetings at the front desk were warm and not deliberate, and the mineral water was intimately handed over when checking out. There is no fancy stunt, but the comfort and intimateness are the ultimate, this is what travel accommodation should look like, I really recommend it to every traveler.
OOoiksWill I stay here again? Absolutely yes!
It's flawless and by far the best hotel i have stayed in China and in my life.
Firstly, when i stepped in, the front desk lady (小慧)was so friendly and patient to bribg me through the check in process smoothly and professionally. She patiently explained all the details and services available such as free meal services delivered by robot to room, free airport shuttle, breakfast timing and free laundry services.
Secondly, when stepped into the room, the room was so modern, sparkling clean and hi-tech. There was no foul smeel and smoking smell. Fruits (banana and madarain oranges) and some snacks were provided for free. The curtain can be open or close eith a press of the button beside the bed. The warm pressure and temperature are just right and functioning well almost instantaneously. The toilet bowl is also high tech and equipped with sensor and remote control that can heat up your cold butt in cold winter and wash your butt after your business.
Thirdly, there's a cute little robot that can accurately deliver meals to your roon! So cool!
Lastly, the breakfast buffet was sumptuous and amazing. Also the best i have had staying in China. Many varieties from small xakes, pastries, dim sum, vegetables, noodles, rice, salad, tea leaves, coffee, fruits, yogurt, juices, porridge and etc. The dining ambience is also relaxing and nice although it will be perfect if smoking is disallowed there.
Finally i also wish to extend my thank to the other frontdesk ladies who were on duty onthe night of 2 Jan 2024 and 3 Jan morning as they were also super friendly, polite and attended to my queries well. I offered a small tips of 10 yuan but they turned down as they insisted they are not supposed to accept tips. I am sad but still they are doing their job professionally and i am impressed.

EEthan Matthew HuntI came from Canada due to my business trip, this is absolutely A Hidden Gem That Outshines Even the Hilton Below!
I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Wuhan Hanyang Beike Hotel—this place is a masterpiece of modern hospitality. If you’re looking for luxury without breaking the bank, look no further.
Let’s start with the view: from my room, I had a breathtaking panorama of the Yangtze River, with a front-row seat to Wuhan’s cyberpunk-style skyline. The glowing bridges—including the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Yangsigang Bridge, and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge—light up the night like something out of a sci-fi movie. To top it off, you can even spot the historic Yellow Crane Tower, blending the ancient with the ultramodern in a way that’s visually stunning and emotionally moving.
The interior design of the hotel is unbelievably sleek and luxurious—we’re talking five-star finishes, modern lighting, spotless wood flooring, elegant furniture, and a spa-like bathroom that feels straight out of a high-end design magazine. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and say, “Wow,” the moment you walk in.
I’ve stayed at the Hilton, located just downstairs, and while it’s fine, Beike Hotel blows it out of the water in terms of value, design, and overall experience. You’re getting a top-tier, modern boutique stay at a fraction of the cost.
The staff, especially the warm and professional Ms. Liu, were incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind—service was impeccable.
If you’re a traveler who appreciates unique experiences, luxury on a budget, and a fusion of futuristic style with rich cultural heritage, this is THE hotel to book in Wuhan. I can’t recommend it enough.
I will definitely return, and when I do, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else.
