There were good things and bad things for this weekend trip. The bad things did not ruin the trip and we still have a great time. First, the parking here is so horrible. We drove around a few times to find a spot to oark. We couldn’t drive up to check-in. The parking garage was full and asking the guard about where to park he said the lot and garage were at capacity. We arrived well after the checkin time but our room was not ready and were still being cleaned. It took 4 people to check us in but they eventually got it sorted but this was an issue that was not in their control. They made the process very smooth and stored our luggage as we waited in the lobby. They have Starbucks” in the lobby and we waited for the rooms. The rooms were amazing and had that old world few feel to them. The beds were comfortable and the suites were very spacious. We had both a 1 bedroom suite and an executive suite. The breakfast did not live up to expectations they were slow to refill juices and left with a feeling of being mediocre. Steamed buns were soggy. We ordered food from Delivery and ate dinner out.

The reception was very friendly and willing to help me order food. The room looked stylish and designed by professional designers The hotel has a swimming pool which I have not used though.

The only problem is that people smoke everywhere in the hotel.

We chose this hotel since we wanted to go on staycation and this isn't too far from Thaiwoo Ski Resort. We arrived at about 7pm in the hotel and the parking lot was full but some cars were parking beside the hotel's entrance so we just followed them and parked too. We thought it was alright since nobody told us not to. But the next day early in the morning they called us to move our car because it doesn't look good for their hotel and since we aren't morning people we were kinda pissed. They could have told us last night. Although; this thing happened to us, we still think the hotel is nice for staying. Great rooms.

Stayed one night on the way back to Beijing during the Qingming Festival. The hotel is in a good location, the service is thoughtful, and the room is large. The parent-child room is well decorated. In addition. The breakfast is very good and the stay experience is great!

The hygiene, service and facilities are all very good. The water in the bathtub flows very quickly. The bubble bath is very refreshing. There are many varieties of breakfast, including Cantonese morning tea, mutton offal, etc. I will come again next time

This is the fourth year I have stayed at Zhangjiakou International Hotel. The hotel's facilities and services are excellent. This time I slept on the buckwheat pillow in the hotel room and I felt it was great. I even bought two to take home. During the stay, the staff decisively changed the room because of the noise problem on the floor. As long as the problem was raised, the staff would help solve it as soon as possible. It was great!

Excellent Service and Convenient Stay We stayed one night at Zhangjiakou International Hotel. Although we initially encountered an issue with slow and cold water, it was resolved promptly the same night. Special thanks to the housekeeper, Fengyue, who was incredibly helpful and apologetic. Knowing we had children, she thoughtfully provided drinks and snacks, which made us feel very cared for. The next morning, we enjoyed a very delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options. The hotel’s convenient location is another plus. Overall, a great stay despite the initial hiccup.
