Very central location with shopping centre right across. Room is nice with good view, very spacious. Housekeeping staff is very helpful and friendly.

Our first night in China after a long journey from OZ. Arrived late in the evening and was warmly greeted by the friendly front desk staff who coped well with an English speaker. Room was excellent, comfortable beds, spacious, with a large and beautiful bathroom. We enjoyed a delicious yumcha lunch in the revolving restaurant. It is located in the central area of Zhaoqing and it was an easy walk to the lake. Highly recommended

If possible, it is estimated that even the toilet paper has to be changed to a small package. [Hardware] 🏠Lobby: The lobby is on the first floor. The single-family house is the hotel. There is a parking lot next to the first floor. The 29th floor is a revolving restaurant. There is a swimming pool and gym on the 5th floor. 🏠Room: The walls of the room are not very regular, the carpet is relatively old, the lamps are all light decay, the lighting is very unsatisfactory, the bed is a 2.4-meter double bed, and the furniture is retro style. But the amenities are really complaining. The same tea bags, toothbrushes, soaps, slippers, and very small shower gels and shampoo are 80 yuan for the same guesthouse. There is such a big bathtub, but the whole hotel has no bath salts, no lotion, and only one roll of toilet paper is placed. The cost accounting is really done by actuaries. It seems that if one more piece of paper is given, the whole hotel will go bankrupt immediately. [Service] The service is not up to par. There is no standard in all places. When I checked in, they said that the room I booked was not clean, and they upgraded me to a deluxe room. In fact, it was just a different floor, and I didn't think it was luxurious. When I checked out today, they called me to ask for the soft drink fee for the mini bar. I have stayed in thousands of hotels, and this is the first time I have encountered such a situation. One dared to charge and the other dared to give. Although the hotel exempted me in the end, it also caused a deduction of impression points. [Food] The Chinese food and snacks are really unpalatable. The pre-prepared dishes at Dude are higher than this taste standard. I dare not compliment them. They are expensive and unpalatable. There are not many choices for the buffet breakfast. The breakfast of a five-star hotel did not see a coffee machine, and there were basically no Western dishes. It was basically Chinese, and all of them were heavy oil foods fried in oil. The five-star plaque of the National Tourism Administration should not be run like this even if there is an annual inspection system. They are using the five-star shell to open a guesthouse and charge a high price. If you can't afford a more expensive management team, I suggest you apply for a star reduction. This thing really has nothing to do with the five-star rating.

How can it be a star hotel? The front desk service is quite poor (I don't know if it's because of the interns or the lack of business experience). It took a long time to check in and call another person to assist! Breakfast, super weird!!! I went up to eat breakfast before 9:30 and it was all taken! Speechless😒 Forget it, I don't want to say it. I stayed there twice, and the first time was not very pleasant. The location of the hotel is very good. It is very convenient to go to Xinghu Lake, supermarket and eat. The room is very big, especially there is a super big bathroom. You can see Xinghu Lake from the room. The view is good and the service attitude of the staff is also very good. However, The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the breakfast had a good view, but the food was not rich enough.

A standard five-star hotel from more than 20 years ago, quite suitable for nostalgia. The sanitation is OK, the room is relatively large, the bathroom is very good, the air conditioning is very cold, but there are thick quilts. The hotel is opposite the Qixingyan East Archway, and there are many restaurants nearby. There is an outdoor parking lot, which is sufficient.

My friend told me that it is an old hotel, opposite the Qixingyan Archway, and the view and night view from the 18th floor are pretty good. The setting is a little old-fashioned, but considering it is an old hotel, it is acceptable. Since I came from Wyndham, the service is much better.
