5* - Doubtless the best accommodation in Zhangjiajie This turned out to be the best possible accommodation option for visiting the tourist sites around Zhangjiajie (itself one of the finest tourist destinations in China). It is extremely comfortable and well-kept. The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious in a modern design, with a lot of warm, light-coloured, solid wood. In cold weather, the heating (including floor-heating) works very well and so, after a long day's tourism (potentially among the crowds), the Zishan resort is a sanctuary of peace for you to return to. It is in a quiet mountain environment with beautiful scenery. Lulu, who speaks very good English, looked after every possible detail of the stay - it was effortless for the guest. She organized cars (to and from the airport, to and from the tourist sites), as well as entrance tickets to the various attractions. Without her, life would have been much more complicated. All of the staff were most friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble for them. A word regarding location: no hotel in the region can offer proximity to all of the tourist sites (National Park, Grand Canyon, Tianmen Mountain), because they are all some distance from each other. Therefore, wherever you stay, you will need to take some cars; but that is no problem, as they are readily available. However, Zishan resort also offers the advantage of being literally 10 minutes' walk from the south-east gate of the National Park, used by far fewer tourists than the main gate. Therefore, even if the resort is some distance from the city, this is a major advantage, coupled with the beautifully peaceful setting. Zishan resort also has a good restaurant which is open for most of the day. This tastefully created hotel made for a truly memorable stay (though I can imagine that it may not be easy to obtain a room during the main tourist season!).

The hotel was excellent, it was very clean, we ate delicious meals there, the premises are beautiful with fruit trees and vegetable gardens. Our butler, Lulu (鹿鹿）was very accommodating and took very good care of us. We highly recommend this resort. 酒店非常好、干净极了、我们在那里吃了些很好吃的餐， 在酒店里的地区很美丽，而有些水果树和蔬菜园。鹿鹿，我们的管家，十分包容而她好好地管了我们。我们强强烈烈地推荐这家度假村。

We traveled as a family of 5 with two small children and a grandparent. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were overwhelmingly attentive and kind. Highly recommend.

This hotel is amazing, best location as its so close to one of the park entrances and you will be in the mountains soaking up the beautiful views. The hotel staff are so nice and will accommodate to your every need. Highly recommend to foreign travellers as the staff will book things for you so it takes the stress out of the planning!.

This was a 5 star experience, it was amazing, the service was very personalized. They had someone in charge of our stay in the hotel so anything you needed you could just text the person and they will do their best to make your experience excellent. Our person in charge was 小张 and he made our stay feel so good. 100% recommend this stay, so relax. The only thing is that it’s far away from the city. So if you want city experience then don’t stay here because it is 40 min from the city. This is up in the mountain. In summary, the views here are sooooooo damn pretty and I love it.

A wonderful accommodation close to the Zhangjiajie forests. Just 2 mins drive to the entrance. The place is furthermore a cosy getaway, quiet and remote, to enjoy a romantic stay. The staff is very helpful and aware of our needs and made our stay, even with mediocre weather conditions, just breathtakingly comfortable. I hope we find an opportunity t come again.

An absolutely beautiful location right next to the entrance to the national park. The food was fantastic and the service very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended
